Introduction

Well, hello there!
I'm Yuna Yagi (right) and this lovely man at my side is my husband, Yutaka.
We are the hapless souls whom Watcher created for this Life States Dynasty (officially named "How Many Life States in Your World Dynasty) challenge.

Our family name is Yagi, which means "goat" in Japanese.
It's a stretch, we know, but we will be producing 45 "kids," sooo... (No need to smile politely!)
Anywaaay--


Watcher: Here's your new place at Arid Ridge in Oasis Springs.
Gimme a sec while I get you your tent, grill, and cooler.

Yuna: I KNOW you didn't just say "tent, grill and cooler" to us, Watcher!
If you want Yutaka and I to raise 45 kids, we're gonna need a "real house," right from the start. *stomps foot

And that, my friends, is how we ended up in this little house with a covered front porch.


It's not much for now, just a 32-tile Micro House to kickstart our soon-to-follow garden.
As you've probably guessed, we'll later expand the house to the left so the porch will be at the center.



I'm a witch with the Spellcraft & Sorcery aspiration.
Yutaka and I head to Magic HQ, so I can meet the sages.
Of course, I also want to learn spells and potion recipes and boost my Magic rank.


Yutaka is not an occult sim.
He brings along three skill books to start on his Nerd Brain aspiration.
When he's done reading, he'll fish for fertilizer.


Wednesday
My aspiration requires me to reach the fifth magic rank, Virtuoso.
Thanks to Morgyn's surprise morning visit and training, I'm now a Rank 4 Master.

At this point, I switch gears and start painting.
Why? Because Yutaka needs to buy and build a rocketship.
We'll also need funds to expand our home for our first tribe of kids.
Why tribe?  Well, because it's one of the collective nouns for goats.
Moving right along...


Thursday
My slim shoulders bear the heavy financial burden willingly.
This evening, a rocketship kit awaits Yutaka on his return from work in the Scientist career.
What a surprise to learn that L. Faba, Sage of Mischief, is Yutaka's co-worker and good friend!


Saturday
By 7 pm on Saturday, I'm getting closer to Virtuoso rank with Sage Simeon's training.
I'm sure to finish my Spellcraft & Sorcery aspiration tonight.
On the other hand, Yutake still needs to max Logic but he's currently only Level 8.


Sunday
I finished my aspiration before midnight Saturday, but Yutake doesn't finish Nerd Brain until 3:49 am on Sunday.
We immediately both switch our aspirations to Fabulously Wealthy.
If each child needs $20+k at move out, Yutaka and I need to get our finances sorted!

To my profound embarrassment, Yutaka and I are trying for baby in the backyard.
Watcher's to blame!!! She moved our bed outdoors, claiming it'd be easier than trying for a good screenshot inside our micro house.

Yutaka: On the bright side, Yuna dear, we're going to be parents soon!

Haha, despite the restarts, they still ended up finishing their aspirations by Sunday, although considerably wealthier.
You were smart to delay your papa sim joining the Scientist career; mine worked 4 days (Tue-Fri) but only earned one promotion. 
You know I was secretly hoping for an abduction. Guess they need to wait to get a satellite dish.
I hope you'll be posting screenshots of your Life States household, too!

Tribe 1, Part 1

Week 2, Monday
Yuna: Yutaka and I couldn't adopt right away after finishing our aspirations.  We were too poor.
So we spent most of Saturday earning enough to renovate our house.
Very early Sunday morning, we tried for baby then adopted three children.

We now live in a 64-tile Tiny House with three toddlers.


Wednesday.
Around 4 am, I go to the hospital alone to give birth.
Since I didn't leave out bassinets before leaving home, the hospitals provided them.
It looks like our firstborn son is a spellcaster like me!



By Wednesday evening, we have three children and three toddlers.
No room for an alienboo this time around.


As if to mock us, the aliens abduct Yutaka that same evening. 
Thanks, aliens!  You're like 19 hours too late!


Thursday
Our triplets are incredibly adorable!
From left to right in order of birth: Isao, Makoto, and.
All three have my green eyes but only Isao is a born-spellcaster.


