I just had a quite look at the 45 kids stories - you guys are intense! I feel like I need to read them with the spreadsheet printed out! Lol!

Duane and Pania definitely need at least one child to pass on that hair gene! They are cute.

Adventures in Henford-on-Bagley 15.2. Winter Sun and Fun (30 Sep)

Our Best Lives: Adventures in the HoB 15.2. Winter Sun & Fun

Week 15, Wednesday (3rd week of Winter)
Tamiyo: What are we doing in Brindleton Bay?
Naoki: I'm hosting a social event on Thursday, but I need guests.
Well, hello there, Evie Delgato! Welcome to the guest list!

Tamiyo: Ooh, Duane will be upset to hear you visited his family without him.
Naoki: And you will not tell him because it's supposed to be a surprise.
Little Nani Kealoha here will attend in the company of either Makoa or Lilliana.
Duane will love seeing them again! And he hasn't seen Nani for ages.

Pania: Oh look! Both Duane and Naoki recently prepared impeccable 8-serving meals!
I pull them out of the fridge to CopyPasto several more platters of each dish to save for the tots.
In the process, I max my magic rank and become a Virtuoso spellcaster!
I'm so grateful to my dear friend Tamiyo who trained me in between farm chores.

After putting the kids to sleep, Duane and I eat two helpings each of Bhel Puri.
How many more servings will we need to become Spicy Hounds?
What the heck! We each have one more serving of Bhel Puri, but no joy.

Naoki: The new spa aspirations are deceptively time-consuming.
Late at night, I lead Duane in guided meditation for more than an hour.
But my "Guide others" value only increases after completing the session, not after an hour passes.
Somebody doesn't know the diff between a session and an hour.  And it ain't me!

Thursday
Naoki: And now it's time for the long-awaited event: Ze Toddler Playdate!
It's warm and sunny weather in Oasis Springs. Perfect for our outdoor festivities.

She's a dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dancing machine.
Watch her get down, watch her get down,
As she do, do, do her thing, right on the scene.
(Remember this song?)

Tamiyo: This flirty lady shows up and I think at first she's simply a rando.
Only after I introduce myself do I learn that she's Evie Delgato's mother.
She sure looks different in her party wear. And what's with her flirty mood?

Duane: Papa Makoa! What a delightful surprise to see you and little Nani at the playdate.
Makoa: How could I skip another chance to see you again? And how's married life?
Duane: Very funny.  The twins aged up to toddlers the day after our wedding, so it's hard to say.
Makoa: Well, don't make me wait too long for grandkids, Duane.
Also, how long do you and Pania plan to rely on Naoki's generous hospitality?

Tamiyo: All the kids are loving the outdoor playground equipment.
In fact, they've always stayed indoors due to the snow, so being outside is a new experience for them.
Katsuya knocks off two playdate goals by himself!

Akane enjoys the higher vantage point from that playground thingamajig.

Pania: Nicolas is deep into his fantasy of pirates and treasure chests.
By the way, we had to give up his initial name, Lono, because it's disallowed in our simverse.
So, instead, we've named him Nicolas after the early Christian bishop, St. Nicolas of Myra.

Naoki: Oh no! I hadn't expected Katsuya to become so captivated by Evie Delgato!
Neither Katsuya nor Evie have a single special trait.
Our Watcher will never allow Katsuya to marry her!
They're only toddlers now, but we all know Evie ages up into one of the loveliest sims in our simverse.

Naoki: It's like one of those pre-arranged marriages of olden times.
Katsuya and Pania's daughter Laka shall be promised to each other from childhood.
At least, that's what our Watcher wants.
Personally, I hope the two of them start out as BFFs in grade school.

Duane: The kids are absolutely loving running around in the open air.
Look at the happy smile on Nick's face!

Duane: I am only friends with Nicolas and Laka as of today.
I'm hoping to become good friends with them both by the end of this week.

Tamiyo: All of us have such a good time that we stay quite late, I mean, waaaay too late!

The kids are all angry with exhaustion.
They'll be fine tomorrow after a good night's rest.

Saturday
Pania: Today, a glorious rainbow emerges over Old New Henford.
Duane and I have been trying to reach a decision lately.
The rainbow signals to us that the time has come!

