Moving Sims 4 from C drive to External Drive

Is it possible to move Sims 4 from the C drive to an external hard drive on an HP laptop and, if so, how is it done?

Here's another tutorial on it (by a trusted friend of mine) but please keep in mind this is something to do at your own risk. Backup any files first!