Gilberto is the second child we adopted.
He's quite besotted with Nanami Ito, but I have other plans for Mt. Komorebi's Ito family in Mt. Komorebi.

Gilberto: So who am I gonna marry, Papa?
Yutaka: Um, you'll probably stay single to better focus on your career.


Friday
Yuna: Tribe 1 consists of 2 girlls (Jo & Matilda) plus 4 boys.(Gilberto & the triplets).
Gilberto is our first child to age up to a teen.  That's the lovely Matilda passing by.

Matilda (to herself0: No offense, big brother, but maybe you could jog?.


The first of the triplets to age up, Isao is a cheeky  Social Butterfly.
For his BFF, he ignores his entire family and becomes BFFs with Kaori Nishidake.

Isao: Mama, Mama!  I think I'm in luuuuuuv.


Saturday
After spending the afternoon at Desert Blossom Park, we come to South Square Coffee.
There are usually always adults to befriend here!
Our other three kids?  They're at home to work on their skills, natch.


Week 3, Monday
After a busy weekend, we celebrated several birthdays.
Yesterday, Gilberto aged up to a young adult and joined the Culinary career.
Also,yesterday, Jo, Matilda, and Makoto aged up to teens.
Jin and Isao aged up respectively on Monday morning and late Monday night.
Between Yutaka's maxed Logic my maxed Painting, and our Mentor reward trait, the children maxed the Mental and Painting skills especially fast.

Wow, you're doing great! I think the first group of kids teaches you what to do and what not to do.

I'm still not sure what I'm doing.  I've been too focused on early age-ups, but I think it's better to spend more time on character values in the child stage.
Good Manners and Conflict Resolution, for example, are easier to build as children than as teens.

Tribe 1, Part 2

It's me, mama Yuna again.
You don't mind if I'm always the one chatting, do you?
I'm the only family member who doesn't work or attend school, so I see everything!
In this episode, our five teens also age up to young adults.


Week 3, Tuesday
Isao autonomously asks to bring Kaori home after his first day at high school.
Amidst the chaos of our Spring Equinox holiday, he steals a First Kiss!

Matilda also becomes a young adult tonight and joins the Tech Guru career.


Thursday
Isao stays home from school to finish working on his character values.
Once he ages up, he invites Kaori over and ages her up, too.

Thanks to Gilberto and Matilda for teaching responsibility to their siblings.
By nightfall, all the kids are gainfully-employed young adults.


But we are getting ahead of ourselves.
Isao and Kaori got engaged this evening!


Isao's explained to Kaori that he needs three career promotions before he can move in with her.
But Kaori's eager to start a family nonetheless.  Yutaka and I approve!


At 11 pm,  Gilberto returns home with his third career promotion.
He's already maxed three skills and made three good friends.
So, he's our very first baby to leave the nest!
Seeking an affordable lot so he can have a fancy kitchen and entertaining area, he moves to north Newcrest.


Friday
In the evening, we go out to celebrate Matilda's third career promotion.
She still needs two more maxed skills and two good friends.
But her recent engagement to Marcus "Non-Committal" Flex offers a strong incentive to get everything done.


Week 4, Sunday
Matilda: I max Programming at last and move out around 4 a.m.
As much as I love Marcus, his Partihaus in downtown Windenburg is not for me!

My first-trimester baby bump and I are now happily living in east Newcrest.
It's a small house with a pool out front.
Crossing my fingers for a merboo!


Monday
Yuna: Our remaining four children are all preparing to move out this week.
Jin will no doubt be the next to complete all his requirements.
But he's engaged to Lia Hauata in Sulani where he wishes to live as a merman.

So, he'll need to let Jo move out first as a human.


Jo met Johnny Zest through work since they're both aspiring comedians.
Now that they're officially engaged, Jo gives Johnny a cheeky makeover.


Wednesday
Surprisingly, both Jin and Jo failed to earn their third promotions yesterday.
Luckily for Jin the future merboi, his brother Makoto's ready to move out as a human (following mermaid Matilda).