Duane: Absolutely not, Naoki! We can't accept a third of your household funds!
Naoki: Of course you can! Both of you have worked right alongside us for days!
Tamiyo: If you can't accept it for yourselves, hold onto it for your children!
Pania: Well, since you put it that way…

Pania: We'd initially planned to move back to Sulani, perhaps to the island of Mu'a Pelam.
But then we felt reluctant to move so far away from the Nakadai family. And our kids should grow up together!
Duane: So we've moved into Naoki's first farmhouse, just across the river.
We've even made some cosmetic changes to give our home a little island flair.

Duane: Nicolas and Laka provided one reason for today's move.
As of this moment, they're only one or two skill points from maxing all their skills.
Pania and I can certainly help them become Top-Notch Toddlers before their birthday in three days.

Duane: You can probably guess the second reason I was eager to move sooner rather than later.
Pania: Duane, I'm eating for two!

Front door: ding dong!
Duane: No, no, don't answer it. It's the Welcome Wagon!
Pania: I know! Naoki will be upset if we make him miss the Wool Competition!

Naoki: In Finchwick, I enter my excellent Rainbow Wool in the competition, sell produce, then dash home.
Tamiyo: Duane and Pania aren't the only ones who want another child!

Naoki: Once Tamiyo confirms she's eating for two, we head over to our friends' new home.
Duane had laid out all his seeds for planting earlier, so we plant and water them together.
Just past 9;30 pm, I get word that I've won 1st place in the Wool Competition.  Sweet!
I'll never win the Pie Competition, so should I even bother with the remaining Milk Competition?

Notes
From now on, I'll be rotating between the Nakadai and Talla households, starting with the Nakadais.

I wasn't planning to include so many shots of the toddler playdate, but they were so cute, haha.

LOL, I can always count on you to speak up in support of toddler spam!
Splitting the household into means I make slower progress toward Gen3, but also gives me more Gen3 kids to choose from, hahaha.
it's all starting to spin out of control....

Our Best Lives: Adventures in the HoB 16. Twins

Week 16, Sunday (4th week of Winter)
Naoki; I won this cottage core outfit for llamas in yesterday's Wool Competition.
Latifah reassures me that they're non-binary and is fine wearing this manly outfit.

At Yukimatsu, Tamiyo can't go sledding because she's pregnant.
Instead she makes a snow pal with Katsuya.
Meanwhile, I sled down the bunny slope with Akane.  She loves it.

In the adjacent run, Kiyoshi Ito is sledding with sister Nanami.
We'd invited along the Tallas, hoping they might sled on their own, too.

Nope! Duane and Pania are too busy soaking in the hot springs.
Their poor kids are unhappy and possibly freezing.

I have L10 Fitness and Wellness.
So why isn't sledding on the Bunny Slope easier?
Whooooaaaa!

Katsuya's such a little trooper.
Even after our snowy mishap, he immediately leaps up and asks to go again.

Monday
Between our farm chores and Finchwick, we stop by the Tallas.
We'd promised to insta-upgrade their animal sheds for them.
We're glad to spare them the trouble of seeking Livestock Upgrade Parts.
Duane's a Nerd Brain, so he upgraded their chicken coop himself.

In case you were wondering about Zen Guru's Comfort Others task…
Comforting a sad toddler doesn't count toward it. Darn.

Tuesday
We wake up to an early morning drizzle.
Our cruel Watcher makes us put away our umbrellas.
W: You don't need umbrellas! You both the have the Waterproof trait. Sheesh!

A reminder of what our kids looked like as toddlers…

because we celebrate their birthdays this afternoon.

They were, as you would expect, both Top-Notch Toddlers.
We encourage them both to sign up for Scouts first thing.

The children come along when we visit Finchwick to sell our wares.
At the Gnome's Arm, our Social Butterflies meet everyone they can.

Back home, Tamiyo goes into labor while the children play chess.
As she waddles to the front of the lot, we get a flash notice.
Pania's gone into labor, too!
You'll hear all about it next week, I'm sure.

(Note: This option to switch to another played household's delivery is a feature of the MCCC mod.)

Tamiyo has boy/girl twins.
She names the girl Yuna after her mother.
Surprisingly, our son is a born spellcaster.
I name him Jin, which means benevolence.

Thursday
Katsuya; Papa, are we poor?
Naoki: Why do you ask that, son?
Katsuya: Well, why are we watching the Season TV Premiere here at the pub?
Tamiyo: We're trying to minimize our eco-footprint by conserving energy.
Katsuya; Oh, um, that's cool (not).

Tamiyo: Soon after we return home, we get the twins' birthday notices.
Look, Naoki! They both have my green eyes!
Naoki: So what's the plan? Our two best-looking kids marry Father Winter's kids?

