Garage doors with foundation.

Ok I have a great house, with an attached garage, with a little flight of steps leading down to ground level, however the garage is open, so it's more of a car port. Is there a way of attaching a garage door to a garage with a foundation? Or should I separate the garage completely and have the walls on the ground? It would be a lot of work (and messing around with the **ed roof again) but if that's the only way, then so be it.

Any help or tips would be gratefully received.

Well, you can do that thing you said, but I'm pretty sure someone must have put a video tutorial on youtube or something like that on how to raise the ground near a foundation. If you find something like that, you may be able to put 1 extra square in front of where the garage is, put a door, and then raise the ground near the 1 extra row, so that it looks like a ramp. You'd probably have to use the CFEF cheat, though.

Nothing I tried worked. Had to make a separate garage. Shame really.
The foundations REALLY screw up basements as well. Very annoying.

Thanks Ruby, I found that yesterday evening Now my house I spent a good 3 evenings building (at great cost) now has an accessible basement.
