Part 26: Beginings, Ends and Everything in Between

The family ghosts like to make an appearance every once in a while, but they just float around the house while everyone's asleep.

I fear that Hera is going to join them soon as well. All she does is sleep on her favourite bench.

It was time for a party, a bachelor one to be exact. I wanted Asteria to hold the toast, but her and Caerus' relationship decayed so much that she didn't want to do it.

So the honor was given to Calypso, and I think Caerus didn't mind. We even hired a singer, but barely anyone paid any attention to her.

They were too busy with the nectar.

I've realised how rarely I throw bachelor parties, because I've never seen this outfit nor met May Flowers.

This party was so much fun for everyone. Bacchus' wife Janet seems to be really fond of Isaac. They dance together at every party.

The most popular dancing spot by far was the garage with the smelly pancakes. All in all, a very successful bachelor party.

After the party there was another important thing to do. Turn Mimi back to human so they can get married as soon as he's done with his requirements. There's a couple of opps left, as well as a couple of career levels.

Of course these two had to stage something for the paparazzi, Caerus needs is only a celebrity level 3 and we need to do something about that.

Calypso's love interest from high school has finally aged up, so she tried to go steady with him again. Apparently, the guy has serious commitement issues.

But she managed to win him over at some point.

They zoomed through the relationship in a true dynasty style and moved in together to Darnell's house where he lives with his parents. They took Laika and Lassie with them.

I caught Darnell in the map view a couple of days later walking the pups to a park, so I think they're doing pretty good.

Since things have been a little too good lately, grim needed to show up to kill the mood. Poor Hera was sleeping on her fave spot when it was her time. RIP, girl.

Part 27: Final Countdown

It's time we focus on our heir. He supermaxed writing on his birthday,

...aged up at the middle of the road, but seemed fine with that,

but still got a mid-life crisis which resulted in a really nice car.

Meanwhile, Lady had puppies, two girls named Duchess and Marie. (I couldn't find any more famous female dogs so we switched to pets in general)

The sleepy one is Duchess,

and the confused one Marie.

The next day, Lady aged up to an elder.

Caerus seems to really be fond of Marie, so I think I know who he's taking with him. I am kinda sad that none of the girls have their dads fluff.

The move is closer than we think. Caerus completed his career and LTW, so we're now waiting for the last opp to come and we are ready for a new generation!

If you're wondering where has Asteria been all this time, let me show you. I got a notification that Calypso's dog gave birth so I went to see the puppers, but there wasn't anybody home so she played the violin for the little guys.

She also drank the young again potion so she can stay be there for her family as long as she can.

But even though she has three dogs to keep her company, she can't help but feel a little lonely in this house once Caerus moves out, so she made a phone call.

A couple of hours later, we welcomed little Cassiopeia to the family.

She's a Daredevil, Mooch and Friendly, and adorable.

Now that he knows his mom has someone to keep her company, Caerus is ready to move in with Mimi.

They had a romantic private wedding on the beach in the snow, and that was it, generation 2 is completed!

Part 28: Baby Boom

It was time to start generation 3, the newlyweds enjoyed the romantic suite I decorated just for this at the beach.

Mimi is a stunning girl with decent traits. Good Sense of Humor, Absent Minded, Natural Cook, Excitable and Clumsy.

She also has a dog, Jack, who is an Elder with a full age bar, but him and Mimi are really good friends.

The First couple of days in the house were filled with excitement over the commitment that they made

They spent every minute together, even when the house caught on fire.

They managed to put it out on time even without the fire department that didn't show up because someone forgot to buy an alarm...

To make up for almost burning their house down, I decided to throw a party for them and the family.

Asteria and Cassiopeia were there, I would like to think they are doing fine, but I'm not sure based on Asteria's expression there.

This kid seemed nice when she came to the house, but this look...

The Avilla ladies were in charge of the music at the party. Oh, you might have noticed that Mimi changed her dress in the meantime, yes, gen 3 is on their way!

Calypso and Caerus had some catching up to do.  She has given birth to twins since we last saw her.

That's them, I'm still not sure who they resemble. But they weren't the only addition to the family.

Either Lassie or Laika had another litter with two boys, so I had to adopt one. They are not listed on the family tree so I don't think it's a big deal that Marie will have babies with her cousin.

I mean they get along adorably well.

Mimi loves the new pups, but Jack has a special place in her heart.

Unfortunately, we only had one day left of the dogs as puppies so they aged up into stunning adults.

Unfortunately, dear Jack left the family a couple of days later, the same day we welcomed another family member.

Little Apollon was born after dozens of watermelons his mother ate. He was welcomed by Danica (Caerus' first cousin, daughter of Bacchus and Janet) and a paparazzi. He's a Clumsy Artist.

