Party fail or not (above question), my time is up. This was my very first tournament here and I enjoyed every minute of it!

My final score (total profit) is:

$57,101

Grats on being the first to post a score, Mionax. The fact that 3 out of 5 unique Sims showed up is out of your hands, so, no -- it's not a fail.

I think we have a misunderstanding - you do need to have 5 Sims at your party. The more you invite, the more likely you will get 5. If you don't get 5 unique Sims, then you would need to do the party over. But when you hit the end of the game (3rd Sunday 8am) then you use the current value of the house you are in as the selling price for that house.

If you ended in that same house, then your score wouldn't change, but if you moved to a new house and started improving it, that would not be within the rules. Since you finished before Metro posted his answer, it sounds like his answer didn't change anything about your game.

Please let us know if the house you referenced, where you held the party with only 3 Sims, was your last house. If so, you are fine,  but if you went on, and included another house in your score then unfortunately we would have to post you as DNF. However, if you have a save file from that house, we are okay with you going back to that save file and continuing forward to complete the challenge that wasy

My party fail was in the last house. I did not have time to meet more Sims and host another party. I figured I would have to so did not move on. It was Saturday Evening. Thanks for the clarification.

Dangit!! Put me down as a DNF, please. I forgot the rule about having an empty inventory when moving from house to house, and kept some things I had listed on Plopsy. I think I did it for two moves, so can't really go back to a previous save.

Just completed the 2 whole game weeks.
Having added the current value of current house (with collectable, fish, woodwork, painting & before photo but no party) the spreadsheet gives my total profit as:
$170,835

It was a lot of fun - short and sweet - a nice break from my dynasty attempts.

Put me as DNF please. I forgot to take a before photo and don't have a previous save. Thank you @GlazeyLady for answering my questions so quickly.

- Does the next lot have to be more expensive than the previous one?
- What is considered a unique collectible? A unique collectible from the unique collection, or just a unique collectable item regardless of collections?

There is no rule regarding price of the next lot. Unique means one you haven’t left before.

Since one of the requirements Glazey has us all do is leave behind a large painting, it was a nice excuse to make my favorite Sim, Frank Frazetta. Had lots of fun with this challenge.

Final total profit = 254,478

Bergholt Stuttley Johnson has spent 1.5 weeks "improving"(*) properties in the Sims 4 universe.

He has managed to make $851,559 total profit in that time.

*Whether his changes can actually be considered an improvement (other than the increased lot value) is extremely debatable... Residents of Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, etc will probably be very confused by his design choices for many years to come. ::)

I'm not feeling well enough to finish this today, so I'm going with what I have now at the middle of week 2: $346,075.

Great score Jesslc!
