Yumeno Big Dreams 5.24a: Two Birthdays, a Marriage, and an Engagement (2 Feb)

5.24a: Two Birthdays, a Marriage, and an Engagement

Week 24, Sunday (4th week of summer)
Taye: Here you go, Aphrodite Olympus!
Malcolm Landgraab, Johnny Z, and Daiki Ono are vampires no more.
Say thank you, boys! I just reset your age to Day 1 of your life stage.

Monday
Taye: We're presently a household of 5 young adults and 2 teens.
But Yuki and Bernard won't be teens much longer.  From left to right:
Bernard, Rei & me, Leonardo & Edward, Mama Ae-Cha, and the Gen6 heir Yukihira.

After visiting the elders in Sulani, I invite my father-in-law and Rei's grandparents.
Bernard gives them his last three sculpture and he's ready to age up!

Tonight, I co-host a dinner party with Yuki so I can invite some folks I want him to meet.
I think Daiki (left) or Rohan (right) would be great spouse material for my unborn grand-daughter
They each have one undesirable trait and small eyes, but I like their looks otherwise.
I particularly like Daiki's mixologist job and Rohan's darker complexion.
Yuki complains that he's never even been kissed yet, but it's never too early for the spouse hunt!

Yuki stops whining when he meets another of my ex-offspring for the second time: Morgan Fyres.
She's a young adult and he's still in high school, but they hit it off like fireworks.
My son lays on the charm and, before you can blink, they're BFFs.

Rohan, you need to move your plate elsewhere.
Morgan might be your future mother-in-law.
But even if she's not, you're behaving extremely inappropriately!

Tuesday
Today, for the very first time, Rei and I decide not to work from home.
It turns out to be a terrible decision.  What am I wearing? What is this awful mask?
Rei, my lovely wife, why are you dressed so strangely?

A certain young lady from Willow Creek has Leonardo wrapped around her little finger.
Her name's Olivia and, luckily for our son, she's still a young adult.

Leo's still far from becoming an Artistic Genius.
To be on the safe side, he gives Olivia a Potion of Rejuvenation.
That should hold her until he's ready to move out.

This evening, Rei maxes her career and fulfills her Big Dream!
After she phones in to resign, both of us rush off to change our clothes.

Today's becoming a real action-packed day eh?
Yuki maxes his Fast Food career tonight then ages up.
Wait till Morgan hears that they're both young adults now.

After that, Leo and Olivia get married in our backyard.
Our second son, Edward, is busy collecting bugs and fish.
So, Yuki will definitely be our next son to marry. I hope that happens this week!

Wednesday
Poor Edward! For some reason, we'd assumed his career had five levels.
In fact, he'd already maxed it last week.
Oh well, here's a nice shot of him catching a Yellow Perch from our pond.

You might have wondered why Edward hasn't been working about his collections lately.
Well, ever since Granite Falls, he's been focused on becoming an Adept Spellcaster.
He achieves his goal around 5 pm today.  Nice work, son!
And nice job on training Edward, Mama Ae-Cha!

Mama Ae-Cha figures she's lived apart from her husband Kiyoshi long enough and moves out.
Of course, the other reason she moved is to make room in the house for Yukihira's sake.
He's got his heart set on Morgan and now our household has two openings.

Meanwhile, Edward hits the sack early, hoping to get a full night's sleep in a tent.

Leonard (left) has completed his painting collection worth $25,000..
And Bernard (right) is knitting decorations for our home.
Neither of them will be done anytime soon.
Leonardo's Artistic Genius seems much easier than Bernard's Creative Artisan.

After the pipe organ and piano, I max my third instrument tonight: guitar.
I'm preparing for Morgan to join our household soon.

Rei: I don't know what I've been doing while Taye's been focused on maxing skills.
At this rate, Watcher might decide to move me out while Taye stays in the house.
Maybe I can just ask Taye to mentor me in all the skills that he's maxed?

