I sadly will be skipping to finish this one. Just cant find the drive to play today, so will just hit the bed very very early instead.
So first DNF in a long long time. But i will be back in the next challenge.

My time management skills haven't gotten any better since last challenge...
It is midnight here, and only 3 out of 4 Sims have achieved their goals.
So I'm going to hurt my participation a little.

I do have to say, this is an incredibly fun challenge. For one thing, it is nice to have a reason to play a mermaid. So, thanks challenge team!

Alias, I failed to find all of the collectible/ingredients necessary to complete the challenge. I did have fun playing with life states that I never use.  It's given me some ideas for future game play!

Thank you Metro!

However, before I post my strategy, there is one thing to confirm.
I just found out that one rule was changed after the challenge started. From "Learning 16 potions" it was changed to "Create 16 unique potions". It was done when I was already mid-game, and, in fact, I didn't even see it until now... What I did with potions was learning them via experimenting with a cauldron, and after each successful experiment, a copy of the potion was automatically added to my spellcaster's inventory. I ended up with 15 of these (unique), and the 16th one I got when I failed to brew a Potion of Plentiful needs. I didn't grow/find any ingredients and brew these potions manually, except for the Potion of Plentiful needs, which I needed to brew five times for one of the aspirations.
Are my actions different from "creating 16 unique potions"? If they are, I guess it's a DNF for me instead of the win.

Please clarify.

Congratulations Nikitachi!

Even though this was my kind of challenge, apparently, I'm not very good at it.  :-\ ;)  It was still really fun.

Also, I get about half the names (math_chick, you and I watch the same tv & movies. Great names!)  But Metropolis Man and Teresa, I can't fill in the blanks on all of yours (if you'd like to share).

You are good.  The spellcaster received the potions as a result of experimentation, which counts as creation.

Okay, good to know! Thank you. Then, I'll write my strategy later today or tomorrow.

My forum name goes way back to Sim City 4 which I adored back in the day. I'd create these enormous regions. The center city I always named Metropolis. And the mayor was named Metropolis Man. Lol. So, it stuck.
