An Immortal Island Goddess Dynasty (ENDED - Gen. 6)

Hey! This is my first time posting on the forum. I've been an avid Simmer for a long time...a long, long time...and I love legacy & dynasty challenges, but this is my first go at making a story on the forum. I'm open to any tips and feedback!

I don't usually see any immortal dynasties on Sulani, so that's where our story begins (and stays for 8 generations). I'd also like to see some more diverse & inclusive dynasty stories, so all the founder/heir-spouse relationships are going to be female-female. Every Sim in the house will be female. Going with that, the founder/heirs will have the names of Greek goddesses because I can't function without a theme why not.

Let's start with our founder, Hera Goddess. Her traits are Child of the Islands, Family-Oriented, and Jealous. She has the Soulmate and Master Mixologist aspirations - she'll be a mixologist and max the cooking, gourmet cooking, and mixology skills. Her spouse will take care of gardening and fishing for ambrosia ingredients.

The dynasty lives on a bulldozed version of Sulani's plane crash lot (Admiral's Wreckage, Off the Grid lot trait removed). Hopefully it'll shape up to be a nice, secluded paradise for 8 immortal ladies...(building has never been my strong suit).

First order of immortal business was signing Hera up for the culinary career. Then she started mixing her first drinks. I kept waiting for her welcome wagon to show up, but no one ever came! Maybe the lot is a little too secluded. Cons of owning your own private island. But Hera made the best of the situation and went out to chat with a Sim fishing nearby. Pretty sure she's one of the resident premade mermaids, but I'm also pretty sure she's evil. Not great for a suitable spouse.

The two did chat for a while and become friends before the mermaid...walked into the water and left. Conversation over, I guess.

Hera then used her Child of the Islands trait to commune with the island Elementals. I've never actually done that before, and nothing seemed to happen...except the new computer was mysteriously being used. Maybe Hera and the Elementals were having conversations I couldn't hear. Maybe something about the island's secret to immortality...

After chatting with the Elementals, Hera had newfound purpose. She marched to the local bar and looked for potential friends and spouses. She was having a good time, chatting up the locals, when the most STUNNING Sim walked by. Hera knew she had to meet her.

Nalani Mahi'ai was in a flirty mood, so Hera flirted right back. It didn't take long for the two to kiss. Nalani had to go, and apparently, so did another Sim. Riding their bike in the water.

Hera spent the next few days working on her career and going on dates with Nalani. First, Nalani called and asked her out to Myshuno Meadows. Unfortunately, this was right after Hera's first shift, and she was desperately filthy. Apparently that was a big turn-off, since Nalani refused most of her romantic interactions. Who would've thought. But then I spotted a bathtub nearby, and Hera cleaned up. Clean Hera was able to successfully woohoo Nalani.

A day or so later, Nalani called to go on ANOTHER date to Myshuno Meadows. This time, Hera was starving (it was about 9AM), so she spent most of the date trying to cook eggs but getting blocked by pathing issues. Still, the two become official girlfriends and were close to full friendly and romantic relationships. Hera was eyeing the wedding arch nearby in the park, but she had to go to work before anything could happen...

Good thing the next day was Love Day! Hera woke up, showered, and ate before she asked Nalani on a date to the lounge in Brindleton Bay (Myshuno Meadows just seemed unlucky). She really enjoyed her morning pancakes, I guess.

The two enjoyed the spring day, even swimming and kissing in the pool before Hera finally popped the question. She explained what the Elementals had told her – the island's ancient secret for immortality. The elixir could only be consumed by Sims who were worthy and put in the work to become immortal. The Elementals had told Hera that she and her daughters had the potential to become immortal, if they were willing to work hard during their mortal life. But Hera still needed Nalani for this to work.

Nalani agreed, even though it meant she would still die eventually. She loved Hera, and she trusted the island's spirits. So the two immediately got married under the strategically nearby wedding arch. In their swimsuits.

And now the dynasty really begins.