Morgan: Oh yes, I'd be delighted to marry you, Yuki.
Yuki: As much as I'd love for you to move in tonight, I'd like us to have a real wedding.
Morgan: My thoughts exactly!
Yuki: Until tomorrow morning, then? *sends Morgan home

Yuki: Thank you for coming all this way on such short notice, Joanna Liu.
Joanna: Oh my, is this lovely present for me? You shouldn't have, dear boy,
Whatever could it be? It's a beautiful arrangement of flowers!

Joanna: Arrggh, I can't breathe! I'm too weak to stand. *takes pulse
I must be dying!  What was in that flower arrangement?!
Yuki: It was an arrangement of pink orchids (scented with a Death Flower).

Grim Reaper: Seriously, Yuki? You killed that ole lady to chat about grilled cheese sammies?!
Yuki: Not with just anyone, Grim. I wanted to chat with you.
Grim: You know your father and I are good friends, right?
Yuki: Really? So if he'd have phoned you, you would have come over?
Grim: Um, no.

Bernard: Dude, wasn't that the Hermit of Granite Falls?
Yuki: Yes, but I couldn't help it. I only knew 2 elders and the other was the Sage of Practical Magic.
Bernard: Edward is gonna be so mad.
Yuki: Not if he doesn't know. That's why I waited until he went to bed, uh, tent…

Progress: End of Week 23, Year 2
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

NOTES
*The seventh generation: I'm usually really impatient to get the next generation underway.
Once Morgan moves in, I'd like to give Morgan several days to get started on her requirements.
On the other hand, there's only room for one child at present.
Maybe Morgan could have a single child, who would be raised by Yuki's parents.  I can't decide.

Thanks for curing Malcolm. Aphie is very grateful!
So much forward planning - finding a spouse for an unborn granddaughter! Morgan will be eating strawberries then! She'll make lovely babies with Yuki although they may be red-haired and green-eyed. Wow - so Rohan or Daiki will bring in the final gen. You're so close to the end!
The work clothes for the Trendsetter career are hilarious. I'm half-tempted to send Aphie to work every time just to see what she wears. Her current outfit involves a weird turban - more like the sort you do with a towel when your long hair is wet than a proper one.

Since there's only one more spouse to move in, we've pretty much decided on Daiki or Rohan.
Thanks to Love 'Em and Taken 'Em, we got to meet a large segment of the simverse population, lol.
Then, turning a sim into a vampire resets a sim's life stage, so Taye turned a few choice townies and the rest were either neighbors or walk-bys.
We've had our eye on Morgan, though, since the Gen3 heir Mark McSteamy first gave her a Potion of Rejuvenation. :D

Haha, don't say that about Morgan's red hair and green eyes.  :o
I really don't want a big seventh generation.  Ideally, just 3 kids plus a spouse.
*Crosses fingers

Yumeno Big Dreams 5.24b: A Colloquy on Collecting
« Reply #169 on: February 05, 2022, 12:57:41 AM »
Disclaimer:
This episode centers largely on Edward and his collecting activities, so you might find it boring.
However, Edward is very proud of his accomplishments and insisted that I include every screenshot depicting his glorious success
To be honest, I'm quite proud of Edward, too. I'd initially feared that he might be forced to stay in the dynasty house until I either failed or finished this challenge.

5.24b: Colloquy on Collecting

Week 24, Thursday (4th week of summer)
Rei: Our next heir Yuki is chomping at the bit to marry Morgan.
But there's a few things we need to do first.
First, we wait until Taye earns his last promotion.
He's the last of our sixth generation to achieve his Big Dream: Vampire Monarch.

Next, Leonard needs to view paintings at the Willow Creek Art Museum.

Incidentally, being founder or heir in the Yumeno Dynasty is no walk in the park.
First, they must bring in the next generation and learn skills to train them.
They must not only achieve their Big Dream but also become a Virtuoso spellcaster.
At this point, Yuki's only an Acolyte warlock so I give him magical training whenever he asks.

