The droid's name is IB-OP as in "I be OP." I'd planned a silly scene where Kiyomi would call the droid over by shouting, "IB-OP," to which a bystander would comment "Confident much?"
But in the end that was too inane, even for me.
Kiyomi's half-alien twin boys are super cute. I kinda wish he'd get abducted again, but what are the chances?

Btw, did you ever get the pack that allows your sims to throw toddler play dates?
It just occurred to me because you had NaeNae moved out while pregnant...

I meant I Bop, not I Pop.  I feel foolish now.  The word play with IB-OP was a great idea!  I definitely would have enjoyed it  :=)
And no, I don't have the toddler play date pack, but of course, it would distract from skilling time anyway  ;=)

7 Heroes 4.14: Knit Like Nobody's Watching (17 Jan update)
« Reply #77 on: January 17, 2021, 03:49:35 PM »
4.14.  Knit Like Nobody's Watching

Week 13, Monday (Day 86, 1st week of winter)
It's me, Momo, and it's finally my turn to chat with you all.
You know, I was about to complain that my turn's late coming around.
But I'm the 4th hero and we entered our 4th season, winter, yesterday. So the timing's just right!

Anyway, as you can see from this chart, we are a five-sim household.
Sora's still in grade school, but the rest of us have each completed at least one project.

I've started the Food & Beverage Project by joining the Culinary career.
For now, I'm doing both the Master Chef and Master Mixologist aspirations.

That's why I'm throwing this dinner party this morning.
Um, why are my brothers wearing gloves with their formal kimonos?

The party ends just in time for Kiyomi to leave for his first workday.
Again, why is he wearing gloves?

Oh, I see. He and Tetsuya forgot to take off their Climbing Gear from Sunday.
Problem solved!

As an Interplanetary Ambassador, Kiyomi needs 7 Sixamite friends.
Tonight, he invites several Sixamites over and gets to know them a little.

It seems my brother does not share his favor equally among his visitors.

Tuesday
Sora reaches Level 7 Charisma this morning before school.
He still has another week until his teen birthday.
That's enough time to get his character values sorted.

As much as I love knitting, it's a blast to do something else for a change!
Working at a restaurant, negotiating bonuses, learning to cook, mix drinks, and perform bar flair.
This afternoon, I even cook four impeccable dishes in a row!

Mama was so mortified Sunday that she couldn't climb the medium rock wall with the boys.
Since then, she and Tetsuya have been hustling to reach Level 7 Rock Climbing.

Who can blame them for wanting to join Kiyomi on his excursion to Mt. Komorebi's summit?
Of course, I'd also love to go, but my Rock Climbing skill is only Level 2. *sniff, sniff

Wednesday
I'm pretty much done with my Food & Beverage Project now, except for career promotions and mixing excellent drinks.
Good thing, too, because I still have lots of knitting to do!

After Kiyomi gets home from work, we all hang out at Desert Bloom Park for several hours.
It's the perfect opportunity to teach Mama to knit.
If only Mama wouldn't get so nervous when I watch her knit!

I'm just 3 legendary knitted items from becoming Lady of the Knit now!

Later that night, Tetsuya makes another discovery: a servo's traits can be reprogrammed!
How did we not know this before?
Look at the atrocious traits of Tetsuya's 5th servo!
He replaces its Jealous and Goofball traits with Neat and Family-Oriented.  All better!

(Watcher's note: Obviously, I'd never crafted a servo before, until Tetsuya started his Simbot project.)

Tetsuya has only two more servos to craft for giving away to elders.
He can't decide how to pace his last two servos.
Should he craft them back to back or should he space them out over two weeks?

I'm the impatient sort. I'd rather finish the project sooner and just free-range like Mama does

Thursday
This afternoon, I become a Lady of the Knits!!!
To finish my Knitting Project, I need to give away 35 more knitted items.
So far, I've knitted a stockpile of 15 items. Should I go ahead and knit 20 more items?

I'm envisioning future vacations in places where, um, I could give away all my knitted stuff.
Folks in Sulani wear socks, right?

