Pally this is fabulous.  Something I always wanted to do but never have and you do it so very well.  I love each little individual story.
What?  Grannies can't play games?

thank you :)

If you're wondering why I haven't updated in a while, I have just started full time study and haven't had the energy to play much. But I do have the Greenwood family played, I just need to put their photos up...

Wow, just WOW!  What a great idea!  I love all the stories you have put together.  As far as the pics go, there is no such thing as too many.  They make your stories come to life.  Good luck with your studies and I hope you'll find some time to play/update soon.

Finally now we have the Greenwood family.

After saving for many years, Oliver and Holly Greenwood finally have built their dream eco-home in Barnacle Bay. It's made out of recyclable steel and renewable bamboo, has a mini garden in the middle, and even solar panels on the roof and a windmill out front! They dry their clothes without a dryer, and don't believe in television, or hair dye. They are always sure to have short showers, and all their clothes are made of hemp.

Oliver is happy with his part time job at the local supermarket where he sells organic fresh food to the local community. He rides his bike everywhere, and encourages his wife and girls to do the same. Holly is a local member of parliament and is always busy campaigning for animal rights and climate change policies. Both of them help tend their mini garden and raise their two girls. Their eldest, Jade, is a keen athlete. She's not sure whether she agrees with her parents green ideas, but she won't voice her thoughts while she lives at home, that's for sure. She's good friends with local girls Laurel and Serena, but there are no guys on the horizon just yet. Young Emerald is a recycling nut. She likes to hang around the local recycling dump after school, taking home some small scrap in her bicycle basket. She's not much of a socialite, and the closest friends she has is the lobster in the family fish tank.

Oliver and Holly have it all, but they decide to go in for one more treasure. In their mind, one can't have too many kids.

Holly uses her time off work to relax at the local spa (insisting on organic treatments of course), and she goes to visit Molly Darer-Coddle for some baby advice.

After a natural home birth, Holly and Oliver introduce their girls to their little brother: Topaz.

Now we come to the Malifa family.

On the surface, the Malifa's seem like your ordinary spanish family with a touch of fame. Petunia is a classic beauty, while her husband Buzz likes to be tough, stylish and 'out there'. Their son Marcus is obsessed with being 'cool', reflected in his hair style and outfits.

But little things point to an unhappy family life. Petunia regularly burns breakfast, but no one complains.. Buzz has suddenly taken a liking to painting, but his final works remind Petunia of something painted by someone Marcus' age.
But she doesn't tell him.
Petunia, distraught upon discovering she is pregnant, takes to visiting bars late at night while her husband paints.
But he doesn't seem to care.
Petunia, sure she has all the worst luck in the world, isn't surprised when giving birth doesn't turn out as simple as last time.
But no one in the family expects things to turn out the way they do.

Buzz never gets to tell his wife that he's sorry for ignoring her. Marcus never admits to his mum that she's more important than his image. And newborn baby Catalina never gets to know her mum.

Petunia died from complications during childbirth. She was a little old to be having a baby, and she didn't look after herself as she should have. Not that her husband helped her in that department. But it's too late for regrets - she's not coming back.
The funeral is subdued, attended by locals including Bobby Sargeant, Stiles McGraw, and Dina Caliente.

Buzz's final painting of his beloved wife haunts Marcus as he ages up, and he decides that from then on he will hate art. Though he doesn't say it, part of him blames his dad for being to caught up in painting. He finds an escape in his birthday present - a drum kit.

... sad, I know, but I had to have 1 sad one. Next will be the Crumplebottom/Sekemoto family.

YAY update! I love the concept of this story, Pally. You are doing a great job coming up with unique stories for each family. I'm curious to see if you did with Agnes and the Sekemotos something similar to what story progression did in one of my games. :)
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

Love your story!  The brief glimpses of the inhabitants is a nice change on the story board. :)
