I'm a bit confused by the Harvested Interest achievement - I'm having trouble working out what it counts and what it doesn't. Another family member harvested a few plants early on and unfortunately I didn't write down what the achievement showed then, so I have to track this one manually.

What should I be counting for this achievement? Every single time the sim harvests a plant, any plant? Only the times that she harvests a plant for the first time or one that's never been harvested before? Only plants in the world, not on our lot? Or both plants on our home lot and in the world? Different types of plants? (Though it probably can't be the latter as I don't think there are that many different types of plants in my game).

It's 50 wild plants - it doesn't track whether or not it's the same plant. So essentially you need to harvest wild plants (not on your lot) 50 times.

Actually just had the achievement trigger for me (the flash-up-on-the-screen thing) while my sim was harvesting some plants on our home lot but I will have her harvest 50 plants out in the world just to be sure anyway. She's going to have a bit of waiting around to do soon anyway.


Re soulmate other requirements:
Does this mean the honeymoon sims can't leave the vacation town for 3 days or that I must stay in the vacation world with them? Can I switch control back to a sim left behind on my home lot for a bit, so long the honeymooners stay on holiday in the vacation town? I've got to send them off on their honeymoon next time I'm playing and this question just occured to me.

I don't see any rules that prohibit life extension - just want to check that I didnt miss anything and it's allowed?

Interesting - it’s supposed to be only wild plants.

The honeymooners have to stay but you can switch.

No there’s no rule against life extension.

I had 7 Sims complete their Big Dreams, and 5 more that completed at least 3 tasks.

Hello fine people.  I am anxiously awaiting the open date for the dynasty, so I decided, why not do the tournament challenge?  I have a question. 

So for the Master Mixer requirement of of make every drink available to you in the game, I'm a little confused.  Does my sim have to go out of their way to get certain skills, etc. to purposely unlock all of the recipes available in the game or it's just what's available to that sim? It's the available to you that has me unsure, available to me because of pack requirements or available to that sim? 

I saw the discussion on this earlier in the thread, and I realize the snaggle fluster and astronaut career drinks aren't required.  However, I was unsure about the ones from vampire lore skill and the ones you can unlock in el selvadorada.  If there are more, there may be, but I don't know of them.

Adding on to christinal3106's question - I've been wondering if we have to also make sure to include the drinks that are only available when the sim is in a particular emotion? Such as Amygdelight (focused), Prose & Pop (inspired) etc...

Hi, @christinal3106 -- great to see you jump in a challenge. It's been too long. You were always a heavy hitter back in the day.

Glazey messaged me in Discord and here is her answer --

It's whatever is available - if it shows up in that Sim's list, even greyed out, then they need to make it. But if it doesn't show up at all, they don't have to try to make it show up by gaining skills,  etc.

Thank you so much for the answer.  Well, I didn't do any other events so I won't be on the leader board, but maybe next year I'll participate in the tournament more.

I may of spoke too soon.  Doing this challenge is very intensive and lots of micromanaging.  I've been playing as much as possible since Friday and just finished one week.  I don't think there's enough time for me to do it.

You can always do as much as you can. I know you were pretty competitive back in the day, but if you cannot do the full 6 weeks, that's okay.