The newlyweds are doing well. Nalani got the Goddess makeover (aka color-coded) and joined the diver part-time career. Just to bring in some money on the side, and it fits well with her Child of the Islands and Child of the Ocean traits. She’s also Cheerful. She’ll focus most of her time on fishing for angelfish and gardening to grow deathflowers. She already started her garden with the local Sulani plants she could collect and the starter seed packets.

Nalani had to give up being a mermaid to be a part of the dynasty. It was worth it to be with Hera and be the matriarch of such an important family. She ate two mermadic kelps that Hera purchased with reward points and left her mermaid life behind. I took off Nalani’s tattoo as a symbolic gesture. But she looks great still and seems happy.

In the meantime, Hera hasn’t been doing as well as her wife. She keeps missing promotions by a hair, and when she was finally going to get promoted, she got sent home from work early for no apparent reason. Frustrating. But in good news, Nalani brought $20,000 in with her, so the house got an expansion and upgrade.

To work on Hera’s Soulmate aspiration, Hera took Nalani on a date to the Romance Festival. It was the island girls’ first trip in the big city (not counting Myshuno Meadows). Hera wore her work outfit and Nalani wore her swimsuit. Fashionable, this household.

Being back in the city got Hera thinking. She wasn’t always a Sulani resident. When she was a baby, her parents took her on a vacation to Sulani. They left their San Myshuno apartment and boarded a plane. But the plane crashed right before landing in Sulani. Her parents didn’t make it, and she was too young to really remember them. The island pitched in to take care of her and raise her, and Hera will forever love the island community for that. It wasn’t long before Hera was a true islander, buying her own empty plot of land on Mua Pel’am, the most remote island in Sulani. The same plot of land where her parents’ plane once crashed. That plot had more history and future than Hera could have imagined.

But enough of that. In the present, Hera was just happy to be with her wife. And Nalani was happy about all the flowers for harvest at the festival. Snapdragon found! The two chatted and flirted, then Nalani decided to sing a solo on the karaoke machine. Hera just texted on her phone. City living, baby.

The next day, Hera got invited to the flea market by a friend she made at the karaoke bar last night. She traded a MySims trophy for…another trophy, then haggled her way into 25% off some metals. Nalani went elsewhere in San Myshuno and bought some more stuff to plant, along with some crystals. And everyone played basketball together.

Hera finally got her promotion at the end of the day! To celebrate…

Heir #1 is on the way! I decided to have the founder/heirs get pregnant rather than the spouses. Hera immediately starting listening to pop (although she prefers island radio) and popping strawberries that Nalani had bought the day before.

Should a pregnant Sim really be mixing (and tasting) so many drinks?

During the pregnancy, the Goddesses threw a great Kava party. I guess Kava is safe to be consumed by pregnant Sims.

To knock out two birds with one stone, for Hera’s Soulmate aspiration and for Nalani’s Beach Life aspiration, they went on a date to the beach. Nalani subnathed in the nude while two pregnant Sims watched. She then stayed nude…and built a sandcastle. I finally changed her into clothes because too many Sims were staring.

Then Nalani ate a hamburger in the sand. Next to a perfectly fine picnic table. And her pregnant wife peed herself. All in all, it was a great date.

Not too long after all that excitement, the Goddesses had even more exciting news. Meet our first heir. Gaia, goddess of the Earth. She’ll be the family gardener & fisher once Nalani dies, along with joining the conservationist career to clean up the islands around the family. The trash and algae are unsightly.

Just for reference - Hera is the goddess of goddesses, essentially. The perfect matriarch for an immortal dynasty.

To celebrate baby Gaia’s arrival, Hera and Nalani threw a house party the next day. At one point, a tanned Nalani was double-fisting drinks. But it was only a silver party. I find house parties are the hardest to get gold on. Everyone still had a great time, though.

A few days later, Gaia aged up to toddler. She looks very much like our founder with her hair color and those green eyes. She’s such a cute toddler!

She has her mother Nalani’s affinity for being naked on beaches. And at home.

To work on the wives’ aspirations (Soulmate for Hera and Beach Life for Nalani), the family went to the beach for the day. Hera taught Gaia her toddler skills while Nalani was the grillmaster that all dads dream of being.

