Demi: I’m through with all that player stuff. Nanami & I are Soulmates – or we’re getting there at any rate…

Polly: OK, yes we are moving today. We definitely need to now. That pokey room at the top is not a long-term solution.

Polly: Cute! We need a few house rules…no swiping things or being mean in this house.
Nanami: I’m not sure I’ll be able to stop myself…
Polly: Mia has got you this potion – a re-traiting potion. If you drink this, it’ll help you be a bit nicer.

Although Demi had exchanged promise rings with Miki as teens, it was always bad-girl Nanami he was drawn to. I shamelessly aged her up with Mia’s birthday cake so she and Demi could sneak off on his final Serial Romantic gold date. I’m hoping she’ll do a degree but her skills are so low that she didn’t get accepted straight off.

I think a natural outcome of re-traiting someone would be to give them an erratic personality, especially going from mean to cheerful. Nanami has got 2 sets of clothing to go with her personality – a pink/white version and a red/black version. I thought about keeping Nanami’s Kleptomania but decided the household would fall apart! I think it’s fairly obvious what her big dream is… I've come across 3 Nanami's in the game now...!

I’ve now only put down Mia’s aspirations, etc that are needed for her Big Dream. It’s not surprising that no-one’s got it. In some ways it’s quite a vague Dream.

So in the end it's Nanami for the win! And Dark Lord for her - what a great idea - the child/teen requirements there are tough - getting negative traits is much harder than positive ones. What fun it will be watching her as she goes through that Big Dream!

I agree with GlazeyLady about feeling fortunate that you love storytelling with your sims!
Regarding baby-making in a forum dynasty, some dynasties have rules about which sim will be the heir but the Big Dream Dynasty does not.
From Gen2 onward, we are mainly limited by household space. 
In my BDD, I'm currently going with the "single heir" approach to see how long I can keep the violet eyes going.  But I may change my mind, haha.

Nothing shameful at all about caking up a townie to match your sim's age. I'm sure we'll all do it at some point or another.

One of the goals of this Dynasty during it's creation was to let players play the way they want to play - including having whatever kind of family units they want. The only restriction we put on that was that the founders need to be a couple, founding the dynasty together.

I'm not sure either how I'll continue - I'd like to have more than one of the 2nd gen kids go on to have babies . . . but like @oshizu said, space in the house limits us, especially when I don't want to lose my founders from the household I'm playing any sooner than necessary. In fact, @oshizu and I have been kicking around a rotational version of this dynasty - so you could have the kids move to separate households and you rotate from one household to another playing them. That would remove the household size restriction. We may add that at some point, but thought we'd give ourselves and other players a chance to get through this version first.

Nana should probably have eaten some carrots. The full name of Puck in the play is Robin Goodfellow – hence our little gen 3 girl having a somewhat adapted name. I realise it’s a clumsy device but Nana’s firstborn really had to be Puck!  She has clearly achieved nothing in her short life however, unless you don’t know A Midsummer Night’s Dream at all, you should be able to guess her Big Dream.

Villainous Valentine has opened up as an aspiration for Nana – I’ve not seen that before.

I’d not really planned for gen 3 to start – I think I’ve bitten off more than I can chew – I need more coffee to get through this – just like my student sims!

This episode seems to be mainly about Nana. The other household members think she’s my favourite but they’re so busy with uni work and homework/study shots are a little dull.

Shakespeare's Puck is a trickster, so my vote goes to Mischief Maker! As for Puck's gender, there's no rule against changing Robyn's gender as a toddler and renaming them Robyn Goodfellow, if you wish. 

Also, I like that you showered Nanami with attention this episode.  She deserves some love and she's tackling a difficult BD.  666 whims don't complete themselves, haha.

Well, what did you expect? 4 Sims doing 4 courses each at uni and a toddler in the house! This week has been full-on so it’s no surprise that I only got 4 screenshots.