As soon as Leo gets off work, Yuki phones in a wedding.
It's a lovely wedding.
Taye and I feel confident that Yuki and Morgan will be very happy together.

The wedding party is going perfectly until Yuki cuts the wedding cake.
Confusing it with a birthday party, my boys start blowing horns raucously.
I guess they're just happy for Yuki?

We return home in the early evening, a household of seven sims. From left to right:
Me, Yuki & Morgan, twins Leo & Edward, my hubby Taye, and Yuki's twin Bernard

Only Yuki and Morgan work tomorrow, so we're all off to Granite Falls!

Edward: My last visit, I made a list of all the insects displayed in the Ranger Station.
There are four here that I still don't have.
I cast a Burgliate spell to nick the Walking Stick, but the spell has a cooldown.
So, I cast a CopyPasto on the Monarch Butterfly.

I learn that the Walking Stick counts toward my collection, but not the Monarch Butterfly.
Fine, I'll just need to visit the Ranger Station several more times.

My second reason for coming to the National Forest area is the Dust Sprites.
Apparently, there are two spots where they tend to appear.

Meanwhile, Yuki and Morgan go on a handful of dates.
Those two are in a world of their own tonight!

Stubbornly, I keep checking the same two spots for those frisky little critters.
I can visit the Ranger Station anytime, but Dust Sprites only come out at night.
Finally, I spot a few behind that fishing spot near the waterfall. What luck!
Time to return to our lodgings.  My tent calls to me!

Yuki (to himself): I'm so nervous. I've never kissed anyone but Morgan and now this!
Morgan (to herself): I'm a little scared. Yuki was my first kiss…

Yuki: We don't have to try for baby right away, you know. There's no rush, Morgan.
Morgan: I know, but don't you want to have a child together? I do!

Friday
Morgan: I didn't manage to conceive last night, so we tried again this morning.
This time, my pregnancy test gives a positive.
Looks like I'll be going into labor on Monday morning!

Taye: Leo becomes a Painter Extraordinaire while we're waiting on Edward.
Looks like Leo will be the first one to move out.

Edward: I was so close to getting a full night's sleep in the tent.
Then Mama decides to relax in my tent, waking me up too early.  Grrr.
Watcher: Rei, you're on permanent garden duty as long as you living in the dynasty house!!

Edward: I'm having phenomenal luck with collecting insects this trip!
At the National Park, I burgliate a Monarch Butterfly from the Ranger Station.
Later, I find the Dragon Dragonfly near the waterfall.
My collection's only missing three insects!

In the Deep Forest, I'm super lucky to catch some Jewel Beetles after an hour or so.
Blue Morpho Butterflies appear only after I caught Lunar Moths in the same spot earlier.

Finally, I return to the Ranger Station and burgliate the Fire Ant.
I'd caught all five fish unique to Granite Falls already.
So as soon as I get the Fire Ant, I earn the Critter Catcher acheevo, too.
The hardest part of my Big Dream is now behind me! Time to end this vacay!

Back home, our first stop is Forgotten Hollow.
There, the first fish I catch is the Vampire Squid.
My parents complain that we're leaving before they could catch a single fish.
Onward to Desert Bloom Park, where Morgan can play for tips!

After fishing here six hours, I catch both a Red-Tailed Black Shark and (finally) a Piranha.
My fish collection's missing two fish that can only be caught elsewhere.
But I'm both hungry and tired. There's always tomorrow!

Saturday
Edward: You only entered your second trimester a few hours ago.
Is it normal for you to be so, um, big already?
Morgan: I feel quite fine, but thanks for your concern. *eats another carrot
Edward: Carrots? I thought the next heir would be my niece.
Morgan: Ideally, we would have a son first, followed by twin girls.