Harvestfest rolled around and was uneventful. It was thundering all day, so the Goddesses stayed inside. Except at night, Hera and Nalani autonomously chose to WooHoo in the waterfall! Hera was very panicked about the whole ordeal and nearly backed out, but in the end…love found a way.

One more date and this love got even stronger - Hera’s Soulmate aspiration was complete.

In even more exciting news, Gaia aged up to child. Her toddler years really flew by. Here are some before and after pics. She looks like Hera in all ways except that she has Nalani’s skin tone. She got the Genius trait.

Hera did a lot of the heavy lifting during the toddler stage to get Gaia to level 5 in all toddler skills, and now Nalani has been doing most of the childhood work (helping with homework, reading to her for her mental aspiration, etc). Nalani also aged up to adult, and Hera threw a gold medal birthday party to celebrate.

Then came the Goddesses’ first Winterfest! On a sunny, warm, beautiful island. That’s the only downside of playing Seasons in Sulani - they all blend together, and the holidays don’t feel as…holiday-ish. So they took some time to see some snow in…oops. Oasis Springs. It didn’t occur to me that it wouldn’t be very wintery there either. But they had a good time - Hera and Gaia played chess while Nalani fished. I made sure to keep an eye on the child/teen females for any potential future spouses for Gaia.

The Goddesses finally saw some good snow a few days later at the Spice Festival. Nalani harvested plants while Hera and Gaia made the world’s ugliest snowpal. Then they all enjoyed a nice family fight. Snowball fight, of course.

Gaia has been doing well on her immortal requirements. She completed her childhood Whiz Kid aspiration, and now she’s working on her fishing skill. It’s cute to watch her and Nalani fish and swim together, although I STILL have yet to find any angelfish…

Hera also aged up to adult, which I totally missed. She was sad about her lack of birthday. But she’s doing well immortal-wise. She has a good rotation of friends that I’ve managed to keep, and she’s at level 8 of her mixology career and at levels 6-8 for her skills. And she still manages to have time for her family, like this family dance party.

It feels weird to have Gaia go from infant to teen in one update considering I wrote paragraphs about how Hera and Nalani met, but oh well. It’s time for Gaia’s teen birthday party (actually a house party that just happens to include birthday cake, since Hera already has a gold medal birthday party under her belt). It was fun nonetheless. Spot the birthday girl before her makeover…

She actually is a nice blend of her mothers. She has Hera's eye and hair color, but Nalani's skin tone and face shape, I think. She's shaping up to be a great first heir.

Also - if anyone has any advice/ideas on how to increase photo quality, I'm all ears. I can't seem to get the resolution any better when uploading it to the forum.

On to the story -

Gaia’s teen years are going well. A lot of her friends are still children, so I haven’t made up my mind on any potential spouses. The wives are doing well too - Nalani caught her first angelfish! And Hera is at level 9 of her career with 3/4 of her adult life left. Now I just need to get Nalani to level 10 gardening so she can buy rare seed packets with deathflowers.

The Goddesses threw a “dinner” party (at 9AM, before Hera’s shift at 4PM) to celebrate all of their successes. After, Nalani and Gaia went to the Romance Festival for any new harvestables. Gaia had a blast. Nalani was…a little reserved. Maybe wondering about her precious baby girl growing up and dancing at parties…or because she was grossed out by using the public bathroom.

I caught Gaia drinking one of Hera’s creations the next day, so maybe she WILL grow up to be a wild child.

Nalani achieved her lifetime aspiration of Beach Life by…falling asleep in a floater. Her daughter was feeling a bit more active, suiting of a future Marine Biologist.

Gaia does have quite an attitude for a teen. She refused to move and let Hera enjoy her time in the kiddie pool.

But she also has a soft side, spending her time fishing at the Willow Creek library with Nalani.