Makoto is our first child to get married!
By the time he works up the nerve to propose to Sofia Bjergsen, it's already past 3 a.m.!
Makoto's off to live in The Lighthouse with Sofia's family in Windenburg.


At 2 pm, Jin brings home his third promotion and becomes a Level 5 Gardener.
He eats mermaid kelp and asks his fiancee Lia over, then they wed in their formal wear.
Jin moves out as soon as their ceremony ends  *sniffle, sniffle


Soon after, Lia texts me this photo of Jin, living his dream life in Sulani.


Poor Jo!  She earns her 3rd job promotion tonight, two nights later than she expected.
Look how big she is already in her third trimester! 
When she gets home at 10 pm, the first thing she does is invite over Johnny.
As soon as he knocks on the front door, she asks him to elope.  She's left with Johnny for Slipshod Mesquite!


On Yutaka's return from work, we both switch aspirations to Big Happy Family.
By the time Jo's moved out, we've adopted three children (right to left): Danny, Madelynn, and Sage.

Isao's done with all his requirements but he's staying home for the weekend.
His presence will ensure that I don't have triplets again.


The next time we meet, I'm hoping to introduce you to our newborn daughter(s)!
Until then, I'll be binging strawberries like crazy.  Wish me luck!

P.S. Sorry for throwing a dizzying number of names at you.  It can't be helped--we're in the processing of raising forty-five kids!

Wow, you got everyone in relationships? I am a lazy watcher. LOL. One of mine nearly got engaged, but he was turned down and I didn't want to wait before moving him out. I can't wait to see the next tribe!

Yeah, I managed to get 5 out of 6 kids engaged.  If romancing takes too long, I'm not above placing an incense burner to light sandalwood incense to make the couple flirty quicker, haha.
I think mermaid Matilda and Marcus look really cute together and will have gorgeous kids, but downtown Windenburg's not a good environment for merfolk, soooo....

Tribe 2, Part 1


Week 4, Thursday
Yuna: Yutaka takes the day off today to help with the toddlers we recently adopted as nooboos.
We also make good progress with our Big Happy Family aspiration.

Week 5, Sunday
This morning, I give birth to a baby girl, who we name Akemi.
So much for worrying about triplets!

Isao and Kaori get married in our backyard soon after.
He's the last of our Tribe 1 children to move out.  Don't be a stranger, Isao!


Here, you can see our little Akemi.
Both Kaori and our daughter Matilda had twins.
So, Yutaka and I will complete Big Happy Family later today.

If Yutaka and I appear a little more haggard than usual, it's our age.
We celebrated our adult birthdays last month, six days apart.


Laster that day, Akemi ages up to a toddler.

Monday
It's no surprise that Madelynn is the first to age up.
When her siblings age up, I'll give them all makeovers at the same time.

Today we celebrate the summer season with a holiday!
Akemi's siblings all attend high school, but she starts grade school tomorrow.


Thursday
\We're all so proud of Yutaka!  He maxed his Scientist career to become an Extraterrestrial Explorer.
He immediately buys himself the Professional Slacker trait so he won't need to go to The Lab anymore.
The whole family's happy to have more time to spend with him.
(He did use the Wishing Well once, receiving a guaranteed promotion. tl Level 8 Scientist)


It seems like we're not the only ones who want to celebrate Yutaka's career promotion.


Friday
Yuna: So you're a teen and an aspiring Painter Extraordinaire.
Shouldn't you work on your character values instead of your aspiration?

Akemi: I thought about it and decided I want to get two more expensive traits.
I could just barely afford to buy Creative Visionary and Marketable.
Now, I need 500 more satisfaction to buy my third trait!


Yuna: I've been asking my children to invite over their townie friends who live in houses.
Not all at once, mind you, but one by one.

The network might come in handy for future matchmaking.
For example, Madelynn's friend Morgan Fyres would make a great catch for one of my kids!


Saturday
We are spending the weekend in Granite Falls.
We're specifically looking for false morel mushrooms, bees, and will o' wisps.
Since our boy Sage is learning Herbalism, he'd like to craft an Elixir of Fertility for Yutaka.

