Corrupted Sim - PS4

So I have Sims 4. I coupled an alien with a mermaid. They had twins and a boy and just had triplets. Anyways, when I went to age up my twins from child to teen, the game keeps saying they are corrupted. I went into CAS both through shift-click and manage sim. I updated game and tried again. I deleted save with corrupted sims and repeated the process. Same thing. So I’m wondering if it may be due to the mix of alien-mermaid, now that they are old enough to turn into a mermaid that the alien hybrid may be the problem?

I play on a computer but had a similar problem with the alien mermaids. For me it was actually because of the hybrid and I just had to remove part of it (ex. Remove the mermaid part)