Edward: We arrive at the Forgotten Grotto around 3 pm.
You know that saying "Idle hands are the devil's workshop"?
Our watcher takes that saying much too literally.
She's made Bernard buy a camping chair so he can continue knitting in the Grotto.

I came here, instead of Sylvan Glade, in hope of catching an Angler Fish and a Wolf Eel.
But it takes me eight hours to catch an Angler Fish.  Eight hours!
Time for some well-deserved sleep!

Week 25, Sunday
Right after breakfast, I head for the lake in Old New Henford.
I remember Founder Tao mentioning that he once caught a Wolf Eel in this lake.
And so do I, completing my fish collection. *pumps fist
Another night or two in the tent and I'll be done!
I'm going to insist on a real vacay, even for one day, before I move out!

Progress: End of Week 24, Year 2
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

NOTES
*The Ranger Station in Granite Falls' National Park: I'd planned for years to try to complete the insects collection by having a klepto sim nick all the insects on display at the Ranger Station.
But I'd never actually had the chance nor ever tried to collect all the insects.
I initially considered re-traiting Edward with the Klepto trait then realized that, since he's a caster, he could raise his magic rank and learn the Burgliate spell instead.
Apparently, the spell works exactly like a klepto's swiping, except that Burgliate's cooldown doesn't vary with the nicked item's value (although I did not test this; it's just "readsay.").

*Edward's collections:
Insects: Edward caught 18 himself then magically nicked 3.
Fish: As you know, our sims can't "Fish with bait" from a pond we build.
He repeatedly restocked the home pond with previously-caught fish, catching many no-bait fish there.
Any fish requiring bait and previously-uncaught fish were caught where they spawned.
Still much easier than collecting insects! And waaay more easier on the eyes!

*Perfect genetics:
If none of the first three Gen7 kids have white hair/violet eyes, I might cheat by picking an heir and using Change Sim.
Alternatively, Yuki & Morgan could have four kids, with the heir not moving in a spouse.
For Gen8, it doesn't matter how many kids there are; only one of them needs to realize their Big Dream for this dynasty challenge to be complete.
We shall see how things turn out.

Congratulations to Edward. That insect collection is a challenge! And he's already got the Tastes Like Burning. Artemis left that to do all in one go which was a silly idea.

Yuki & Morgan are really cute together. Which reminds me - I bumped into my friend Yuki this week but totally forgot to ask her full name! We're meeting again next month so I must remember!

Regarding Tastes Like Burning, I was going to space it out but ended up eating Toxic Chamomile before Edward went to tent, then consecutively eating the other four after he woke up.
I could have spaced it out but kept forgetting to move the herbs back into his inventory.

As for Yuki & Morgan, they have a 50/50 chance of a green-eyed redhead, right? I already did a legacy challenge with that combo!

I haven't worked out if Sims have recessive genes or if some characteristics have more weight than others... If it's even on all counts, I think the stats work that you have a 1 in 4 chance of getting a particular combination. I like maths but never really got my head round statistics properly but I think over many generations, if your white-haired, violet-eyed heirs always combine with a non-white-haired, non-violet-eyed mate, a quarter of all progeny should have the desired colouring.

If you sometimes get a colouring in-between the two parents, that would throw the stats off. That seems to happen with skin-tone but I've not noticed it with eye & hair colouring.

Oh you're right about the 25% probability! I wasn't thinking!
There'd be violet eyes/white hair, violet eyes/red hair, green eyes/white hair, and green eyes/red hair.
And then there's that weird thing with the new eye colors added by EA (Patch 5) with shared values.
That is, purple eyes and amber eyes share the same value, so a purple-eyed parent can produce an amber-eyed child.  I need to google to check exactly what color that is.

Edited to add: I finally found the amber eye color. In fact, it's right next to the more pronounced violet color and I'd been counting them both as "violet" for the purpose of choosing the heir.
When I hear the word "amber," I envision whale ambergris so was envisioning a more golden color but it looks (to me) like more of a purplish-red. Oh well.
Apparently, if a child inherits the eye color of their purple-eyed parent, there's a 50/50 chance that the child's eyes will be violet or amber.

