Hi everyone. I've played almost all The Sims titles from 1 to 3. I never really bothered with 4 because I feel like it strayed too far from what I originally liked about it.
My favorite The Sims games would be the original one with all the expansion packs for PC. My absolute favorite is The Sims for PS2 and Xbox. In this one there was Get a Life mode and then Play the Sims mode.
I favor this one simply because Get a Life mode had a clear story to it and actual objectives as well. I liked Bustin' Out too but I feel like the game got more away from this with the newer installments. It became more of an open ended go anywhere/do anything kind of game.
I don't know if it's just me but I prefer a game to have clear goals and objectives. I get that The Sims originally was a no rules kind of game but I wish they would bring back more of the goals and objectives with a story.
Does anyone else have this point of view?