As you know, male sims can't receive a fertility massage, so we're trying this "for science"!


Sage is absolutely smitten with the reclusive Hermit of the Deep Forest.
They both share a love of the outdoors and a passion for herbalism.
Learning that he and Levi can never live together, Sage vows to live as an eternal bachelor.



Week 6, Sunday
It's almost 2 am when Sage finally spots some Will o' Wisp in the Deep Forest.
Now we can go home and nobody will miss work on Sunday!

Since Yutaka got abducted three nights ago, he'll probably go into labor tomorrow night.
Will Sage able to max his Herbalism skill in time to craft an Elixir of Fertility?
Watcher's other sims have never used an Elixir of Fertility before.
Will it have the desired effect on Yutaka? We're hoping for twins.

2.2: Tribe 2, Part 2


Week 6, Sunday
Yuna: In the late afternoon, Madelynn and Sage earn their third promotions.
All our kids are young adults now, since Akemi aged up yesterday in Granite Falls.


Jacques Villareal from Windenburg has had his eye on our Danny who's in the Criminal career.
Today, Jacque phones about Danny moving in to help with his "family business."
Danny's all over that offer; he's been BFFs with Luna Villareal since high school


It takes hours, but Sage finally maxes Herbalism.
Meanwhile, I've been using the CopyPasto spell on the Elixir of Fertility's ingredients.
Sage crafts three of them, giving two to his father.


Yutake drinks one Elixir of Fertility then another one 30 minutes later.
How disappointing that he gets no moodlet whatsoever!
How do we know how the elixir works and how long it lasts?  Oh well.


Monday
By this time, it's past midnight and Madelynn's fiance Malcolm grows sleepy.
They decide to quickly elope.
Yes, she's marrying into the Landgraab family.
Madelynn's a politician - what did you expect?


Akemi, now in the Painter career, had been learning Parenting as her third skill.
But Yutaka suggests we save that skill for a child who's an aspiring Super Parent.
I agree.  Akemi makes a much better Pipe Organist than a Parent, anyway.


Sage: I was initially thinking to let Danny move out first.
His wife's estate, you know, has a huge pool so Danny could easily be a merman.

But I couldn't wait.  The 'rents give me nearly 40 grand and I spend every penny!
I'm living in east Newcrest, next door to my mermaid sister Matilda.

Danny has today off but still needs one more promotion left.
He makes productive use of his time so that he can move out right away.
Congratulations on your engagement, Danny and Luna!


Tuesday
Yutaka goes into labor around midnight.
He gives birth to a wee girl we name Lyra.
A single birth despite his Fertility trait, two Elixirs of Fertility, and three household openings!

By noon, Lyra ages up to a toddler.


Akemi's been friends with Taku Akiyama of Mt. Komorebi since grade school.
In fact, after each of her birthdays, she's aged up Taku as well.
So now they're both young adults.

To move out, Akemi still needs one more promotion and a good friend.
Will Taku and Akemi's relationship remain forever platonic?


Oh, I guess not….


Then, around 10 pm, this happens.
We really need to get the ball rolling on our next tribe of kids.
We'll wait until Danny moves out.


Wednesday
Danny earns his final promotion and phones Luna to come over.
What a lovely couple they6 make!


Does this mean the Villareal gangland empire will one day be Danny's?
Yutaka, we need to get another child in the criminal career!

For today,  though, let's both switch our aspiration to Super Parent then phone the adoption agency.


Akemi works a 9 to 5 shift in her painter career today.
By the time she gets home, Lyra has aged up  to a grade-schooler.
And we've aged our two adoptees, Lonnie, and Lorna, into toddlers.

Also, I'm sure I'm pregnant but I won't take a pregnancy test until tomorrow.
(Hopefully, I won't forget!).


Talk about not forgetting, I barely remember to  offer Akemi the Rite of Ascension.
As a spellcaster, she weds  Taku Akiyama and moves with him to Mt. Komorebi.

As for Lyra, Yutaka conceived her before our 24-hour window for Tribe 3.
So we consider Lyra a our youngest child of Tribe 2.
