Oh, yeah. 3 cheers for wealthy Immortal Dynasty Founders!
Thank you! That was a nice bit of luck tough. I didn't even expect her to come with the car, that's why I only checked her inventory the next day. My dear Holly spent her first night as a fiancee sleeping outside, 'à la belle étoile', next to one of the poorest starter shack I have ever built! (But in sight of the wealthy house of her parents, how sadistic)

and then there's a million requirements to remember.
Have I already confessed that I have a little obsession with spreadsheets? *blushing*

Jon Lessen in Riverview is quite a catch if your criteria are rich, single, and 'good traits'.  My sim married him and he came with a fabulous property/furnishings and 4 (yes, 4!!) cars.  The home I'm building for them is only about 75% complete and is already valued around $300k and they still have $150k in cash (I see a vacation home or 2 in their future!)

His traits are Hopeless Romantic, Great Kisser, Virtuoso, Charismatic, Artistic and he comes with level 6 guitar and level 1 charisma.  His LTW is to max both of those skills.  The biggest problem is that he is 13 days from aging to elder, but a couple of well timed tattoos will help in that area (this is not a dynasty or legacy).  Because of his age and the fact that he doesn't bring sculpting, painting, gardening or cooking to the table, he might not be a good choice for a dynasty spouse, but he'd make a great rich roommate!

In my first dynasty attempt, I went with Morgana. I chose her because I pretty much didn't know what the richer peoples traits were like, or what money they bought in.
I think Morgana brought me around 80K when I sold her car, so that was good.
But then trying to get her painting and sculpting skills up before my sim aged up was really hard.

This time around I went with Agnes. Like everyone has said - with new hair she looks pretty.
And when you sell her car, she brings in 108K, which is huge.
It's a lot easier this time around as well because she already has level 8 in painting, so she doesn't have to work on that.
Her cooking skill (level 6) is also really great as well.

The only thing wrong with her is that her traits aren't all that great, especially grumpy. But I guess that can be changed in time.

I actually never got round to changing Agnes traits her loner trait actually came in handy when she was stuck in the house sculpting all day.

Hey guys, so i have two of my sims that i'm playing at the moment.

Firstly is there any other way to find out who's the richest in France (world adventures) other than seeing if they know their rich.....??  Would the easiest way to get that money to marry that person?

also, if I want to play another character in the game... is the only way I can control them if i marry them or is there another way...
Thanks

I'm very proud to say that I'm not a member of the Agnes fan club.  While the Loner trait does help with grinding Dynasty related skills like sculpting, I find her Grumpy trait a bit less than desirable.  When I play her, she always wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.

For rich Sims, Morgana Wolff and Nancy Landgraab are top-shelf picks for me.  And once you yank that bun off her head, Nancy actually looks pretty good.  For a steady income off the bat, you can't beat Jamie Jolina (I don't care what you say, she's one of the better looking adults at the start of the game) because she starts at level 7 of the Medical career, which gives her regular opportunities for overtime!

If you're not looking for money, my favorite pick is Bebe Hart.  At the start of the game, she ages up in 3 days.  Change out those cornrows and she can't be beat.

And I will now share with you all my big secret:  How to gain custody of the expensive car!

You invite the Sim out before you marry them into the family.  You can usually accomplish this by inviting them over to your house, but the Landgraabs and the Altos live too close to the legacy lot...they'll just walk over.  So invite them to a community lot, far away from where they live.  The default dumping zone for the junkyard works exceptionally well for pretty much everyone in town.

Once you've got them far away from home, marry at will.  Return home and enjoy your wedding present from their parents/ex-husband/ex-wife...or sell it to collect your dowry!

Shhhh!  Don't tell anyone else...  :-X

Sunset Valley is a bit too repetitive for my taste. You will find much more interesting, (and nicer) Sims in other towns. Personally, I would go for a more unique spouse if you plan on a dynasty. Sure, Agnes is rich with high cooking and painting, but she's overused. (Not bashing at all, just giving ideas so the poster can expand his/her horizons)

In Riverview:
-Jon Lesson
-Laurel Grisby (she's a great painter who hates the outdoors)
-Jedidiah Wilson

In Appaloosa Planes:
-Gavin Rosendale
-Barrington Diamond (He has level 8 in painting. Wait until his baby with Juanita is born and take the baby with you.)
-Singleton Brothers (Rodney hates the outdoors so you can get him painting without the Stir Crazy moodlet)

In Bridgeport:
-Lola Belle
-Matthew Hemming

You could also go for Union Cove, where most are rich or at least well off.  ;) I happen to know that Panther Character has a very nice turquoise car, worth looking out for.  :P If you're looking for a helper in a Dynasty though Declan Jade comes with Sculpting Skill and is ready to begin Ice Sculptures.

Union Cove is indeed the place to be. Lots of cool houses and venues.

Panther Character is rich and an excellent dynasty spouse!  He is handsome and he is a devoted husband and father.  If you choose him be sure to bring his dog, Pink, with him.  It would be a shame to separate them.

Those of you mentioning Riverview have forgotten one important rich YA potential husband, and my personal favorite (and my founder's spouse):
Billy Caspian! He's not flawless, but he's got some great pros to balance out his cons.
Pro #1: He's single, so you sell his house.
Pro #2: He has a 100k+ car. Nice one, Billy.
Pro #3: He has level 4 painting skill to start off with and the artistic trait.
Pro #4: He's a YA, and pretty early into the stage -- he ended up being 1 day older than my founder, which gave them plenty of time.
Pro #5: He looks great. Nice body and this really unique and interesting hair color. I love his hair, and I'm pretty sure no pre-made human sim has hair quite like it.

Con #1: Since he's inappropriate, you have to really watch your first conversations with him. There actually is a trick to avoiding negative conversations. The moment you see the action in your list that's something you don't want to have happen (arguing, for example), pause the game. Delete the action *before he starts talking*, and then click him to start a new one. If you do it right, you'll never take a relationship hit because of his actions.

In short, I totally like him. He's a little rough around the edges, but very worth it.

Sofia Carlton in Twinbrook - YA with Margaret V.car and LTW fulfilled the moment you sell the car:D (meaning enough LTHP for Midlife Crisis), plus she has a unique beauty.

Jamie Jolina is my favorite Sim that EA ever made. I can't stand the grumpy face, specially after I try so hard to make my Sim happy only to look on that face - no way.

Panther Character is an excellent dynasty spouse!  He is handsome and he is a devoted husband and father.  If you choose him be sure to bring his dog, Pink, with him.  It would be a shame to separate them.
I just read trough you decadynasty and he shore does pass great genes, not to mention how helpful his skills are! Rob Kennedy is rich and single, as are Thorton, Silva and Jones - all rich single girls living alone in mansions!
It was hard but I chose not to use my Angela Buznik in a dynasty I started in UC. I chose Pru Dent and they started off very very poor(comparing to all the counted Sims). Still, good strategy brought money soon into the household, plus, at the begining, focus is on targeted skilling so having expencive stuff around without time to use them is distractive. They now have more than 100.000 in total and no TV on the lot :D

I think both. Though I was wondering if this topic was getting a bit off or not.
