Stocking bar with nectar

I just saw in my game that a sim could stock a bar with nectar. What is the benefit from this (besides being able to serve nectar from the bar)? Does the nectar age more this way?

I doubt the nectar would age more in a bar.  The best place for nectar is in a basement in the expensive nectar rack.

In a selfmade necter rack with Ambitions probably. ;) But besides that about the aging your indeed right.
