My game got stuck on the loading screen when I was trying to move out my latest YA. I waited ages in case it was just being slower than usual but in the end there was nothing I could do but force quit the sims. What do I do? Can I go back to my previous save?

Sure, that's fine.

Argh! I stuffed up again! I just aged up 2 teens but I forgot to make them call and find a part-time job first. They both would have gone straight to level 2 of the job thanks their earlier B grades, so it was literally just one phone call each that was needed. :(

I've been super diligent about double (or triple) checking the requirements ever since I stuffed up with the babies last week - I have no idea why I forgot this time. Guess I'm not so great at the focus needed for challenges even with a pretty simple ruleset like this one. I only realised my mistake as they were blowing out the candles on their cakes but when I tried to cancel their actions, it was too late.

What should I do? Is this a DNF? Count my score now (excluding those two)? Keep going but don't count those two kids at the end?

I learned something new today :)

As much as I'd like you to continue, it was ultimately player error (it happens to all of us...I failed a Dynasty multiple times back in the day), so go ahead and post your score. And thank you for being honest.

That's interesting, I never realised "stuff up" was a British/Australian-ism.

When I stuffed up (Friday Week 3), Elsa & Demi Salas had 6 YA kids who had successfully moved out. That doesn't include the two that forgot to get jobs first. No kids left in the house - Elsa isn't due to give birth again til tomorrow. So I think that makes a total of 9600.

My first YA moved out on week 2, day 4 (Wednesday) shortly after she got back from school that afternoon but unfortunately I forgot to make a note of the exact time. Feel free to call it 12am Thurs or whatever you think is appropriate, in the unlikely event that it becomes necessary for tiebreak purposes.

I think I'll play out the last week unofficially at my leisure to see how things would have panned out if I hadn't stuffed up. Though the odds seem high that I'd likely have stuffed up something else later on instead. Clearly I need to find some mathematical diagrams for my walls as concentration/focus is not my strong point... ::)

This was so fun to do can’t wait for the next tournament

Young adults moved out: 5 x 1600=8000
Teens at home:                 2 x 800=1600
Children at home:             1 x 400=400
Toddlers at home:              1 x200=200
Score:                                      10,200

I like family game play, so this was a fun challenge. (I did miss lot traits though.)

YA's moved out: 8
Teens:               0
Children:           1
Toddlers:           0
Babies:              0

8*1600 + 400 = 13200

The first child moved out after 15671 minutes.

I am so sorry to hear about Pam's passing. She was definitely a bright spot in the Sims Community.

YA moved out - 5 (First moved out at 16843)
Left in house 1 teen and 1 child
Total of 9200 points

It looks like Nelleam might have been added to the scoring table twice? Also it's not particularly important but the second last letter of my username is actually a lower case L not an i.

My Mama Cass and Papa moved out 6 YAs, and had a Teen, Child, and Toddler still at home.

6 X 1600 = 9600
800 + 400 + 200 = 1400
9600 + 1400 = 11000.

This was my first time taking part in a tournament ever, so I'm pretty proud of myself even though I didn't do as well as some people here. Really sorry to hear about Pam's passing...

YA moved out - 5 x 1600 (first one moved out at 23629 minutes)
Teens - 1 x 800
Children - 2 x 400
Toddlers - 1 x 200
Total = 9800

Welcome, @arrowonfire . :) That name sounds like a good one for a Demon Hunter in Diablo III (another game I love). Thank you for participating.

I'm always so optimistic at the start of Baby Boomer type challenges, thinking I'm just going to quickly cycle children through the house, and then reality sets in. Still, these are always my favorite challenges.

Young adults moved out: 6 x 1600= 9600
Teens at home:                 2 x 800=1600
Children at home:             2 x 400= 800
Toddlers at home:              2 x200= 400
Score:                                         12,400

First YA moved out at 16,290 minutes

Peter and Pauline Rabbit moved out 6 YA (9600, the first at 15.714k min) and still had one Teen (800), one Child (400), and two little "noo boos" (400) at the end. :)

9600 + 1600 = 11200

I thought about Pam quite a bit a few weeks ago. My middle daughter and I made a long drive to Austin, TX for Mother's Day to visit family. We passed through Pam's hometown of Dallas.

My dear parent had 9 of their children moving out and 1 child 1 todler  at home.
Which should be (9*1600+1*400+1*200) = 15000
The first YA moved out after 14433 minutes.