Saturday
Tetsuya gives his sixth servo to the Ito household.
Papa Kiyoshi is still an adult, but his sister Nanami qualifies as an elder!

Looking at the three of them side by side, Kiyomi looks more like Mama than Papa, don't you think?

Wow, immediately after that, Papa Kiyoshi ages up to an elder!
Kiyomi remarks he was planning to take Papa with, but has changed his mind.
Take Papa with, where?

Okay, I can't be worrying about that right now.
My work day starts in 10 more minutes.
And look how close I am to my next promotion!

Kiyomi: Hey, Breanna and Dennis!  Thanks for coming out with us!
Tetsuya: Always nice to meet up with siblings!
Dennis: Oh right. Thanks for not taking care of us when we were toddlers!
Kiyomi: Oh, c'mon, Dennis! You know Mama had to raise you toddlers by herself.

Breanna: Hehe, Dennis was just kidding. Anyway, where's Mama?
Kiyomi: She's home, mourning a good friend's death. She told me to tell you two hello.

Dennis: So, why are we here? The Festival of Snow doesn't start for hours.
Kiyomi: First, let's take the gondola to the top and I'll tell you all about it at the top.  Mwahahahaha!
Tetsuya. Mwahahahaha!

Momo!!!
So happy to have my darling girl be the focus again  :=) And just look at her go!  Not only a the Lady of the Knits, but also the Queen of Cuisine!  And yes, if those socks came from Momo, I for one would definitely wear those socks in Sulani or anywhere else  :=)
Absolutely loved the shot of Momo celebrating after the 4 impeccable dishes in a row!
That Kiyomi and his Sixamite friends.  Looks like he was making another friend or two or three if it's a multiple birth  ;=)
Oh goodness!  Thanks for showing the list of project success!  I hadn't really been keeping score and it was pretty mind blowing to actually see nine finished projects with you only four heroes in project mode!  Amazing work!  I think I'd probably have gone bare minimum and only done one per hero if I was doing this, so hats off to you for your amazing determination and ambition!!

As always, Momo is overjoyed at your ever-faithful adoration!
She and her socks can now venture forth into Sulani with full confidence, thanks to you.

As for Kiyomi's new friend, I have since come to my senses and am actively preventing further abductions.

When you do your 7 Heroes Dynasty, you will find that some projects require your full and constant attention (7 Toddlers, going out to give gifts, Doctor career, etc.), while some involve activities that can be queued (writing, painting, crafting mechanisms/circuit chips, etc.) while checking occasionally on needs and moods.
I try to only work on one attention-hog project at a time. I was planning to do only one project per hero and look what's happened!
(Once a hero completes their first project, they're kind of like Immortal Dynasty elders, hehe.)

I'm very much enjoying your Life States Dynasty but also look forward to the day you begin your 7 Heroes Dynasty. :)

7 Heroes 4.15: Celestial Retreat
« Reply #80 on: January 19, 2021, 02:09:08 PM »
4.15  Celestial Retreat

Week 13, Saturday (Day 91, 1st week of winter)
Tetsuya: Hey look out our gondola's windows, guys!
The Festival of Snow's just getting started down below!

Kiyomi: Well, here we are at the bottom of the climbing trail!
Breanna and Dennis, you ready to join an excursion to Mt. Komorebi's summit?
I'll be the excursion leader and can take along three other sims.

You'll be safe with me!  I've maxed the Rock Climbing Skill and Tetsuya's Level 9.
You two don't live with us, so your climbing skill doesn't matter.
But I chose you for my first excursion because you're both Active sims.

You can see our starting tasks for the first cliff in the upper left.
Breanna and Dennis immediately scramble up the cliff.
As the leader, though, I remind Tetsuya to warm up properly before he climbs.
After doing my pre-climb stretches, I'm the last to reach the top of the cliff.

Great job, everyone!  Only two more rock walls to go!
Tetsuya, let me give you half of my Soothing Injury Balms, just in case.
Oops, I can't give it to him. Looks like everyone needs their own supply.

