Thank you.  I've only ever noticed a flash notice/notification for the first household sim to earn the achievement.

- Are there any restrictions on moving?
I will update the rules to say that your household can move, but everyone in the household has to be included in the move, and they must move to an empty lot/house - no moving in with another sim.

Quote
- Let's imagine a situation: I have already completed 10 Big Dreams, and I have a household of 7 Sims working on the remaining 7 Big dreams. If I add one more Sim, can I consider it a start of round 2 and choose any of 17 dreams for him/her?
Yes, round 2 does not have to be in the same order as round 1; you just have to start all Big Dreams that you can complete in round 2 before you can start any for the 3rd time. I will update the rules to say that you can start round 2 when you have started the last one you can complete (based on your packs).

Quote
- Once someone is married, can they divorce and add another spouse to household?
No, I will update the rules - one spouse per sim; so whether you divorce them or they die, that sim can't bring in a second spouse.

Quote
- Regarding the collections that require digging: when a sim is working on one of of these collections (let's say, crystals), they will inevitably collect fossils, MySim trophies and metals along the way. But since every sim must "do all the work" to complete their unique collection, does it mean that when another sim starts a collection that requires digging, I just have to track manually what they've found and make sure they found every item in this collection from scratch?
Yes - an easy way to do this is to either keep what that sim found in their own inventory, in a separate room, or in a separate storage box or chest.

Oh, yes, I understand - sorry, didn't get your meaning - it is only for the first sim in the household to get it, so you are right that you'll have to count the traits for subsequent sims.

Happy days!  I'm so happy that our household can move if we want to (we can leave our friends behind).

Cuz our friends don't dance and if they don't dance, they ain't no friends of ours....hmmm, that didn't rhyme with "behind' Sorry for the silly song reference.

I haven't said anything while I was still focusing on yoga classes, but this is really cool!
I like dynasties, although I have only ever completed one, and that was not for HOF.

I have a few questions:

Is there any restriction on completing aspirations or maxing skills that belong to anothers Sim's Big Dream?

Quote
Children and teens must attend school every day
Does this apply to holidays as well?
Are there any restrictions on custom holidays?

In Soulmate, does the Honeymoon need to follow the wedding directly?

Quote
Spouses joining the household must ... complete 1 unique collection (not completed by any other spouse and not required by the sim's Big Dream ...)
In Master Scientist, there is a choice of collections. Can a spouse with this Big Dream still choose two of these, one for the spouse requirement and one for the Big Dream?

No, any sim can max additional skills, complete additional aspirations, get additional achievements, etc. without regard to whether they are part of another sim's Big Dream.

Good question! I will update the rules to indicate that they can miss school on system-created holidays that come with the day off. Players can create additional holidays, but only 1 per 2 weeks that will give the day off from work/school.

It needs to start the day of the wedding or the next day. - I will add that to the requirement.

Yes, both collections can come from this list, provided that the one fulfilling the spouse collection requirement is unique among spouses.

Can children/teens skip school if they go to vacation with adults?
Also, Outdoorsman child goal "Sleep in a tent in the yard at home for at least 6 hours 5 times" - can this be done while on vacation as well?

How FUN!!! I love the idea of a sneak peek at the new Dynasty :)
Fingers crossed that I can carve out enough time in the chaos that is my life to play this event  ;)

I've actually been re-thinking the "must attend school rule". My two guiding ideas for this challenge/dynasty have been - keep the rules to a minimum (I want you to be able to play the way you want to play), and include as much content as possible.

So, on the school rule - I am adding school-based requirements to the Big Dreams spreadsheet - the requirements differ somewhat between the different dreams. I will remove the "attend school rule" completely, as well as the limit to the holiday days-off. Your child/teen sims will only need to go to school as much as is required to complete their Big Dream - the rest is up to you.

"Sleep in a tent in the yard at home" - I was remembering back-yard campouts of my younger days when I added that, but, yes, I can remove the "in the yard at home" part and that can be anywhere.

Regarding including as much content as possible - I do want to include all the content, but we still want the challenge and the tournament to be playable and fun for players who don't have a lot of packs. To that end, @oshizu has been helping me re-work several of the Big Dreams to provide base game alternatives to some of the pack-specific content. We'll have 12 Big Dreams that can be played with base game only, and 6 that will require one or two specific packs.  Thank you to @jesslc for calling out the need for more Big Dreams using less pack content.

I'll make the "attend school" and holiday update today; the spreadsheet will be updated either this evening or tomorrow.

Thank you all for your questions and ideas!

For our founders, do we need to complete the Most Interesting Sim in the World Achievement and complete 1 unique collection?
Or are we having them do only the adult and higher tier....or they can't do a big dream at all and are merely raising the big dreamers?

The founding couple is exempt from all toddler, child, and teen requirements for their Big Dreams. So they don't have to do the achievement and collection - they just get an exemption from those requirements.

It just occurred to me that I didn't specify that the initial couple has to be married - that opens the door to a strategy that would have them each immediately marry someone else, adding two adults (and their money) immediately to the household. That is not intended, so I am modifying this to say that the founding couple must be created as spouses.

Lots of updates tonight - a few rules, and lots of spreadsheet updates, mostly to add alternatives to some of the pack-specific requirements - 12 of the 18 can now be played with just Base Game. Check out the second post and the spreadsheet.