Apollon's baby stage was as eventful as anyone's, but his birthday was a bit different.

He was left on the floor to age up because his parents were busy with something else.

That something else was Mimi going into labour!

But more on that in the next part! Here's little Apollon, I guess his hair comes from his adopted aunt, and his features seem to be a mix of the classic Avilla ones and Casssiopeia's generic ones. All that effort to avoid marrying generic townies for the heir to get generic features... But adorable,that he still is.

Part 29:Everyday I'm Toddlin'

Welcome baby Daphne to the family. Little nooboo is born with Brave and Loves the Heath traits.

The bigger nooboo doesn't seem to mind a sibling and can't wait to have someone to play with.

His dad loves to play with him when he's not at work, and I actually didn't know that you have this sort of fieldwork as a Director. I had to google how to do the work.
Caerus: The footage is shaky, it must be something wrong with the camera.
Yeah, it's the camera, not the fact we're doing this for the first time.

Mimi is enjoying her maternity leave while she can, and is using the opportunity to work on her cooking.

Daphne's birthday is the perfect occasion to whip up the baking station and make a birthday cake.

They both seem so excited.

And she's adorable! Definitely no generic genes here. I hate when I like spares' genetics more than the heirs.

Caerus actually only works three days a week so he has plenty of time to help with skilling.

Daphne: Poo-poo!
Mimi: Yes, u made a poo-poo, now let's learn the word daddy so he can come to clean it up.

Caerus: Did I just hear you call me daddy, Apollon?

Poor Daphne looks so jealous of her brother.

But as soon as she learns how to call daddy and say clean, she's off the hook and off to play with Apollon.

They love playing dolls together as well.

Now when the kids can play with each other, Mimi uses the opportunity to watch the cooking channel and really quickly completes her LTW of becoming the culinary librarian.

Unfortunately, she seems to also learn the recipe for disaster because that night the family gets a visitor.
Burglar: Can you, like, move please?

Burglar: Finally dogs that don't stand in my way, I'm so stealing something!

Burglar: Oh, my eyes!
Lady: Treat?

Luckily, the police arrived on time and nothing was stolen. I was impressed to see the burglar entering from the back but I guess they weren't as smart as I thought.

After an eventful night, it's time for our heir to become a child.

Our future painter becomes a perfectionist and is ready for school.

But first he decides to play with his sister.

And with the dogs as well. He might as well teach them to guard the house while he's there.

Daphne seems quite confused with the xylophone here, I don't think she's going after her grand-grandfather's fame. Tune in next time to see what trait she gets as a child (definitely not virtuoso, that's for  sure)

Part 30: Pools and Ponies and Parties

The dollhouse is still everyone's favourite past time, and a snack if you ask Daphne.
Apollon: „I am making the dolls have a pool party since you're not letting us have one!“
Who said I'm not letting you? If you want to have one, you first have to rake last year's leaves off the backyard.

Mimi: I can't believe I got a pool and my backyard cleaned, I don't mind this dynasty thing at all.“

The pool party soon started, but not many guests were into swimming that much. The old lady on the left is Danica, Bacchus' daughter, and Caerus' first cousin, then we have Calypso's kid, vampire grandma and hopefully, vampire future spouse if she doesn't get old before Apollon is an adult.

Isaac came too, thanks to the age freeze potion, he's around to meet his great-grandkids, except they're not famous enough for him.
Isaac: „Kid, I don't know who you are, but can you tell me where my famous great-grandkid is? Ugh never mind, like a one-star celebrity would be friends with an Avilla.“
Apollon: “But, I'm...“
Isaac:“ Is that a slide?“

The party was a success, and a reminder that Caerus still needs a wardrobe change, take a guess when will I get around to doing that (hint: it's an abbreviation of words not and ever).
In the pool, you can see Asteria and her adopted daughter Cassiopeia, Vance, who is Danica's brother, and Mimi, who is still having the best day of her life.

The next day it was time for a smaller celebration.

Mimi's genes also make cute kids and our adorable Daphne grows up to love swimming, something about her gives me strong beach girl vibes. I need to remeber to take a pic of her room, it's so nautical and summery!

She goes straight to the pool to snorkel.

She definitely makes use of the last few days of summer, but keeps thinking about Apollon's horse toy.

She's literally obsessed with this thing, all she does is go to her brother's room and ride the horse for hours.  I think I messed up by not making her an equestrian.

Too bad horses and swimming are not part of the curriculum, because the homework would be much easier.

To de-stress, Daphne takes the dogs for a walk...

And Apollon goes to parties in mansions and chats up vampires. This particular vampire is a good and wealthy family friend, Natasha Gooder. We'll be seeing more of her in the future.