Alrighty, is everyone ready to move on?

Okay, another medium-height rock wall.
Let's see, rest in a tent then inspect the climbing conditions.
Oh please, we always inspect them!
And don't forget to stretch, too, Tetsuya!

On my way to the tent, I see this mysterious creature.
Is this a kodama?
Whatever it is, I can't interact with it.

Breanna and Dennis don't even bother resting!
They forge ahead to scale that wall, no inspection and no warm-up!
But Tetsuya and I take a one-hour nap in the tent first.

As usual, I ensure that Tetsuya's safely up the rock wall before I start climbing.
Just as I've nearly reached the top…

Kiyomi (mutters): Nothing like a popup to destroy immersion…

Momo: What did you say, Kiyomi? I can barely hear you!
Kiyomi: Oh, um, gratz on your promotion to the Mixologist branch!

Another gold medal for the second rock wall!
This has been a perfect climb so far!
Shall we aim for gold on the final wall?

Oh, hey! I just earned the Capable Mountaineer reward trait!

We're all thrilled to arrive at the Croft Icefall!
It's our final climb as well as the most treacherous part of our excursion.
We hear sims have fallen to their death, attempting to climb the Croft Icefall.

As usual, Tetsuya and I stretch then inspect the climbing conditions.
Meanwhile, Breanna and Dennis don't hesitate to start climbing.
What enthusiasm!

One goal is "Have a sim climb courageously."  I'll be that sim.
I tell Tetsuya to climb cautiously, though, to be on the safe side.

I make it to the top before Tetsuya does. He won't be long behind me.
So, I start walking with Breanna and Dennis toward our last trail marker.

Week 14, Sunday
That was one clutch climb, guys!
Um, Breanna? Dennis?
Would stop doing pushups for a second so we can high give?

As Tetsuya and I head for the summit, Breanna and Dennis suddenly vanish.
Hey, there's a 20x20 lot at the summit.  Should we build on it?

By this time, Tetsuya and I feel exhausted. We do a fast and dirty build.
Just the basics, with public restrooms outside.

Tetsuya: Kind of a copout to use the styled hot springs room again, don't you think?
Kiyoma: It's 2:30 in the morning! Everyone at home's just spinning their wheels!

Tetsuya: True. Still, it's cool that we have our own place here.
Kiyomi: For sure! Our family's own celestial retreat above the clouds!
Tetusya: Um, how do we get home?
Kiyomi: Maybe use the phone and choose Travel?

Momo: Huh, those two are finally home! Do I have a story for you!

So, when I aged up to a young adult, I added the Perfectionist trait.
But there's a bug where drinks by a Perfectionist sim don't show tooltips.
Due to this bug, I can't determine the quality of my drinks for my project.
So, I use a Re-Traiting Potion to replace Perfectionist with Foodie.

I make 5 different drinks of unknown quality, but Master Mixologist completes.
Apparently, they were all excellent drinks.

Real-life interlude while Watcher repairs the game...
Later, I make 7 excellent drinks for my project, including a Momo Special.
Tada!  My Food & Beverage Project is officially complete!

Monday
After I left for work yesterday, Kiyomi headed out for another excursion.
This time, he took Mama, his alien girlfriend, and a man I've never met.

Here's a single shot, just as they reach the summit.
It proves they did it without boring you with a second set of excursion photos!

Tonight's my first evening tending bar as a bonafide mixologist!
I want to earn one more promotion to earn the Fresh Chef reward, too.

This past weekend, Kiyomi led two excursions while I was working, but I don't mind.

The sooner he's done with his adventures, the more "Momo Time"!