The Goddesses have been enjoying success after success lately. Nalani reached level 10 gardening and fishing, and she planted a deathflower from a rare seed packet. It’s fall now and the plant will bloom in winter, perfect timing for Hera’s ambrosia. Speaking of Hera, she reached level 10 mixology and achieved her Master Mixologist aspiration. Now she just needs to finish her career, which should take just one more shift, and get her two cooking skills to level 10. She’s at 9 now for both. Look how proud she is!

Daughter Gaia has a bit of skill in gardening, fishing, logic, and fitness, all of which she’ll need for her career and aspirations. And she got all of her scout badges!

Time flew by and it’s Gaia’s young adult birthday, the first social event she’s ever hosted. It was a big success, gold medal, the works. She got her young adult makeover, which is pretty much the same as her teen wardrobe. I have plans to makeover the house once she’s the sole Sim working on immortal requirements, but right now, Hera is still the priority.

Nalani and Hera aged up to elder soon after Gaia’s birthday. Hera only had to max her career with one more shift, with took another day. We have our first immortal! I gave her a tattoo to signify her immortality. It’s easy to see in her athletic outfit. Look at the happy immortal!

This marked a change in ownership. Gaia is now in control of the house. I’ve decided not to entirely redo the house for each heir, but just change some colors. Although the house definitely needs an expansion. I’ll keep the tropical/island theme. And each immortal will have a bedroom with their museum items - Hera is contributing 8 Sulani items (Heart, Finger, and Eye of Sulani).

And on that note, the era of Gaia begins.

The new Sims update dropped! New hair colors, likes/dislikes, and most excitingly, Sims won’t endlessly cook food and then ignore it. Finally. We have too many hamburgers floating around this house.

I gave the Goddesses some likes and dislikes. Hera and Nalani both like green (duh) and island music. Hera has the cooking and mixology hobbies, while Nalani and Gaia both have fitness, gardening, and fishing. I might add to Hera’s as her immortal life goes on. Gaia likes the color blue and blues music.

Speaking of Gaia, she just started university - a distinguished biology degree from Foxbury. She’ll be taking 3 courses per term, so it will take 4 weeks for her to get all 12 credits and finish her degree. I think that will work well for her and the other heirs. Hera didn’t go to university because there is no degree for mixology.

Hera and Nalani have both retired. I find it’s hard to keep track of when which immortals have to go to work. Better to just sit back and enjoy the immortal life.

In the meantime, Gaia went to a soccer game, but nothing really happened. Wasted 3 Sim hours and no moodlet. And she was too stinky afterwards (from a jog earlier) to go to the bars and meet some students, so she had to head home. She played chess by herself. Boring start to university…

Until the next day was Neighborhood Brawl! I don’t usually participate in this random holiday, but Gaia was all about it. She went to the Britechester library to work on homework over the weekend, and she ended up getting into 4 fights. Malcolm Landgraab started it. Who could NOT fight him?

Next came a pretty young adult named Houda…they had a friendly fight and laughed about it afterwards. Is this love?

Maybe it IS love, because Gaia invited Houda to the Romance Festival after the fights. They flirted a little bit while Gaia harvested flowers.

The next day, Houda invited Gaia on a date. Even though Houda did the asking out, she was pretty surprised when Gaia kissed her. This might be our spouse, folks.

Gaia returned the favor soon after and asked Houda on a gold medal date. The two officially became girlfriends. I did learn that Houda is Mean and an Art-Lover…oh well.

Bad traits or not, Houda seems to love her girlfriend. She asked Gaia on ANOTHER date the next day, on Winterfest. It was beautiful and snowing in Brindleton Bay. The two reached full friendship and romance (my personal goal before Sim marriage), so Gaia gathered her courage and proposed. Funny enough, they were at Club Calico, the same place Hera proposed to (and married) Nalani all that Sim time ago. Maybe all of the immortals will get engaged here. Don't mind the rando in the back.

Gaia and Houda had a small ceremony (aka nobody showed up) at the Goddess house, in the garden. Before the ceremony, Gaia chatted with Nalani while Hera mentored the lone guest on the treadmill. But the actual ceremony was lovely. Look at the two beautiful lovebirds.