The same is true for the other four pairs of eye colors, each pair sharing the same value.

Yumeno Big Dreams 6.25a: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (7 Feb)
« Reply #175 on: February 07, 2022, 03:53:04 PM »
6.25a: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

Week 25, Sunday (1st week of autumn)
Yuki: It's official! Mama Rei has stepped down as our dynasty's active heir.
That's right. She's handed the dynasty's reins to yours truly!
It's great that we have such a well-stocked library of magical tomes!
I won't need to visit the Magic HQ until I reach the Master rank.

Edward is nearly done with this Big Dream!
Papa says if Edward's only cooking and sleeping, he might as well seek a wife, too.
Leonardo promises to write a Book of Life for Morgan, me, and all of our kids.
Oh and look at the table lamp that Bernard fabricated for Leo!

Speaking of fabrication, Bernard could only craft 13 furniture pieces by woodworking and knitting.
So he took out the fabrication machine to craft Leo's lamp and an outdoor chair.
He really needs to get started on his Freelancer gigs!

Meanwhile, Papa mentors Morgan in guitar and piano.
She's so big now, she can barely see her hands to form chords, she says.

Lately, Mama's perma-gardener punishment has been augmented by two more duties.
One, she must go on space missions until she acquires a UFO plant.
And, two, she must also complete our Space Rock collection

You will not believe what happens on Mama's second space mission today.
She meets the Green Man, chooses the swamps instead of the jungle, and defeats the Green Man!

Founder Tao completed the 32-plant base game Gardening collection in his first summer, except for the UFO plant.
Looks like that will be Morgan's move-in collection. Sweet!

You know, I thought Mama had redeemed herself with the UFO plant.
But she's still on perma-gardening duty.
On the other hand, Papa can do no wrong. I must ask Papa for his secret.

Monday
Morgan gives birth to a little boy this morning.
She's busy writing her first song so I'm the one who feeds and ages him up.

We've named him Cloud, after the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII.
Watcher first played FF VII in Japanese while living in Tokyo.
She's yet to play the 2020 English remake, though. Have (or will) you?

The game's protagonist, Cloud Strife, is a valiant, heroic character.
We're hoping our son lives up to his name!

Here's a shot of the whole family. From left to right:
Mama Rei, me (Yuki), Edward, Morgan & Cloud, Leo, Papa Taye, and my twin Bernard.
Cloud has violet eyes and his blond hair isn't quite as yellow as his namesake's.

Edward: I've maxed cooking and only need another night's sleep in the tent.
So I decide to pitch in with Papa's Patriarch project.
I randomly pick Elsa Bjergsen out of our simverse's single young adults.
Though we have little in common, we get along surprisingly well.

Later that evening…
In fact, I'd planned to move in with Leo & Olivia to lead a carefree bachelor's life.
But it seems I'll be settling down with Elsa on Windenburg Island instead.
It will be a great place for Elsa and I to raise our child(ren).
You're surely thinking this is all extremely rushed, but I move out soon, remember?

Tuesday
Yuki: I'd really love to introduce Cloud to the rest of the family.
Especially the founders in Sulani and our family across the street.
But we can't budge today until Edward's had a full night's rest in the tent.

And here's our man, looking like he just fulfilled his Big Dream.
Because…he has!
Bro, Leo and Morgan work today so we can't take that vacay we talked about.
But let's spend the day in Sulani. Be sure to invite Elsa along, too!

It's always nice to visit the founders at their Key Point home in Sulani.

Both Mama and Edward moved out before we arrived here.
Tired of space missions, Mama lives just across the street at Granada Place.
As he'd mentioned earlier, Edward now lives in Windenburg.

