Chapter 24: They Had to Do It to Him

Silas gets abducted, again.



Although he seems to feel rather differently about it this time!



Iris D. passes alone in the science lab.



But she still stops by from time to time, particularly to check on her niece.

Iris D.: "Hm, didn't see that coming."



Faye heads off to her first day of school.



And is quick to schmooze up Father Winter when he stops by.

"Have you been a good girl?" he asks.

"I'm very good," she lies. "Not evil at all, nope!"



Strangely, her evil trait seems to have no impact on her relationship with Iris G., so they get along quite well.



Silas gives birth to a beautiful alien boy.



Welcome, Jax!



Silas does his best to be a good parent.



Even if he is getting a bit too old for it.



Yes, that's much easier on the old back.



Then it's time for another round of birthdays.

Jax becomes a child - clearly Silas's genetics at play here with that Vlad-esque profile.



And Faye becomes a teen.




Note: Unfortunately you will not be seeing Faye explore the new high school expansion. I play about a generation ahead of what I write, so that will get explored with Generation 6. But seriously, what a missed opportunity! Faye and her evilness would've rocked that place.

I *know*. Especially with all the new emphasis with teens and fashion. She would have slayed on Trendi! And she would have been perfect for trying out the Live Fast aspiration. Alas!

I did see in the patch notes that it's supposedly fixed. Good reminder that I'll have to try again in this save. It'll let you know how it goes!

Chapter 25: Shenanigans and Hi Jinks

Vera and Iris decide to befriend their neighbor across the street: a lady named Ember with *five* cats.

Originally, this was an attempt to change the eco footprint of the neighborhood by performing upgrades and putting down some plants. It failed. You'll want to remember Ember though, because it's relevant later on.



As mentioned last time, our dear Faye had just aged up to teen. She engaged in those activities common among her age group.

She went to school and did homework.



Spent time with family.



Including her much younger uncle.



She got in fights.



Hit people.



Created viruses.



Threatened the neighbor lady Ember with a "probe."



And even dared her great-great-grandmother to go streaking! (I can't believe this worked with Samura's proper trait ...)



You know. Just, totally normal, every day teen things.

And then she grew up.



Well, sort of.




Note: Shockingly and despite my best efforts, Faye did not manage to grow up with the low empathy character value trait. Due to a strange bug, she kept getting positive empathy points for, of all things, hitting and screaming at people.  Hitting the stuffed animal was similarly bugged and gave no points either way.

How odd that Faye was unable to earn the Insensitive character trait!
The three-week teen phase will definitely make it harder to keep character values in range!

Hmmm, I wonder if she's doing the Deviance aspirations....
That hairstyle really suits her!

Faye is scary! She's much better at being evil than my Sim. I'd definitely believe her if she told me she was a Criminal Mastermind! Stunning looks as well.

Chapter 26: A Warm Welcome

Jax ages up to teen, looking very much like his father Silas.



Who, by the way, is out to have another child. Gotta get those Big Happy Family aspirations! - and sadly Vera's deceased grand daughter Iris D. isn't counting for the requirement.



Faye, meanwhile, continues her evil doings. She makes mortal enemies.



Sets sims on fire with the help of some evil obsidian eggs.



And even learns the pipe organ for one of her three skills. Which is sort of evil-ish, right? Evil-adjacent maybe?



She also decides to test out whether the Extreme Sports Enthusiast aspiration is still bugged in this game file. Unfortunately, despite the recent patches, it is. This milestone is the farthest she can go.



Once Jax ages up to young adult and takes the Child of the Islands trait, he summons up some potential spouses for Faye. I mean, any child of Faye's needs to be able to summon meteors and cause mayhem, right?

And can you believe it? BOTH these gentlemen are named Loario. That puts us up to Loarios five and six - including Iris G.'s intended spouse. (Now you understand why my new founder's name is Loario Alvah - it's become a private joke between me and the game.)



After introducing herself and learning their traits, Faye settles on this particular Loario because he's good. Opposites attract right?



An invite into the household turns him into a human.



And the two sneak off for a little ... home welcoming.



A warm welcome indeed!

Congrats to Faye on her new partner!
That is so weird about all the Loarios in your games.
The Island Elementals always have Polynesian names in my saves, so your games are blatantly ignoring that tradition to prank you, lol!
Is there a Loario Jr. in their future?

I couldn't tell from your screenshot but is Faye completely unable of hosting a Mt. Komorebi Excursion? That sucks!
I wonder if the Alvahs can host the excursion since it's a new file? (No need to test for me, I'm just wondering out loud.)

Whew!  Finally caught up.
What a lovely family and such an extremely lovely home!
That was so sad and amusing all at the same time that everyone Iris G. was courting died!  She's like the black widow or something!  Between that and all the Loario's, it seems like the game is just having fun messing with you  ;=)

Good, Freegan & Adventurous - you should get the yin-yang happy buff when they're together. Active Flint & Lazy Nina got it every time they were being affectionate. A very good partner choice.
