Beau Merrik- Pyromaniac?

Hello! Sim wiki claims Beau Merrick has the hidden Pyro trait, and I was wondering if anyone knew if this was actually true?

It is true. If you play Beau and you click on him to like change his clothes the option "burn something nearby" appears with a little flame next to it. I was surprised at first because I had completely forgotten about the hidden pyro trait as I can never seem to unlock it for my own sims. It took me by completely by surprise. I didn't think it was possible since Beau has no family other than himself so I couldn't trace it either.

Same here and it is true, my sim's Vampire Child could burn stuff and his mother had no firefighter blood in her so I guessed it was Beau and everyone else says it is him.

Hmm...I really wish I could see Beau's family tree! I wanna know who the firefighter was! His mom? His Dad? Uncle three times removed? I won't be able to concentrate on anything until I find out!

You've ment that you don't know how to create pyromeniac sims or haven't succeeded yet?

I haven't succeeded yet. One day I will get a pyro sim. I currently have a game with Beau and another sim who had a baby. Hopefully when that baby ages up he will have the pyro trait too. Maybe. I don't know but I will keep my fingers crossed.

I believe the change was 50% to get the pyro, and the other 50% for getting imume to fire.
I recommend your sim to join the firefighter career (if you have Ambitions). That way he will get both after reaching level 10.

Why don't you just marry an NPC Firefighter?

I have many times actually and I don't every get the pyro trait. I always get the immune to fire but never the pyro trait. I guess I just have really bad luck.

I seem to have the same problem as Shenice; I can't for the life of me get the pyromaniac trait, from NPC firefighters or otherwise. Not even my Level 10 Firefighter has it. In fact, when a Sim of mine had a child with Beau that was the first time I'd ever had a child inherit the Pyro trait, ever.

At least you got the pyro trait from that. I was playing that family yesterday and the toddler aged up and there was no pyro trait. There's another baby on the way so hopefully he/she will have the trait.

Also George Dean (Riverview) and Jessica Talon (Bridgeport) both have the pyromanic trait. Imagine if pyromaniacs could set community lots on fire or autonomous set fires