Akane: Mama and Papa sure are busy with the twin toddlers.
Katsuya: Yeah, it's a good thing we've gotten so much done already.
Akane: I know, right? We might earn all our badges by Saturday.
Katsuya: We definitely won't attend Saturday's scout meeting!

Friday
Akane: C'mon, Papa. Hurry! We need to finish our second school projects before school.
Naoki: But we just did school projects together last night.
Katsuya: Yes, but we're trying to get an A grade before the weekend.
Tamiyo: There, we're done! Now off to school you go!

Akane: Hey there, A student!
Katsuya: Back at ya, Whiz Kid!
Akane: Only 3 more drawings to earn our last badge. *grins
Katsuya: Yep, yep. *grins back

We take all four kids to the Spice Festival for the first time.
Not surprisingly, Katsuya and Akane fail their first Spice Challenge.
All four will eventually become Spice Hounds, we hope.
Now, how can we move forward with Chopstick Savvy?

Saturday
Today's the last day of the year!
Early in the morning, Katsuya earns his last badge.
Akane does, too, about an hour later.
All without ever attending a single scout meeting.

We spend a miserable, rainy day at Desert Bloom Park.
Akane and Katsuya did manage to befriend enough sims for Social Butterfly.
As our first year comes to a close, Naoki and I put the toddlers to bed.
And the children fiddle their way through another aspiration.

Adventures in Henford-on-Bagley 17. Duane's Story (5 Oct)
« Reply #54 on: October 06, 2021, 01:35:58 AM »
Our Best Lives: Adventures in the HoB 17. Duane's Story

Year 2, Week 17, Sunday (1st week of Spring)
Duane: I plan to tell you a little about myself in a bit.
But it's a bit hectic since our week has just begun at midnight.

As you've heard, Pania give birth last Tuesday during the Nakadai's week.
Boy/girl twins and both spellcasters!  Pania names the girl Arihi.
I name the boy Makao to honor my foster-father, Makoa Kealoha.
According to our calendar, Monday is their birthday.

Nikolas and Laka, Pania's kids with Father Winter have almost maxed their skills.
They just need to practice Thinking for another hour or two.
Here's the trait panel of Nikolas, in case you're curious.

Our calendar gives their birthday as Tuesday.
Before they age up, I should host a Toddler Playdate, don't you think?

Luckily, the Nakadais finished their week before midnight.
With 2 hours left, Pania, the toddlers, and I even managed a gold-status New Year's Eve1

Then, Pania and I harvest some winter crops and prepare for spring.
We build a temporary shelter and plant all our spring crops beneath it.
Once the spring season officially starts, we'll remove the columns and roofing.

I warned Pania that caring for a llama would be too much work.
But did she listen? Of course not.

I'd completely forgotten that we'd have to befriend the birds, rabbits, and Patchy for ourselves.
I befriend the birds this morning, but Pania's not having much luck with bunnies.
There's no hurry.

Monday
Duane: So I've been planning to tell you what I've learned about myself.
Apparently, my appearance is modeled after the Polynesian demigod Maui from the 2016 Disney film Moana.
"Duane" comes no doubt from the name of Maui's Samoan voice actor, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
And did you know the character Maui is modeled after Dwayne's Samoan High Chief grandfather?
(Our Watcher read that last tidbit in a tweet by The Rock.)

Our Watcher looked up my family name "Talla" last week.
How surprising to learn the name's most numerous in India but occurs in highest density in Cameroon.
Lately, I figure my surname riffs off of tthe film character Moana's paternal grandma's name.
Not a big stretch from Tala to Talla, right?

Tuesday
Just past midnight, our bassinet burritos age up.
Arihi looks a lot like her half-sister Laka.
I can't wait to introduce our boy Makoa to his Grandpa Makoa!

Since all four kids are toddlers now, we'd been wanting to host a Toddler Playdate today.
But then we get a notice about GeekCon.
Pania wants to finish her Nerd Brain aspiration, so GeekCon it is.
We invite along Naoki, Tamiyo, and their two older kids.

The green-on-yellow Super Llama is a very popular look today.

I try a little video gaming then recall that Tamiyo has Level 10 Writing.
I ask her to mentor me so I can write excuse notes for the kids later.  That's useful, right?

We're lucky that Nicolas and Laka maxed all their toddler skills before the second twins aged up!
Now, we're just waiting to get Nicolas and Laka's birthday notices this evening.