Tuesday
And a final bit of news: Kiyomi's son Sora ages up to teenager this morning.
He's a good bookworm, but his chopstick manners are even worse than mine!
(And that's really bad…)

Household Progress

2nd Hero: Tetsuya
In-Progress Project (2)
*Create 6/7 Simbots and give them to 6/7 elders

***
3rd Hero: Kiyomi
In-Progress Projects
*Interplanetary Ambassador: Max the Astronaut career (7/10), visit Sixam (done), and have 2/7 Sixamite friends
(Juanita Reagan, Ayaka Goto, 5 more)
*Guide 6/7 different Sims to the top of Mt. Komorebi in one or more Mountain Excursions
(Tetsuya Nana, Breanna Nana, and Dennis Nana; Hiromi Nana, Ayako Goto, and Manuel Mendoza)

***
4th Hero: Momo
Completed Projects (2)
*Max Master Mixologist aspiration (done) and prepare 7 excellent meals, 7 excellent gourmet meals, and 7 excellent drinks.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

In Progress Project
*Complete the Lady of the Knits aspiration (done) and give away 35/70 knitted objects.

***
Future 5th Hero: Sora
Traits: Inquisitive; Good, Bookworm; Top-Notch Toddler
Character values: still a teen.

Remarks
*Mt. Komorebi Excursion: This was my first experience with the excursion, but non-household excursion members are so much easier.
Even Tetsuya has Rock Climbing 9, I had him stretch and chalk his hands before each climb. My heroes never beat the NPCs to the top of the wall.

*Excursions and NPCs: I don't know if there's a trick to picking suitable excursions members or not. The two NPCs in each of Kiyomi's two excursions were real go-getters, whereas household members can get injured, tense, distracted, and so forth.
Tetsuya was great but Hiromi was a bit of a pain.

*Mixology and the Perfectionist sim: Beware of this combo.
Trip was able to recreate my bug, where drinks made by a Perfectionist sim show no tooltips, so you can't see their value or quality.
Missing tooltips persisted even after re-traiting to remove Perfectionist, but displayed correctly after repairing my game.
If you plan to do this project, make sure not to use a Perfectionist sim.

What a great update!  I feel like I learn more and more about the expansions every time I read your dynasties :=)
I enjoyed how the narration shifted towards the end (and I enjoyed it narratively, not just because it switched to Momo).
With the "Celestial Retreat" title, I thought someone was getting abducted again!  Boy was I wrong!  So, I'm guessing that 20x20 lot doesn't unlock until you do the big climb?
And congrats to Sora on the birthday!!  And to Momo on the promotions and the finished project!!  And congrats to the climbing crew!!
So many great things happening for the Momo clan  :=)
BTW, loved how you narrated in the pop-up about Momo's promotion!

Ooh, look at me actually commenting on a story! Wow!

I recently got snowy escape, and somehow didn’t know about the lot at the top of the mountain... why am I tempted to build a certain Disney castle up there  ;)

@PeregrineTook
I was a little afraid of being underprepared for the excursion, but it turned out to be so much fun!
Haha, I can't believe that I forgot to include the screenshot from which the update takes its title. I've added it below so you needn't look through the update again. :)

The only hitch with the summit lot is that it can only be accessed after a sim once again climbs up there.
I'm glad my dynasty household has stayed in Mt. Komorebi. It's been a blast exploring Snowy Escape.

Haha, thanks for reading and commenting!  Much appreciated.
When you sims make it to Mt. Komorebi's peak and build their "certain Disney castle," be sure to post it!

7 Heroes 4.16: Socks for Sulani
« Reply #84 on: January 22, 2021, 08:58:53 AM »
4.16  Socks for Sulani

Week 14, Tuesday (Day 94, 2nd week of winter)
Momo: I continue knitting stuff as gifts for my Knitting Project.

Papa Kiyoshi spends more time chatting with me than with Mama lately.
Mama's not looking happy about being ignored!
I feel bad for Mama. He better watch out or he'll be unwelcome here.

Tetsuya finishes his third project this afternoon!
He gives away his seventh servo to Kiyomi's first baby mama, who's now an elder.

She must have been an adult when we first met her in Selvadorada.
Thanks to the servo, Kiyomi's children won't be taken away by social services.
All three look just like Kiyomi, don't you agree?

