Goal
Now that Sims have likes and dislikes you can create for them those days when your younger brother always played heavy metal, which you hated. Or maybe the person in the apartment above you was always working out. Or maybe your neighbor was always pounding on the wall when you played your favorite Winter Holiday music in July. In this challenge, your household of 4 to 8 Sims will develop their own likes and dislikes. Will it be a harmonious household, with everyone dancing to S-pop? Maybe yes, maybe no. You'll have 2 Sim weeks to find out.


General Challenge Rules

• The General Challenge Rules always apply. If applicable, exceptions will be listed below.

Specific Challenge Rules

• In CAS, create 4 to 8 YA Sims, any lifestate.
• Sims can have any traits and aspirations, but you may not assign any likes or dislikes.
• Likes and dislikes can only be given when you get a pop-up from the Sim, and you must respond in the affirmative.
• No adding to the household and no moving out Sims.
• You are allowed to use the Buydebug cheat for the sole purpose of purchasing a satellite to prevent abductions.
• The Challenge concludes on Week 3, Day 1, at 8 am.

Scoring

You can find each Sim's likes and dislikes in their profile section, where their traits are. To look at your household as a whole, go to Map View and click on your household. Click on each Sim, then click on the icon underneath their aspiration.

L & D — Go through and write down each activity or music liked, and count the number of Sims who like it. Do the same for dislikes.

Opposites — For oppositions, multiply the number of Sims who like an activity by the number who dislike it.

Total — Your final score is your L & D + Opposites.

Example: Painting is liked by 2 Sims and disliked by 1. Fitness is liked by 1 Sim and disliked by 1. Classical music is liked by 1 Sim and disliked by 2. New Age music is disliked by 1 Sim.

Correct. In the scoring example in the rule set you have the one Sim with a New Age music dislike with no other Sim having a New Age music like. That's not figured into the opposites scoring.

Yeah, I cannot wait to see Simone Biles attempt some never-before-attempted moves. And I think surfing will be a first for the summer Olympics. But, no spectators at all in the stands? That will be weird.

The gang had 11 likes/dislikes and 10 points for opposites.  Their total is 21.

Well, this was more challenging than I thought it would be.

My Sims finished with 9 likes & Dislikes. No opposites so my total was 9

I was able to match Marian's effort. This turned out harder than I thought.
