In practice I've managed to forgot to select 'sell furniture' one time. And on another occasion I forgot to sell off the reward for a silver medal party before moving and only realised when I went to get my handiness workbench out of my family inventory at the next lot and saw the reward there too.

Given this was just practice, I just sold anything I accidentally kept straight away then kept practicing, but what should we do if this happens in our real file? Do we fail the challenge or can we fix it?

Get permission from the team to go back to a previous save would be my recommendation.

How do we determine what is week 3, day 1? I haven't done a Sims 4 challenge here yet and want to make sure I'm counting correctly. Would the first day be week 1, day 1? Or is there someone to track that in the game that I've been missing?

Excited to join in this challenge!

The first day will be a Sunday, and that counts as the first Sunday, and that will be week 1, day 1 - so Week 3 day 1 will be 8am on the third Sunday. That will be two full weeks of gameplay. (Sim time)

Just a quick clarification - I've never played a house flipper challenge before - our income should only be from the house-flipping itself and from collectibles/crafted items, correct? No careers, Plopsy/retail sales, etc?

No restrictions on how you make income (except no cheats of course).

My Sim got a free earbuds. Do I have to sell those too, as they are not in the list of things I can  take to the next house?

I don't know of a way to sell those - I know you can't sell them from personal inventory. You can Place in World somewhere off lot, or just keep them in your inventory.

Once you place them in the world, you can sell them from build mode. Thanks for the quick answer.

If you turn on Multiselect, it allows you to sell a lot of things from personal inventory that it normally won't. The earbuds, potions from the kids' science table... I'm not thinking of any other examples off the top of my head, but it can be really useful if you're a clean-inventory obsessive like me!

Thank you for the info - I didn't realize that. In that case, you should sell them.

Is it a party fail if only 3 of the 5 unique Sims you invited, show up? Regardless of end score? I had 3 show up and achieved a silver score. Does it count?

Party fail or not (above question), my time is up. This was my very first tournament here and I enjoyed every minute of it!

My final score (total profit) is:

$57,101

Grats on being the first to post a score, Mionax. The fact that 3 out of 5 unique Sims showed up is out of your hands, so, no -- it's not a fail.

I think we have a misunderstanding - you do need to have 5 Sims at your party. The more you invite, the more likely you will get 5. If you don't get 5 unique Sims, then you would need to do the party over. But when you hit the end of the game (3rd Sunday 8am) then you use the current value of the house you are in as the selling price for that house.

If you ended in that same house, then your score wouldn't change, but if you moved to a new house and started improving it, that would not be within the rules. Since you finished before Metro posted his answer, it sounds like his answer didn't change anything about your game.

Please let us know if the house you referenced, where you held the party with only 3 Sims, was your last house. If so, you are fine,  but if you went on, and included another house in your score then unfortunately we would have to post you as DNF. However, if you have a save file from that house, we are okay with you going back to that save file and continuing forward to complete the challenge that wasy