Puck is, of course, a Mischief Maker (thanks @oshizu).
Letting a toddler make messes and only use her nappy does not make her happy. She gets nappy rash really quickly and the full mess animation takes a while so there’s not much time to do much else before she’s hungry & sleepy! I haven’t changed her outfits or hair – she came that cute!

Not much Big Dream progress in this week for anyone but it was only right to have a dramatic close to the first year.

Those familiar with the Internet Celeb Big Dream will have foreseen Nell’s runaway bride act. I’m hoping she’ll rally. I don’t think Sergio is very devastated.

I miss playing with Polly in the house but Theo often invites her to sleepover.

I had a lot of fun with the wedding scene. More fun because I wanted specific shots for this story rather than just ticking a box. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Puck: I aged up with a very masculine hairstyle but Mum got me a makeover and this flower barrette which makes everyone think I’m cute! He he! The rest of my clothes are quirky but I can carry them off!

Mia: Oh my life! Nana! I know I said you needed to get right down to basics with your studying, but that’s not what I meant?
Nana: But it’s so warm. I thought this would be cool…

Theo: Um – we need to be careful how we shorten that name!

Sergio: I got your text.
Nell: I didn’t think you’d come.
Sergio: We made a new life together. How could I not come and meet him – her?

Sandy: Um – the mortar boards aren’t coming back down. Will we still get our deposit back? And do you have any medicine for this rash?

Nell: Aren’t you the cutest in your woolly hat. I guess it is Autumn and getting cooler.
Tania: Mummy! I love you so much already.

Sandy: There’s a lot of women upstairs now.
Demi: Yes – a lot of complicated stuff going on
Sandy: Congratulations on getting that doctors post. I can’t believe they want you to deliver a baby as the first thing you do!
Demi: I’ve read a book on how to do it. How hard can it be? Have you looked for a post?
Sandy: I did, but I’m committed to do a couple more tutoring sessions before I sign up.
Theo: I’m proud of you boys. You’re making my dream come true!

Angela: You remember their names, then? OK, they’re through here…it’s their birthday, you know?
Sandy: Oh! They’re so precious! And your hair colour looks lovely on them. Now I have red-headed siblings and red-headed daughters.
Angela: Just keep saying things like that, and you’ll always be welcome round here.
Sandy: Oh, I’ll be round. As often as I can.

Nell had no contact with Sergio since the failed wedding but he showed up soon after Tania was born. I had Nell do the “Show off baby” interaction with him but all the flirting was autonomous. Their romance bar was 0 but it’s growing. This was a bit of a surprise as I’d assumed, in the presence of baby Tania, that child-hating Sergio would be tense!

I was a bit worried that Sandy wouldn’t be able to tutor once he’d graduated. He’d been so busy with the Secret Society and coursework to fit the 5 lo-o-o-ong sessions in. However, he was able to do it post graduation, phew!
He actually got his Professorship before finishing his tutoring for step 3 of the Academic aspiration but then step 4 says to get a job using your degree which didn’t register. So…he had to quit and then immediately get it again to trigger the completion of that aspiration.
I’m fond of Sandy and he’s always been the responsible one – apart from fathering twins with someone that’s not even a girlfriend. We all make mistakes and sometimes they’re beautiful!

It’s a bit soon to guess Tania’s Big Dream. There’s no clue in her name as female characters are limited in Shakespeare plays – probably due to the prohibition on female actors.

So much success in this episode!
I'm thrilled that all but Mia graduated with an A+ GPA, an astounding achievement for the Watcher since their degree programs were dissimilar.
And Mia with only one term left--you must be relieved, Watcher!

How fortunate that Sandy was able to rejoin his career at Level 8 after rejoining.
When I previously played Sergio, he didn't get tense around his own children, just other children.

By the by, have you checked the Clarifications post (2nd post on page 1 of the BDD thread) about Dr. McSteamy? The requirement on First Kisses has been revised.
Two Gen3 kids in the house already!!! For Tania, I predict a Big Dream that doesn't require a uni degree.
