What a marvelous adventure! 45 sparkly traits that include the 5 character traits the 4 teen aspirations!
With a Prom Night that crowns Max as Prom Royalty and Riku as Prom Jester!  Yes, how did that happen?  But they undoubtedly deserved every vote!
And I appreciate how Riku invited her to the Prom even after she dumped him.  He's a sweetheart and a hottie (but he needs different hair, lol).

The screenshots were all indeed very stylish and not at all gratuitous.
I especially loved the final shot of Max dipping Riku into a Suave Kiss.
Brava, Maxine!  Bravo, Watcher!

I have been wondering about how Molly is constnatly insinuating herself in Maxine's life.
Having read somewhere that Molly is romantically attracted to women, I wonder if she has a bit of a crush on Max?
Entirely understandable, of course. But does Max prefer Molly to Riku? (Why isn't Riku frolicing in the fountain?)

Please say that this adventure will continue once you've had a little break and feel ready to continue Max's adventure at uni. Please?

Yup, Molly is into women. Personally I want the mail carrier's green eyes...

Regardless, it's important to get the potion of immortality and preserve Molly, Riku, and... whoever the mail guy is.

If it happens, it'll be a new separate thread. This adventure was it's own focused thing, and the child raising is the core gameplay hook that I enjoy getting stuck into. The worry is that a subsequent story is less focused, so it would need a clear goal. Biology at Foxbury is the degree I've done the most, because it's objectively the best for picking up traits, but I prefer the Britechester campus. Fewer stairs.

Thank you. It's fun to know people have enjoyed Max's insane skill + traits grind.

Stairs don't matter if you can transportalate or fly. *winks
Mmmk, waiting for you to come up with the next goal now. Distinguished degree at Britechester, hey?

As a post-script, Max won a Starlight Accolade at the award ceremony that same day.

I'm distracted with another save though. I found a townie with toothpaste-blue eyes living at the old Roomies house. Then I found another townie with the same eye colour at a festival. And I've been breeding kids with shockingly blue eyes, and looking at the Desert Luxe kit, and getting more experience with after-school activities.

I've been raising another teen, and my conclusion is Maxine's fame definitely helped her reach drama club level 4. I tried to repeat that schedule, and without the Easy Street perk it wasn't happening. Had to drop out of drama club at level 3 so that there's maybe time to complete 2 after-school activities.

You've abandoned Maxine!?? Okay okay, I suppose it's normal to be distracted by surprisingly blue eyes. Maybe even enough to write about it?  ;D

LOL! We must always play whatever moves us the most, right?
As avid readers, I feel we deserve at least a screenshot or two.  Not everyone knows what color you mean by toothpaste-blue.  Certainly not I!

Maxine had a child.

Janelle, first born and her non-identical twin (I feel there's a word for that) Christy are aliens. I also just took the first random name each time. Their births triggered the Legacy Player achievement, so for the sake of simplicity I'll refer to them as Gen 10.

Janelle got all the looks. She's wholly unedited, this is how she popped out --apart from not getting alien ears which I added back with one click. Christy got Maxine's skin colour, scrunched up mouth, massive chin, permanently surprised browline. If you imagine Mila Munch having a child, that's sort of where Christy was. I did some cas.fulleditmode magic, but still she's got nothing on Janelle.

Janelle will of course have a Father Winter's Baby, and when we get an alien of similar hue, that child will be the next over-achieving Landgraab at the big brown house. The second in the series, if you will! The new expansion adding 4 new child aspirations obviously raises the bar for what's possible, and I felt like doing it with an interesting sim. Pure alien, human skin colour, Sulani Mana, Father Winter's Baby. Basically, taking my "impossible sim" challenge and adding a layer of patience and complication to get a human skin colour.

Janelle & Christy would be dizygotic twins or, more easily, fraternal twins.

How hard for Christy to inherit all the poor points and be constantly compared to her stunning twin! Janelle is clearly destined to live to the max but one wonders whether Christy would become some arch-super villain.

Looking forward to your experimenting with the new pack. Are you getting it straight-away or waiting until the first-fix happens?

Ah. Thank you! The random alien townie father must have had some odd features. For the first child, Janelle, the game engine was sure it was an alien and knew what to do. But doubts crept in, and by the time it was generating Christy there was nothing very alien at all about her alien form.