Houda moved in and got the Goddess spouse makeover. Along with Mean and Art-Lover, she’s Family-Oriented. Her aspiration is Successful Lineage. I’ve never done this one in a dynasty…the hard part is that last step of getting a child to the top of their career. I’m not sure if Scouting counts. I don’t think so. But I doubt the next heir will have enough time as a teen to complete Scouts AND a teen part-time job. Not even sure if teen jobs count. I’ll have to think about that. I have a tentative idea for now, but if anyone has any help/info, please let me know. That would help me a lot.

But regardless - introducing Houda Goddess! I gave her the likes blue, classical music, and painting. She’ll be a freelance artist, giving her plenty of time to care for a child. She’s obviously a great artist already.

Gaia is adorable pregnant. She spent the weekend doing homework while Houda made digital sketches for gigs. Look at the happy family!

New Year’s Eve came up soon, and a pregnant Gaia showed off her baby bump to her friends. Gotta keep those 6 good friends in mind. While a very pregnant Gaia chatted up her friends, I found Hera and Nalani autonomously doing a keg stand while Houda sipped some juice, probably wondering what she’d gotten herself into with this family.

A few moments later…Nalani went for her last treadmill run before collapsing onto the ground. Rest in peace, Nalani Goddess.

But with the loss of life comes the birth of a new one.

Hera and Houda dote on Aphrodite while Gaia works on her courses. She joined the Brainiacs and does some extra studying to get in their good graces. Houda is also working on her painting skill. For level 7, the art is…interesting.

It’s a shame that Nalani died right before Aphrodite was born. She would have loved the little girl. Ghost Nalani came out and broke the bath in her sadness, then very politely took out the trash.

Aphrodite aged up to toddler pretty soon. Isn’t she cute? Hera’s bright green eyes ended in Gaia, apparently. Aphrodite looks just like Houda.

Gaia is doing well in her courses. She maxed gardening to finish the Freelance Botanist aspiration, and she keeps fit. Oh, does she look a little different?

Welcome to the world, baby Venus!

I decided to have 2 kids this generation to have the non-heir (Venus) have a teen part-time job for Houda’s Successful Lineage aspiration. Venus is the Roman version of Aphrodite, the goddess of love of beauty. Aphrodite will be the dynasty’s painter, along with maxing the charisma and writing skills. She’ll have the Stylist career.

I don’t really ever have 2 kids in the Sims, so we’ll see how this goes! But they are awfully cute together, especially now that Venus is a toddler. They both share the color pink. Aphrodite is a Charmer while Venus is Independent. I think Venus will be a musician and play the violin.

Venus looks just like Hera and Gaia, hair and eye color-wise. She has a narrower face than Aphrodite.

Besides motherhood, Gaia is also working to clean the shores of Sulani from wrongdoers like this fish poacher. She farted in the middle of the conversation. Confronting evil makes me nervous too.

All too soon, Aphrodite aged up. I had to really push that last day to get all of her skills to level 5, but she did it! She has the Creative trait and the Creativity childhood aspiration (duh). Here are her everyday and cold weather outfits.

Houda aged up to adult not long after. Gaia threw a house party to celebrate, but it only got to the silver medal. Venus also aged up to child the next day, then Gaia to adult. Venus looks more like Hera every day. She also got the Creative trait and aspiration with Aphrodite.

Gaia threw another house party for her adult birthday. Finally, a gold medal party! Hera was throwing DOWN. She loves a good party. Good thing she has infinite parties ahead of her.

If anyone was worrying about Hera, she quite enjoys her immortal life. She’s been surrounded by toddlers and now children, which suits her Family-Oriented trait well, and she gets to kick back and relax. Literally.

Meanwhile, Gaia is close to finishing her degree while her kids work on their aspirations and grades. Family homework session! Family swing session!

Soon, all the homework was over for Gaia as she became the first immortal to graduate university (with honors!). Not without fighting some of her fellow graduates first, of course.

The job hunt began soon (on the toilet, naturally). Meet the newest member of the Marine Biology career! She quickly did her first at-home mission on her fancy new sailboat thing.