Wednesday
The birthday notices of the Santa twins, Nicolas and Laka, never arrive.
But since the calendar gives their birthday as Tuesday, we wait all evening.
By the time they blow out their birthday candles, it's past midnight.

Nicolas must really love this hairstyle.
When he aged up to toddler, he also had this same hair.
Nicolas, that hair wasn't for you then and it's certainly not for you now.

Nicolas: Papa…
Duane: Yes?
Nicolas: Do you think I could get, like, a suntan so I'm not paler than the rest of the family?
Duane; Sure thing, Nicolas.  Next time, we're in CAS.

Nicolas: Since we don't have school today, we start on our scouting badges.
While I'm giving Auntie Tamiyo a gift, I get a phone call.

Pania: Who just phoned you, Nicolas?
Nicolas: I dunno. Some weirdo in a llama costume wishing me happy birthday. I hung up on him.
Pania: …

Laka: You think Watcher's gonna make us wear Winterfest colors forever?
Nicolas; I doubt it.  She doesn't even celebrate the holiday herself.
Laka; At school, Imra Watson asked if you and me were in prearranged marriages.
They heard their parents gossiping about it.
Nicolas: That's just silly gossip.  Hey, let's try to earn all badges before Saturday's scout meeting.

Thursday
Today we celebrate the Eggfest holiday.
Makoa and Arihi love meeting the Flower Bunny.

Friday
Duane: I realize you're in charge of the farm animals but have you taken the time to befriend the chickens?
Pania: I'm not friends with any of the chickens. Is that why we haven't had a single egg since we moved here?
Duane: No doubt.

To celebrate a Night on the Town, we invite the Nakadais to the Konayuki restaurant in Wakaba-mori.
It's just the adults and children, since we left our toddlers at home.
We're hoping that our children will become close friends as they grow up.

Katsuya: So, is it my imagination or do you look a bit tanner tonight?
Nicolas: Just a little. Do I look weird?
Katsuya: Not at all. You're part islander after all.

Katsuya: I see you're not that impressed with my sister Akane.
Nicolas: She's gone to the vending machines outside three times since we got here.
Katsuya: Well, don't be too hard on her. Didn't you notice her mother did the same thing?
Me, I'm close to my papa.  You're lucky, too.  Uncle Duane's super cool.

Laka: I feel like such a loser! Katsuya and Akane became Whiz Kids on Friday after school.
Then they earned their last scout badge on Saturday morning.
Nicolas: Yeah, they're ahead of us a bit, but it's not our fault.
Their twins didn't become toddlers until two days later so they got more attention from their parents.
Also, the calendar said our birthday was on Tuesday but nobody ever saw our birthday notices.

Laka: Well, I've still been having fun.  You?
Nicolas: Yep, we're doing great.  *high fives

Pania: Duane insists that I enter this Saturday's Garden Competition.
Since I take care of the animals, he says, I'll benefit more from completing Country Caretaker.
I enter a perfect Dragonfruit.  Nothing rarer or costlier than that, right?

Before 9 pm, Makoa has maxed out all his toddler skills.
His sister Arihi does the same within an hour.
Their birthday's in three days.

You don't feel so great, little bunny.  I know exactly how you feel.
My perfect Dragonfruit won a Participation Ribbon at today's fair.
Did I not place because I didn't bribe the Mayor?
But I don't regret rushing home from the fair. My time is for our kids.

By 11 pm, Arihi and then Nicolas earn their last badge and quit scouts.
Duane and I aren't worried at all about their progress.
They're close to completing two aspirations.
Also, Nicolas is in range to become Responsible and Good-Mannered.
They still have 10 days until their teen birthday--they have lots of time to get everything done.

Notes
*Santa's twins: I didn't occur to me until too late how I could have had a Santa's son who looks more Polynesian.
Pania has the Fertile trait so I should have influenced her to have twin girls.
Then, I could've changed the gender of one toddler girl to a boy.
I'll try it with Nicolas's kids.

*Focus of this story: After completing Naoki and Tamiyo's challenges, is focusing more on producing Gen3 toddlers who I can later age up to teens or young adults to use as founders in other challenges.
The Gen2 kids only need enough satisfaction to buy the rewards that make their lives more comfortable.
For all of these reasons, my future updates will no doubt get shorter as I rush to bring the Gen3 kids into the simverse. :)

I did wonder what the focus was. You always start with interesting founders. It'll be fun to see what adventures the gen3 kids have.
I've never seen the Weak Bloodline trait before. What does it mean?

I've never seen the Weak Bloodline trait before. What does it mean?