Yuki: Let's go over to the waterfall and try for baby there.
Morgan: Easy for you to say! You can teleport but I'd have to swim there and back.
Yuki: Then what?  The shower? I have a tent…
Morgan: This observatory will do just fine. C'mon, Yuki!

Yuki: This is an odd shot, but Papa catches me off guard.
As a vampire, he has a power to instantaneously teleport in mist form.
Well, when Cloud asks Grandpa Taye for help with shapes, Grandpa picks him up.
Then they teleport together in mist form over to the blocks.
I know he never did that with me! I confess I'm a little envious…

Wednesday
Where, I wonder, does Cloud get his round face?
Are his plump cheeks just temporary baby fat?

Since yesterday, I have three days off in a row.
But I can't learn food stall recipes due to our toddler and our work schedules.
So, Papa suggests that I invite Founder Tao over to mentor me in writing.
With more toddlers incoming, wouldn't it be easier to write 3 bestseller cookbooks?
Or should I just wait until they're older? *scratches chin

And here's a lovely shot of my wife Morgan, working on her second composition.
Writing a song takes practically all day.
She's hoping to write her four required songs before she gives birth on Friday.
That's why Papa Taye and I are the ones raising Cloud so far.

One last shot of Cloud as a toddler!

Cloud: Could you let me win, Mama? I'm just a kid!
Morgan: Well, I have Logic 4. Maybe play against your future classmates?
Cloud: And what's with my hair? I don't look like Cloud at all.
Morgan: I can't really say, dear. I'm not the one in charge of custom content.

Thursday
Morgan: I'm licensing my second song this morning.
If I'm really lucky, I might finish writing my third song before tomorrow afternoon. Highly doubtful, though.
Considering I work full-time, I guess I'm lucky to have written even two songs.

Yuki: There goes Cloud on his way to his first day of school!
Be sure to make some friends with weak Logic skill, son!

Cloud: Just one question, Papa.  Where is my silver lining?

PROGRESS: Middle of Week 25, Year 2
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

NOTES
*Bernard: He's carefully selecting his Freelancer gigs with Electrified Artists.
It's hard to tell, but the gigs without a client meeting are quick to complete.
Getting drawings approved is immediate but a meeting takes around 5-1/2 hours.

*Lord of the Knits: The "Complete 10 excellent knittables" task is annoying.
Bestselling Author's "Write 5 excellent books" tasks counts bestsellers, too.
But the "Complete 10 excellent knittables" task doesn't count  legendary items.
Haha, am I the only one who's bothered by this?

6.25b: Patchy Must Pay!

Week 25, Thursday (1st week of autumn)
Had you noticed that Mama moved out Tuesday without completing the Space Rocks collection?
I sure did.
I'm happy to say that I find the fourth space rock while working on Nerd brain. Go me!

Bernard has been blasting through his Electrified Artists gigs like a champ.
He's easily distracted, but I'm sure he'll finish his required 25 gigs this week.
Then, he goes back to his dreaded knitting aspiration.

Yuki: Oh, you're Malcolm, my father's former offspring. What can I do for you?
Malcolm: Your father told me to stop by one day and introduce myself to you.
Y: Great timing, Mal. I'll be contacting you before winter's over, I imagine. Wait, you're an adult already?
M: I was already an adult when your father turned me.
Y: Here, drink this so you'll still be an adult when we meet next.
M: Thanks, Yuki. See you around.

Leo will definitely achieve his Big Dream next week.
All he needs is two bestselling novels and his last promotion.
He's promised to stay, however, until the Gen7 kids are all children.
I'd like him to write Books of Life for us all.

Morgan asks Papa for a fertility massage, which reminds me: I should learn Wellness, too!
My three days off have been great for raising Cloud and skilling.
But I'm eager to get back to work. Morgan's two levels ahead of  me now.

Here we are, with Morgan in her third trimester! From left to right:
Bernard, Papa Taye, Leonardo, Morgan, me (Yuki), and our son Cloud.