It should be smooth sailing (get it?) from here on out for Gaia. Just a few last skill levels, parties, and friends to wrap up. The focus shifts now to Aphrodite on the cusp of her teen birthday.

Side note - if anyone has any suggestions/comments about the length of updates, let me know! Too short, too long, too many/too few pictures, etc. I’m looking for any feedback!

Aphrodite obviously gets her artistic talent from Houda (who, by the way, is a level 10 painter and actually produces masterpieces now).

Gaia and the girls went to the Oasis Springs park for the day to scope out potential spouses work on skills. Gaia reached max level for logic and fishing and finished her Angling Ace aspiration. Woo! Meanwhile, Venus played on the jungle gym and Aphrodite chatted up her fellow angsty teens.

Soon, on Winterfest, Venus aged up to teen. She got the Music Lover trait and Musical Genius aspiration. I do plan to move her out eventually to make the household less chaotic, but hopefully I can finish her aspiration first and use the reward points for potions of youth.

Aphrodite earned her final Scout badge…but Houda’s aspiration requirement of “have a child reach the top of a career” didn’t trigger. Good thing Venus is a part-time barista every morning before school. I didn’t realize that would entail the mixology skill, but I guess that makes sense. Hopefully Venus can rise to the top during her teen years…

The next day, Venus reached level 3 of her part-time career, which is the top. Still, Houda’s milestone didn’t trigger. I did some searching and it seems like this aspiration is buggy and/or incredibly poorly designed. I made an executive decision as author and creator of this dynasty to cheat Houda’s aspiration complete. I think getting a kid to top Scout and another to the top of a part-time career should count. And I’m not planning on taking this to the Hall of Fame - I use the MCCC mod to help population flow and autonomy (basically doing what the Sims 4 should be doing already). Technically, this mod disqualifies me from the Hall of Fame. But I’m just doing this for fun.

So…Houda’s aspiration is complete! Feels a little…eh, but whatever. Moving on.

The second immortal is ready! Gaia has a few more days in her adult life, but she finished her loose ends of friends and parties. She’ll get her immortal tattoo as an elder. For now, she’s still enjoying her adult life.

We’ll see what Aphrodite thinks. Right now, she’s focused on her young adult birthday and her first gold medal party! She got the Hot-Headed trait. Here are her everyday and party outfits.

Aphrodite and the house both got a makeover. Nothing dramatic for the house - the next heir will probably need a bigger redo to make room for everyone.

Aphrodite’s young adult life started by applying to university, then taking her sister Venus to art galleries and museums. She’s starting a distinguished Fine Arts degree at University of Britechester. She went to the university’s library to do some homework and meet friends. The Grim Reaper made an appearance when the elderly food stall worker died. That kind of brought down the whole mood.

Meanwhile, Venus’s young adult life started just a few days later. She got her Goddess YA makeover and the Gloomy trait. She’s still a Barista…not sure what (if anything) I’ll do with her career. I’m hoping to finish her Musical Genius aspiration and then move her out, so maybe I’ll just keep her as a Barista while she focuses on those goals.

Venus and Aphrodite are best of friends. They go to the Britechester library for Aphrodite to do homework and for Venus to write songs. And Aphrodite brings her sister along for her Art Society gatherings, like this figure painting lesson behind the UBrite Commons. I’m a bit concerned about the Society’s artistic skills…

The Commons had a tea & poetry session right after, so Aphrodite socialized with the artsy folk to look for friends and potential spouses. Alvetta (the teen girl Aphrodite had her first kiss with) hasn’t aged up to young adult - in fact, I think she might be buggy because I’m pretty sure there was an identical teen Alvetta in Gaia’s teen years. So Alvetta seems to be out. Aphrodite called Alvetta over and asked to just be friends, which Alvetta did not take very well. I guess it hurts to hear that a beautiful girl doesn’t want to be with you because you are glitchy and won’t age.