Bloodline is a spellcaster-related inherited trait that may or not be passed on over generations.
Gen1: Spellcaster with no bloodline trait (Pania)
Gen2: Weak bloodline (Tamiyo)
Gen 3: Strong bloodline
Gen 4: Ancient bloodline
Each bloodline strength comes with its own beneifts. You can read more about magical bloodlines in Carl's guide for the Realm of Magic expansion pack. :)

I appreciate your comments! <3

Our Best Lives: Adventures in the HoB 18+19. Decisions, Decisions

THE NAKADAI HOUSEHOLD
Week 18, Sunday
(2nd week of Spring)
Naoki: I always like to check the calendar at the start of the week to see what's coming up.
Our toddlers celebrate their birthdays in four days.
That's more than enough time for them to become Top-Notch toddlers.
Wow, Katsuya and Akane will be teens in eight more days!

Katsuya maxes his Social skill tonight, completing his fourth aspiration.
Akane will need several more hours to catch up.
I think that, after maxing three character values each, they should switch to skills.
With four kids, only one will remain living with us but the other will move out.  (Can you guess which one?)
The three who leave will need enough income-generating power and satisfaction to live comfortably.

Monday
Today's the Eggfest holiday.
We are mainly celebrating it to entertain our toddlers.
But it's a great opportunity for Katsuya and Akane to earn an extra 500 satisfaction as well.

Watcher made a new discovery while exploring Henford-on-Bagley a few real-life weeks ago.
For an egg hunt, we're not restricted to our home lot.
Since the Flower Bunny never showed up on our lot today, the kids struggle to achieve a gold holiday.
They end up hunting eggs in both The Gnome's Arm and the Community Center.

Tuesday
We're giving the Santa twins options.
Santa's son Nicolas can decide which Nakadai girl he likes better: Akane or Yuna (who's still a toddler).

Similarly, Santa's daughter Laka can choose between Katsuya and the now-toddler Jin.

It's hard to believe that Tamiyo is Farmily-Oriented whereas I'm not.
She's not a great parent, tbh.
When the toddlers ask to be mentored, Tamiyo  always starts at least an hour later.
Because she runs off to do something else, making the toddler chase her or simply give up.
If a toddler's coming to ask me something, I usually stop and wait.

Small wonder that I have max friendship with the toddlers, but Tamiyo doesn't.

Wednesday
I know we were thinking of having the kids just earn three character values.
But Katsuya is already in range to earn all five by this morning.
Akane is 4-5 hours behind him, but she still has lots of time.

Thursday
Our toddler twins age up in the evening.
Look at Tamiyo run off as soon as she helps Yuna blow out her birthday candles.
Tamiyo knows that we need to mentor them while they play chess for Whiz Kid.
Why does she always make it so hard?
Watcher: Arrggh, Tamiyo is the worst!

The twins appear to be identical, don't you think?
They have my eyes, but Tamiyo's eye color and mouth.
Akane and Katsuya, you have some serious competition.
Katsuya: Actually, um, I don't mind at all not marrying Laka, Santa's daughter.

Friday
I've been crafting camping mascots for our kids to become Fabulously Wealthy when they're teens.
Tamiyo must have finished making flower arrangements. What could she be up to?
No, no, no, Tamiyo.  We have the Auto-Feeder on that chicken coop, remember?
Who's going to clean up all that feed you've wasted?

[i}Watcher: Me, that's who. *drags each piece, one by one, to the trash can.
Oh wait! I build a foundation beneath all that feed, then delete the foundation. All gone.
Naoki, please lock Tamiyo out of the animal areas.*sighs[/i]

Saturday
Yuna: It's 10 pm and we only have one more scouting badge to earn!
Do we have time to earn our Keep Fit badge?
Jin: No worries, sis. You know we'll be done before the next scout meeting.

THE TALLA HOUSEHOLD
Week 19, Sunday
(3rd week of spring)
Duane: It's our week again!
Our toddler twins will age up just as our older twins wrap up their aspirations.

Monday
Nicolas: I can't believe we didn't bring A grades today, Papa.
Duane: You'll both succeed tomorrow for sure!  You're so close already!

Duane: Our story here will close with the birth of the third generation.
Still Pania and I want our children to live comfortably.
She's crafting camping mascots to make them Fabulously Wealthy.
I recently became a Painter Extraordinaire.
Because I grow flowers, though, I've decided I'd rather craft flower arrangements.

Makoa (left) and Arihi (right) are up late tonight, waiting for their birthday notices.

