You're most welcome! I was honestly worried it would be taken as being too forward or pushy. :)

Hi -
The spreadsheet looks like it might just look for the first four adoptees (e.g., 04 = sum(D3:D6) - which is only 4 children and I think, if I read it right, we're allowed 6 children?
 2 children & 1 toddler/adult?)
And I think it might be off on child grades (it needs t4 & v4 instead of u4 and needs t5 added to the total.  So: =SUM(Q3:Q5,T4:T5,V4,X4,Z5)*AA3
Also - does potty training count as a skill for toddlers (in other words, is a maxed out toddler 5 skills max or 4 skills max)?

Click on the scoring tab. Not the example tab. If it is still a problem I will fix it when I get home.

Clarification question, A skill lv up to 9 is worth points, but if it hits ten then its worth 0, not the 0.18 at level 9, all points for the skill are lost?

If a skill for a Toddler or Child is maxed, then it is not figured into the multiplier. Maxed skills are scored separately. Non-maxed skills are scored in the multiplier. So, in your example of skill leveled to 9, then .18 is added to the multiplier. If you had maxed the skill it would not be added to the multiplier, it would be scored separately.

And for the non toddler/child skills?

I'll try to get a score in for this, but I have to finish my last assignment (due in 6 days) for my course, so I can get a job. Good luck, everyone. 8)

@sone

It's all right in the rules.

Quote
SM -   Skill Multiplier. Everyone starts with a multiplier of 1. Each skill level for non-maxed skills (toddler, child, and teen) adds .02 to the multiplier. (Note this before they age up.)
You are scored for Toddler and child Maxed skills. Maxed skills for Toddlers and children are scored separately from the Multipler.

Had to do this one early:

Toddler: 300 (240 if potty training doesn't count)
Child: 870
Teen: 495
Total: 1665 (or 1605)
Multiplier: 11.16

Total: 18581.4 (17911.8)

This was weird.

@SueDenim Can you send me a breakdown of your maxed and unmaxed skills by age please so I can input them and see what I come up with?

Sue, there are only 5 Toddler skills.
I got that from
5 toddler skills * 2 toddlers * 30 points/skill -> 300.

I sent my info to @sdhoey so that everything can get cleared up.