Not to be deterred, the Goddess of love and beauty took her sister to the Spice Festival and met some eligible bachlorettes. She found herself flirting with the guitarist between songs. But the guitarist aged up to adult that very night, which is not ideal.

The next day, Aphrodite invited her friend Kyra over. She arrived feeling angry…and for some reason, Hot-Headed Aphrodite seemed to take that as a sign. She got the whim to Schedule a Date. They went to the romantic lounge in the city. And when Kyra spontaneously dipped Aphrodite for a passionate kiss…Aphrodite was in love. They left the date as new girlfriends.

That night, the neighbors brought over some extra food and hung out. Venus seemed to be hitting off with one of the young men…

Meanwhile, Kyra asked Aphrodite out on another date to Stargazer Lounge. It’s the Myshuno Meadows of the third generation. The two quickly hit full friendship and romance bars…so Aphrodite proposed right then and there! She’d had enough searching. Kyra was the one for her. Kyra was ecstatic…even though an elder died right next to the proposal. The newly engaged went to check out what was happening. Aphrodite was over the moon about her new bride, while Kyra sobbed respectfully. Eventful proposal.

Back at home, Venus found romance of her own. Look, two generations of Goddesses kissing! Hera looks proud, but I did catch her mourning Nalani later.

Venus soon joined her sister in proposing to her beloved. Right at the turtle hatching event on the beach.

Before the wedding(s) could be planned, Aphrodite had to check off some aspiration requirements. She has the Party Animal aspiration, but before throwing parties will help her, she had to meet 10 new sims. So she went to San Myshuno after class and chatted up all the new people she could find.

Yeah, I love the way all of these Sims have turned out so far. Good genes!

The house isn't up on the gallery, but I can try and upload it. I've actually never done that before but I'm sure I can figure it out. I'm glad you like it! I'll have to do some big renovations when the next heir takes over to make room for everyone.

The Generation 3 Double Wedding Boogaloo has begun! There is cake. There are drinks aplenty. There is a special appearance by the Grim Reaper. Wait, what?

First, Venus and her beau Karson got married, her adorable baby bump showing. Then it was time for Aphrodite and Kyra. They looked beautiful. Even though it was raining, the newlyweds didn’t care. Made it more romantic! Houda is a proud mom.

Kyra moved in and got the Goddess makeover. She’s Cheerful, a Child of the Ocean, and a Geek. She has the Musical Genius aspiration, just like Venus. I’ll have her join the Entertainer career and become a Musician for the build/buy items.

After the wedding, Venus moved out of the Goddess household and into the neighbors’ house with her new husband. She and Aphrodite became BFFs right before she left. These sisters have an unbreakable bond.

The neighbors, including Venus and Karson, came over to join in mourning. Gaia and Hera became BFFs too in the wake of Houda’s passing. Meanwhile, Aphrodite marveled at Venus’ big belly. It gave Aphrodite some ideas…

The next day was Harvestfest. Whether it was pregnancy hormones or her Hot-Headed trait, Aphrodite felt the need to kick the gnomes. Well, that really angered them. They multiplied and surrounded Aphrodite, causing chaos and destruction all day. Poor Hera and Gaia had to clean up wherever Aphrodite went. And then Kyra kicked the gnomes too. What a Harvestfest!

The next day was even MORE eventful…

Meet the newest addition to the Goddess family. Artemis, the Goddess of animals and the hunt. She’ll be an engineer and bring some pets into the family, finally.

Oh, and…meet Diana! The Roman counterpart to Artemis. She was a complete surprise. Aphrodite doesn’t have the fertile reward, but here we are. Twins! And I just got through a generation with two kids…oh well. I have no idea what Diana will end up doing. Similar to Venus, I’d like her to complete her aspiration and move out as a young adult. But no idea what that aspiration will be. Maybe The Curator, related to “hunting.”

The twins quickly aged up to toddler. They look so similar! I guess that’s why they’re twins. They both have the Inquisitive trait, but Artemis is a bit more spunky while Diana is more soft-spoken (soft-babbling?).

The twins love dancing especially. Hera loves to teach them. And play with them.

