Ahh that's better. Nothing like a wide view of a new world involving an empty lot. We all know what an empty lot means. In fact, maybe it's time we meet the new lot owners.


They look confused. Or well, that poor dear does. He's never done an empty lot thing before.


His companion though knows a lot about quite a few things.  In fact, she explains how they were chosen and what they were chosen for.


It's a lot for a newbie. Especially a freshly dead one. He goes to figure things out. At least the view is nice. (Get used to it. You'll see it quite a few times very soon.)


Amelia decides to help him out by making him do his homework then forcing him to go out to eat with her.


He was not impressed with the corner they'd been pushed into when he was used to the large private deck in the back.  But eventually she convinced him that he wanted to do this.


And that's how this story began... though there's not much story to tell. Just a couple of teenagers deciding to pursue some dreams and encouraging the next couple of generations to do the same. All for a mystery reason that we may share before the journey is over. We may...

While you wait for more information. I share with you the funny screenshots I managed during my first two generations.



This is how I knew the game was taunting me for not starting with a red Sim. The nanny I hired to help tutor Adrien in violin was this guy!


Reid was the only Sim to be adopted and he was adopted as soon as Amelia and Adrien were YAs. They had to wait over two weeks before aging up due to having part time jobs that only happened on weekends. This was the longest I would have teens in the house for the rest of the game.


Aww. While Amelia did the adoption, Adrien didn't make her do all the fun stuff.


When Reid aged up to a teen, he had the perfect face for a teenage boy.  He also wasn't sure how he felt about his 'parents' suddenly letting him know they were pregnant.


Adrien & Amelia got their new pets and Reid got his.


Meet Waffles. He's the best boy with a classic Grim makeover.

Amelia: Oh yea.. it was twins.
Adrien: Whaaa?


Two little mint kids enjoying their toddlerhood. Fun fact: It took all but the last two toddlers less than 48 hours (usually around 36) to become Top Notch Toddlers.

As you can guess we met a red guy and he was so cute that we decided to keep him. Meet Fuifui. He stole Astrea's heart and never gave it back.


He's also the father of the second set of twins! The eldest Angela...


And her little brother Thomas. Much squealing was involved with getting a redboo.


In typical Grim fashion though, the moment Thomas had gotten his new elemental girlfriend to move in properly and found out she was red... the aliens showed up.


We all knew something was going on but Thomas seemed to constantly deny it.


Though sometimes even he couldn't.


Just meant he had time to get his collection together - I give you the 30 crafted items collection. Shrunk down to fit in a single picture. That's also Kalama's move-in collection up there on the shelves.

So it was an alien.. Surprise.. not a surprise.
Thomas was the first and only Sim to give birth in a hospital just so I could get the birth certificate and bassinet.


She was immediately aged up into an adorable toddler though!


As a child, she played with a Grim toy and got hit in the eye. Not sure whose fault it was.


This image was purely for the LOLs. I noticed that Angela and Reka seemed to be mirroring each other in a weird way. 


And this is the last toddler picture I took because after this I forgot.  Baby Adrasteia and her Daddy were adorable.

What a striking bunch of sims. Can't wait to read their stories as well! I can't believe it never occurred to me that the Star Wars pack would be worth it due to the fun colors and alien features. I just thought, why would I want this? It's too disjointed from the rest of the game. I'll have to pick it up sometime.

Honestly, Batuu really is kind of separate from the rest of the game. My spellcaster can't even think about magic while away in a galaxy far away. It was fun to play around with and see the storylines (Not to mention fly the millennium falcon). Most of the aliens you meet are just like the movies and I'm not sure how that would work with genetics. I enjoy the pack for its clothes and hairstyles but that's why I like a lot of these things. You get just as many fun colors through mermaids, spellcasters and GTW aliens. Though something about EA coding doesn't really use the fun ones outside of aliens (Star Wars & GTW varieties). That's of course why I use the CC that I use for the red and mint skins plus many of the other fun colors you see in my game.

As for the stories that is coming from this - it's a slower thing sadly. I really wanted to play the game but I'm at a tough spot in my IDC where things get epically boring. Thank you very much for checking in.  This group did turn out really well and Artie in my brain is very upset that Adrien who destroyed the red in his dynasty managed to have more red Sims than him. It's just not fair!

Though if anyone has any questions on how I managed things so quickly - I have no problem offering tips. I streamlined things so quickly that some things were barely a bump in the overall scheme.

How utterly iron that Adrien, the red-wrecker in your Immortal Dynasty would found a Big Dreams Dynasty with so many red sims!
They are a gorgeous bunch and I enjoyed reading the details of how you approached the Big Dreams you chose for them.

That was an amazing speed run!  Both in game time and real life time!