Tuesday
Duane: Our toddler twins age up into incredibly beautiful children.
Watcher: That they are, Duane.  That they are!

Wednesday
Laka (to herself):  Both Katsuya and his brother Jin are attractive.
In terms of magic bloodlines, Katsuya has no bloodline and Jin has a Strong bloodline.
Another consideration: Jin has green eyes like mine.
The choice is pretty obvious, right?

Katsuya (to himself): Laka's pretty but her younger sister Arihi is soooo much prettier.

Nicolas (to himself): I know I'm way too young to be looking ahead so far, but…
My children with Akane here would have the Ancient bloodline.
Her younger sister Yuna, who has green eyes like mine, is not a born spellcaster.
But if she became one, our children would also have the Ancient bloodline, right?

Akane (to herself): He's not as cute as his younger brother Jin, but Papa claims Nicolas has a rare trait!

Thursday
Duane: Arihi and Makoa are thrilled to earn their last scouting badge tonight.
They haven't completed a single aspiration yet, but they're almost done with a few of them.
Becoming a Llamacorn Scout without attending any scout meetings is a thing, it seems.
They, of course, immediately quit scouts.

Friday
Makoa: Why are we here in Finchwick?
Laka: Probably because Papa wants us to do our homework while he sells stuff.
Arihi: But why isn't Mama here?
Nicolas: I bet that's so we can ask her for advice and spoil our character values.
Duane: Darn straight!

Saturday
Arihi: I hate knitting. Why do we have to knit instead of play video games?
Makoa: Mama says we can max both Motor and Emotional Control this way.

Duane: Arihi decides she doesn't want to knit anymore, so I get her back to gaming.
The result? Makoa maxes Rambunction Scamp faster and learns an extra skill.
A partial comparison from Level 7 Motor:
Makoa: Motor 10, Knitting 6, Video Gaming 2; Emotional Control 100%
Arihi: Motor 10, Knitting 6, Video Gaming 3, Emotional Control 65%

Duane: Today's the Oversized Crop Fair so I enter my Giant Aubergine, worth $381.
It's by far the best entry in the competition, but I do everything I can to assure a win.
I befriend the Mayorr then give her both a Finchwick Favor and a Finchwick Heart-to-Heart.
My attempt to bribe her, though, fails miserably.  *gulps

Still, I win first place anyway, which means I've completed my Country Caretaker aspiration. Yay!

Here I am apologizing to the Mayor for even thinking she might accept a bribe.
(Oddly, Naoki has been 100% successful at bribing the mayor.  Do they have max friendship?)

As our week ends, Makoa and Arihi are practicing speeches in the mirror.
They've both made great progress this week!
Only Social  Butterfly left before they start on their character values.

I gave them both the same instructions in Finchwick today on making friends.
Makoa came home with three child-age friends but, mysteriously, Arihi has none. Why?

Notes
*Knitting: That super tip about knitting to gain both Motor skill and Emotional Control comes from reggikko.  Concurrently "wind down with classical music' to gain Emotional Control even faster.
*Update span: So far, I've been posting one-week updates for this game.
Now that I'm primarily speeding toward the birth of the Gen3 kids, I've tried a two-week update.
I hope it's not too dry a read for you.  I'm mostly done exploring the Cottage Living pack and one of my greatest pleasures in simming is how genetics work out in subsequent generations.
I do plan to use one or more of the Gen3 kids (clean clones) in this forum's new dynasty.

Random thought: you like playing genetics in the game.

Are there any challenges based on that? I know there's the pretty/ugly ones but I'm thinking something where you have different eye-coloured tribes, competing to have the most sims with that eye colour (not being allowed to change them in CAS, obvs)

I'm not sure if there're any other features that would be as easy to spot/define...

Anyway, I was just wondering if there was something already out there?

@Granny Lawlor
There's the Perfect Genetics wherein the heir must be the first child who inherits certain physical attributes of the parents (usually, hair, skin color, and/or eye color).
I haven't looked at the rules recently because it doesn't interest me sufficiently.
Possibly, the Perfect Genetics concept could be combined with any long-term challenge but I've already done Pinstar's legacy twice.
Also, isn't every simmer who loves multi-generation challenges captivated by sims genetics?

These days, I'm preparing for the Big Dreams dynasty challenge (with a clean library clone of one of the Gen3 kids--identical appearance but no non-personality traits, including reward traits, bonus traits, and inherited traits) as well as a variation of the Not So Berry challenge.
Will you join the Tournament Finale, too? Other plans?