Meanwhile, their moms really got into the Winterfest spirit this year.  Aphrodite has been doing homework and university projects non-stop, while Kyra has been practicing the piano, guitar, and violin.

And the Goddesses threw a massive New Year’s Eve bash for Aphrodite to connect with her friends.

It was soon time for the twins to age up. They both got the Genius trait and Whiz Kid aspiration. They look so similar, so I tried to style them differently. Artemis has a bit of a grungy edge while Diana is prim and proper.

Thank god their toddler days are over. It was exhausting. But I did manage to get Artemis to level 5 on all of her skills, so she’s right on track! Hopefully things calm down from now on. This better be the last generation of 2 kids!

Remember how I said Aphrodite has the Party Animal aspiration? Well, the very first step was buggy and wasn’t counting parties, so I'm changing it to Friend of the World. She hasn't done much for it yet, but I'm not too worried since charisma is one of her maxed skills, along with painting. She just has writing left to max out. She's around level 7. She also just needs a few more masterpieces to finish her Painter Extraordinnaire aspiration. She just turned into an adult, uneventfully.

In other news, Kyra’s a level 7 Musician and has levels 5-6 in all instruments. She hasn’t worked too much on her aspiration, but she has time.

Meanwhile, Hera and Gaia spend most of their days fishing together, chatting about the immortal life and looking for Angelfish. Then they come home for the afternoon to help Artemis and Diana with their homework and skills.

Artemis and Diana are both smart kids. They love paying chess together and experimenting on their side-by-side potions tables. They even do their homework together.

Also, Aphrodite’s first good friend besides her sister Venus (who I’ll count towards the good friends goal because they live in different households) is a girl named Lyric who’s wearing the same exact outfit as her. I think Aphrodite wears it better, no?

Speaking of Aphrodite, she finished her New Year’s resolution of completing an aspiration milestone AND finished her Painter Extraordinnaire aspiration by completing her final masterpiece, with 5 hours to spare before the resolution deadline. Not exactly what I would call a masterpiece, but I’m not the Fine Arts student.

Aphrodite and Kyra took the twins to the Willow Creek library on a summer Sunday afternoon to play on the pirate ship and work on homework and skills. The next day, Aphrodite threw a gold-medal house party to celebrate her graduation. Everyone had a blast. Look at all those empty plates.

Then came Aphrodite’s official graduation. She looks…mischevious? She invited some of her fellow graduates back to the house to make more friends. She has 13/20 friends and needs 7 more to finish her Friend of the World aspiration.

The twins became BFFs, just like Aphrodite and Venus. They’re adorable together. They love dancing with the family (and Aphrodite's good friend Minoru). They had some friends come over after school and played some video games. Diana took it much more seriously than Artemis.

And just like that, the twins aged to teen, right after completing their Whiz Kid aspirations side-by-side at their potions tables. They look identical to each other and to Aphrodite. Ever since Gaia, the Goddesses have had this characteristic wide face. I wonder where it came from. Nalani didn’t have it, but it must’ve been her, right?

Artemis is a Dog Lover, while Diana is a Cat Lover. Artemis will have the Friend of the Animals and Nerd Brain aspirations, while Diana will have The Curator. Here are their everyday and cold weather outfits.

The newly-annointed teens used the next day to visit Brindleton Bay. They gossiped for a bit, then the teens split to go pet stray dogs (Artemis) and cats (Diana). Artemis quickly became friends with a fluffy stray dog and adopted him. Welcome to the family, Atlas - the god whose shoulders carry the world.

Atlas (originally Pixel) is a Hunter, Playful, and Friendly. I think I’ll name the pets after Greek gods & goddesses as well, or maybe only adopt male animals. We’ll see.

Meanwhile, Diana played with a stray cat named Shiloh. Can you spot Gaia fishing in the background?

I guess we’re going with the male theme for pets, because Shiloh is now Styx (god of the underworld river and hatred). Seems like a harsh name, I know, but he’s a Prowler, Territorial, and Curious. I think it suits him. Look at those eyes.