Hiromi: I've done 4 projects and both Kiyomi and Momo will do 4 projects, too.
What are you planning, Tetsuya, for your fourth project?

Tetsuya: Well, if I simply must do a fourth project, it won't be one I work on in my lab.
After maxing a career, synthesizing 70 serums, and crafting 7 servos, I deserve an easy project!

Tetsuya decides to do the Veterinarian Project.
Mama and her Matriarch trait are happy to oblige him as he learns the Vet skill.

As for me, I've knitted all 35 items that I need to give away!
That's 7 rows of 5 items each. Go ahead and count 'em!
Now I just need some time to go somewhere to gift them all!

The Komorebi Sightseer aspiration has a task for a long soak in the hot springs.
Kiyomi tried soaking in our indoor hot springs last night, but that didn't work.

So he places an outdoor hot springs, showers, and is heading to take a soak, when…
Oh no! The rest of us never even heard any weird music!

Wednesday
Naturally, Sora returns from his first day of high school with an "A" grade.

He cakes up to an young adult right after, even though he's not starting his project until next week.
Way to go, Sora! You're the first of us to earn all five character values!

After work, Kiyomi invites over his Sixamite buddies again.
He makes a temp club to show you six of his friends.
His 7th Sixamite friend is Juanita Reagan, Kiyomi's baby mama who received Tetsuya's 7th servo.

Thursday
Kiyomi's off today and I don't work until 6 pm, so Tetsuya takes the plunge.
He's now the proud owner of Brindleton Pawpital.

Then, he invites the rest of us over, but warns us to keep out of his way.

With his maxed Vet skill, Dr. Tetsuya can diagnose his patients in a flash.
He can perform surgical operations without preliminary scans, too!

Poor Sora!  So young but already being pressured to marry!
Kumiko Ikeda is an adult who hates children, but Sora adores her light lavender skin.
She accepts his proposal and they immediately elope.

Tetsuya: I finish treating my last patient an hour after Momo leaves for work.

It's too cold out to wander around trying to befriend strays, though.
I'll save that last part of my Veterinarian Project for warmer weather!
For now, we return home then sell the Brindleton Pawspital after Momo's  work shift ends..

Yes, my brother Kiyomi, dearly beloved of Senior Pollinator Technician #3, is expecting again.
Mama had been planning to adopt a little girl toddler, but oh well.

We're thinking his due date might be early Sunday morning.

Friday
Tonight, I'll reach Level 8 Mixologist, finish the Master Chef aspiration, and quit my job.
After that, I plan to help Kiyomi raise his second child.

Also, I'm waiting for this weekend (which Kiyomi has off) for a gift-giving bonanza.
In the meantime, I've written 4 unique songs already for my 4th project.

In the evening, Kiyomi earns his Level 8 promotion and need to choose a career branch.
Over the phone, he argues with Mama about not becoming a Space Ranger.
Interstellar Smuggler, he insists, is more in keeping with his Batuu Resistance persona.

Mama reminds him Space Ranger's work schedule will be family-friendlier for his future child.

Saturday
We're waiting until around 9 am to head out.
Kiyomi's mentoring me until I can write my 5th songs for the guitar.
Mama's knitting baby and toddler onesies.
And Sora's building his Writing skill. Will he need that for his project?

Sora picked Kumiko Ikeda for her lovely pastel skin, but he's worried about her age.
What if their child gets taken away because Kumiko passes away before the child becomes a teen?

So what does the kind and thoughtful Tetsuya do for his nephew?
As a precaution, Tetsuya volunteers to create a servo as a guardian for Sora's future child.

We visit Sulani for the very first time and hang out there until nightfall.
My family stands around, chatting and enjoying the warm weather..

But I'm busily giving away knitted items as part of my "Socks for Sulani" campaign!
Actually, only Sulani locals get socks. Friends from cooler climates get beanies and stuff.

We even spend a few hours at Desert Bloom Park to enjoy the warm weather a little longer.
On our return home, we hear that weird music and go into a total panic!