Friday
For Metro's sake, Morgan! Stop flirting with the UFO plant and harvest it!
There! You've completed your move-in collection.

Morgan's taking family leave today, which is great.
If she has twins, she can help Papa Taye look after them (for a change).
By the way, she licensed her 3rd song today in the Portable Keyboard category.
She's composing on the piano now to see if Piano songs form a separate category.

Papa encounters two new bunnies in our garden, but they're a weird color.
Or is that because they're in the shade?
I believe it's time to stash the rabbit home, don't you?

Taye: Today I discover that I'm no longer Watcher's favorite.
It has to do with the "Wear costumes" holiday tradition.
With costumes, Watcher's favorite always becomes an Interstellar Smuggler.
Today, I'm dressed in her second-fave male costume: Space Ranger.

It's my son Yuki who now dresses as an Interstellar Smuggler.
I'm fine with that and realize it's the natural order of things.
After all, Yuki's the one who'll navigate this dynasty to the finish line. *Crosses fingers

Yuki: Darn it, Patchy! Why'd you go and water that Catnip?
Can't you see I'm trying to water 10 plants for Freelance Botanist?
I guess I need to teach you a lesson. *blasts Patchy with the Inferniate spell

Morgan: Yuki, I can't wait any longer!
Are you coming with me to the hospital or not?

Awhile later…
Morgan: I gave birth to two…
Yuki: It's not over yet, Patchy! You're lucky I have to go to work now. *blasts Patchy with Inferniate

Morgan: As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, I gave birth to twin girls.
Sadly for Yuki, they both have my green eyes.
Ada is named after Ada Lovelace, whose name you might recognize.
And her sister's named Kim because Watcher modeled her Big Dream after that notorious "celebrity," you-know-who.

Morgan: You probably think I'm a horrible mother, leaving all the childcare to Yuki and Papa Taye.
But they both say it's fine for me to focus on my aspirations.
Once I finish this 4th song, we're going to visit Mama Reiko.

Saturday
Morgan: When taking Ada for potty training, I notice that she's Very Angry.
I'm not sure what her problem is, but I try to comfort her.

Imagine my shock when she refuses several times to let me hold her.
When I check her profile, I discover that I've hurt Ada's feelings somehow.
Moreover, we're not even friends anymore. How can I fix our relationship?
Ada offers me no option to apologize, so I'll slowly try to befriend her again.

Yuki: Sorry for the toddler spam, but the girls are just so cute.
And look! They both inherited my pointy ears!

Tonight, I reach the final spellcaster rank. I'm a Virtuoso!
We need to find time to visit Magic HQ so I can learn my Ultimate spells.

Week 26, Sunday
Yuki: Cloud finally wins a game against Bernard, who needs to be knitting!
With the lack of signals for consecutive wins, I guess he needs to alternate games.

Cloud, I think you're better off being a Genius than Cheerful.
Also, if our 4th try doesn't produce a daughter with perfect genetics, you're the heir!

PROGRESS: End of Week 25, Year 2
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

NOTES
*Bernard's gigs: We were lucky to finish his Electrified Artists gigs so quickly.
Speed is not a benefit if the household's struggling for cash, but ours isn't.
Out of 25 gigs, only three of Bernard's gigs required meeting with the client. Yay!

*Ada & Morgan: I have no idea why Ada feels hurt toward Morgan.
It's not that issue with the Festival of Youth, which always offers the Apologize option.
This is a first for me. Can Morgan apologize once they're friends again?

*(Im)perfect genetics: We'll be rushing Bernard out the door, lol.
There's a very small chance that the 4th child might be the heir (like Ae-Cha).
In a copy of my "official save," I used Genetics to randomize Yuki/Morgan's girls.
The occurrence of a light-haired girl with violet eyes was less than 1 in 8. *sighs
I'm pretty sure Cloud will end up the heir, though I'd wanted a female heir.

*Winning games: This is a serious pain to track. I wish we had a counter.
