Occult Baby Boomer: Who's Your Daddy?

Goal
To celebrate Father's Day, we are offering you a variation of our beloved Baby Boomer challenge. You know you've always wanted to try the 100 Baby Challenge, but it's always seemed like too much of a grind. Right? Now, here's your perfect chance, but with two twists: (1) your Sim only makes babies without raising them and (2) only 100% occult offspring (not hybrids) count toward your score.

General Challenge Rules

Specific Challenge Rules
  • To play this challenge, you will need at least one of the following packs: Get to Work, Vampires, Realm of Magic, Island Living. The game spawns only a limited number of certain occult types, however, the more occult-related packs, the better.
  • Create a YA Male Sim in CAS — any life state. Do not use Story mode.
  • Before entering Live Mode, enter Manage Households one time only to select your global Neighborhood Story System (NSS) settings for "My Households" and "Other Households." Be sure to disable "Have Babies" and "Adopt Babies."
  • Before entering Live Mode, add any missing community lots to your world you wish. You are allowed to edit community lots but must not alter them structurally (move walls, add a basement, etc.)
  • Clubs are allowed.
  • No household additions and no moving in with existing households.
  • Your sim is allowed to move to any unoccupied lot (with or without a house/apartment) that he can afford but, once you choose three l traits, you must use those same lot traits throughout the challenge, even after moving.
  • Your Sim must not get the same Sim pregnant more than once; that is, each pregnancy must be with a unique baby mama.
  • Your Sim is allowed to try for baby multiple times, however, until the baby mama is pregnant.
  • You can check your Sim's in-game family tree at any time to see which of his baby mamas have given birth.
  • The challenge ends on Week 4, Day 1, 8 a.m.

Scoring

Occult Offspring: Add up the number of your Baby Daddy's offspring who are Occults (full aliens, spellcasters, merfolk, and vampires; alien hybrids do not count).
Once your challenge ends, save your game then:
*Check your Sim's in-game family tree to see how many offspring he has fathered.
*To determine the number of Occult sims fathered by your Sim, enter Manage Households and "Edit" the households concerned.
The life state icon only appears for toddlers and older, while aliens and alien hybrids have characteristically alien skin tones.
*To determine if your Sim's nooboo is a spellcaster or vampire, visit their home and check their bassinet. (Note that merbabies don't have unique bassinets).

Regarding merbabies, if there are any potential ones at the end of the challenge do we just ignore them in the count or can we fast forward (with no other gameplay) to determine their life state?

You are correct that a merbaby's life state cannot be determined until the toddler stage.
Once you've reached the end of the challenge period, save your game.
Then you can go around checking any necessary households.
For potential merkids, it's faster to simply age them up from the bassinet rather than fast-forwarding through the two-day nooboo stage.
No early age-ups until you've played to the end of your challenge, though.

I see from various forums that double occult hybrids can occur. Does, for example, an alien-merperson hybrid count as an occult sim for this challenge? Or do the offspring have to be fully one occult species to qualify?
(Apologies for the lateness of the question)

From the Scoring section...

Occult Offspring: Add up the number of your Baby Daddy's offspring who are Occults (full aliens, spellcasters, merfolk, and vampires; alien hybrids do not count).

Regarding occult hybrids, alien hybrids definitely do not count toward the score because it would be too easy to create a human baby daddy then hook up with all the non-occult townies.
As far as I know, double-occults typically only occur with the use of mods and are not common.
If you get a double-occult, it would count toward your score but I would not be surprised if it didn't happen.

By Week 4, Day 1, 8 a.m, my Sim Javon had fathered 44 (non-hybrid) occult babies. He's now having a long lie-down in a darkened room.

Isn't that how he got the 44 kids in the first place? (Or did you just use hot tubs, dumpsters, and closets?  ;) )

Nice job!