Regardless, I won't be using the 11th gen child here to experiment. I'll want to be a little familiar first, especially with managing the child aspirations. The goal is obviously completing 8 on normal lifespan. Probably best if the next little Landgraab isn't my first attempt. I've got another child in another save about halfway through that lifestage, having just completed the original 4. That kid has about a week left as a child. If I can complete the new 4, living at Nookstone (I worry the new treehouse is 7x7 and if it can fit anywhere at all, it'll be on the roof) then it's all systems go for Janelle & one of the Fathers Winter.

Oh, Heart Foam!
I won't be getting the new ep immediately (but before 27 April, for sure), so I'm absolutely delighted that you'll be showing us the ropes, so to speak!
Currently, I'm struggling to wrap up one legacy challenge and will get the new pack soon after launching a new one.

So happy to see you back, dear!

;p It's fun to document these sims. Write nonsense along the way. It makes it more official or something.

The twins are teens. I've really not done a whole lot with outfits.

There's another character in the house, Finnegan Greenwood.

There was a healthy, stimulating amount of woohooing in the effort to find the alien townie I wanted to get an alien child. Finnegan was roped in, from the street, to help with the woohooing. (Some townies, shockingly, turn down Maxine so the next man that walked past got added to the household.) Between them they woohooed maybe 40 different sims, and still didn't have great options. The other advantage of Finnegan is he has a distinguished physics degree. I assume he was generated when Max was at university. Anywho. He's using that physics degree to craft the ExoMech suit -- something I've literally never done, because I always go for the other branch to get the computer glasses. Story progression has also got him engaged to a random townie. So he's not an item with Maxine, but he is a father figure to Janelle and Christy. And until he's finished the ExoMech suits, he's staying.

I really enjoy being back at the big house. I have some ideas of moving some rooms around to more sensible places. There's always stuff to do.

They're not in disguise. My aliens never are. No need to accomodate fragile humans who are scared of the 'other'. Maxine gets an eight hour +2 confident Xenophilia moodlet from interacting with her own daughters because she loves aliens. She's thrilled all time. Wow! An alien! So cool! Yes, Max you've met them before. I promise you have. It's quite cute I think.

-----

I read posts like these years ago, and was something I wondered about too. Blue skin and human eyes is interesting, but I wanted the reverse.

https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Feedback/Human-skin-with-Alien-eyes/td-p/9344211

https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/825207/alien-eyes-and-ears-on-a-human

It's a mystery that has gone unsolved for years. Until now! So Janelle and Christy are remarkable, and I know how to reliably have such children.

So after the vigorous woohooing -- I admit the house is designed with it in mind, that's what the closets are for. Sometimes the route to the bedrooms above is just taking up time and you wanna know if that's an alien. I know? Yeah? Everyone can relate to this. So after all the woohoo and found only one townie alien, in a bright unnaturally red, pre-burned skin colour, I wondered if I could make the babydaddy sim I wanted another way. Of course the upgraded GTW satelite dish has a "detect aliens" function too, so might have saved time, but that's one of the things the big brown estate does not have.

I found a olive-skinned townie man wafting past. I think a shade darker than Janelle. It's a little pity she didn't get his exact tone. Added him to the household, opened the cheats menu, made him an alien. Then I immediately removed him from the household. The key is in never loading the alien into CAS, because then the game will have to generate an alien form. Never use CAS to check alien status, never create the alien in CAS. When there's an alien form, that's obviously the skin colour the game will use. But prior to loading up in CAS alien townies do not have an alien form. They are only their disguise, and the same held true for the random townie I made into an alien. (I wasn't totally sure it would work. I was a little concerned that in the brief moments he was part of the household the game might conjure up a blue body for him in the background. It didn't, so we learned something.) The other exploit is the clash between aliens and occults, that's how spellcaster Maxine has alien children at all.

Of course in CAS only alien skin is visible, all the human tones are hidden. So if you got some weird burnt red or ashy grey sim, and it looks unnatural, the only options for changing it are the green, blue, purple etc. And then you don't have a special sim any more.

I think I've followed your process but does it mean you can't ever take alien Janelle into CAS because doing so would generate alien coloured skin for her?

Christy, by the way, looks lovely too, imho  :)

No, that precaution is for the father. The reason Janelle and Christy have human skin in their alien form is game had no colourful alien skin from the alien parent to give them.

Janelle and Christy have only ever been in their alien form. They have awful random disguises that I've never looked at. I can play dress up in CAS normally with them, I simply haven't done much there yet. The game isn't going to override the skin they have, it's who they are, and can be passed down.
