Issues Fishing in personal pond.

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing an issue with my personal pond. I have recently build one on my sims lot, as explained I stocked my pond with fish, but I am still unable to fish there. The indication on a 'go fishing' window is that I need to stock my pond if I want to fish even though I have already done it. I have checked if this is not some sort of build issue, as sims are able to access the pond and play in it. In addition I sent my sim to fish in a local pond and it was able. Have you ever experienced such issue and do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?

I don't know, yet as I haven't played with it, but food delivery is bugged out, too. Let the bug fest begin. I love how much is bugged already. It wouldn't be sims without bugs.

OK after building a pond placing fish in said pond. I was able to catch said fish. The rate seems to be lower, but I did catch them.

So far my sim is catching fish out of his pond. He had to go and catch them first and the click on the fishing sign to manage pond and then click the fish in his inventory he wanted to add. Then he went fishing.

Interesting, do you have any mods? If so they may be the issue. I tested with a fresh save to see what was up and had no issues. If you have zero mods, then try deleting the Localthumbcache.package file in your Sims 4 folder. Also try repairing the game. Weird glitches can happen after a update. These steps normally help resolve them

Thank you for an advice, Ive deleted Localthumbcache.package and repaired the game, but the issue is still there:/ Would you have more suggestions?

Edited to add I just checked for an official bug report for what you are experiencing and came up empty. That doesn't mean it isn't a bug, just that I couldn't find a report on it. If the fresh save doesn't let you save only thing left after removing all mods/CC, deleting the localthumbcashe, and repairing the game is a factory reset. Here is a link on how to do that.

Are you stocking fish from Build/Buy or are you clicking on the sign and stocking fish that you’ve already caught or “discovered” through conversation?

Hi, with the fishing sign. The ones from Buil/Buy are only decorative.

If you are in buy/build in the tools the fishing sign there with all the other things like the alligator, tadpole, duck, etc that spawns, that sign is the sign you need.
I am not home, when I get home I will video it.

I'm having the same problem, both with previously saved games and with a new game. After I've stocked the pond, I get the option to Manage the fish. There's no option to go fishing.