Oh, they're taking Mama? Whew! That's a huge relief!  Later, Mama!

Week 15, Sunday
Early the next morning, Kiyomi goes into labor. Out of nowhere, a regular bassinet appears in the house next to him.
Apparently, it's a gift from Social Services.

But Kiyomi's holding out for that snazzy alien bassinet, so he heads to the hospital instead.
I could kick myself for not asking him in advance to let me join him there.

Kiyomi names his daughter Ayame.
She arrives home before Kiyomi, so I'm the first one to hold and feed her.

Ayame means "iris" in Japanese, although she's more of a light blue.
I knitted the striped purple onesie she's wearing!

We're all surprised that Ayame's skin color isn't the same as her brother Sora's turquoise hue
That surprised Kiyomi, too, he says, so he immediately checked his Simology Panel.

He explains that Sora and Ayame have different mothers.
That is, Sora's mother stepped down as Senior Pollinator Technician #3 and Ayame's mother took her place.
How confusing! So Sora and Ayame are half-siblings?

I'm eager to resume my Socks for Sulani campaign this afternoon.
But Sora asks me to wait another hour while he finishes up something.

He plans to attend university and just got the results from his scholarship applications.
Not that he has any money worries, but why can't we find any info about tuition fees?
And what a pity no scholarship available for Mt. Komorebi residents!

Next, he applies for uni, hoping for admission to a distinguished degree program at Foxbury Institute
What if he doesn't get accepted? Why did he wait so long to apply?

Sora tells me that he waited to max his Research & Debate skill before applying.
Though he isn't sure if his maxed Logic, Charisma, and Research & Debate skills will be enough.
I guess he'll hear back in several days.

Momo: This update was supposed to be all about my Socks for Sulani campaign.
Due to Kiyomi's abduction, Tetsuya's sudden one-day vet clinic, and Ayame's birth, though, I still haven't finished my Knitting Project.
That's fine with me! I'll just be back for one more update.
After that, Sora can take over narration as our future 5th hero!

Hooray for more Momo time!!!  And shame on everybody who stole time away from her!
Ok, actually, a lovely update with so many awesome things happening for the family!
Excellent build on the pet clinic!
And yes, poor Sora marrying for genetics, not for love.  On the bright side, those are going to be some lovely nooboos  :=)
Speaking of nooboos, I am quite unfairly going to choose to think of Ayame as Momo's baby since she's helping to raise her  :=)

Go Team Momo!

Haha, I'd love to accept your compliment on the vet clinic build but, in truth, I was lazy and simply had Tetsuya become the temporary owner of the premade vet clinic in Bindletone Bay. :)
As you know, it's quite hard for female offspring to earn the Matriarch trait because, in this dynasty, I can't fill the house up with her spawn.
Founder Hiromi did the 7 toddler project, gaining her 3 kids through adoption at an early stage in this dynasty.
But yes, the Patriarch is always close by Ayame, but Momo has spent the most time teaching her. :)

I'm hjappy to hear that you're sitting on a mound of screenshots! It bodes well for we fans of the Flummoxes!

7 Heroes 4.17: Socks for...Servos?!
« Reply #87 on: January 24, 2021, 01:58:48 PM »
4.17.  Socks for…Servos?!

Week 15, Sunday (Day 99, 3rd week of winter)
Momo: The family prefers to spend today in Yukimatsu instead of in Sulani.
Fine. I discard Socks for Sulani, replacing it with a new Socks for Servos campaign.

It's important to show servos that their service is appreciated, don't you agree?
And, I guess, they can regift the socks I give them to their household members.

I accidentally knitted an extra toddler onesie, so I invite Sora's wife Kumiko over.
She will probably never dress their toddler in that onesie.
But who doesn't love receiving an unexpected present?

While I continue giving away my remaining knitted items, Mama and Tetsuya ski.
They still haven't ventured beyond the Easy Slope.

Kiyomi and Sora enjoy a long soak in the onsen (hot springs).
They look so relaxed!

Finally! I give my 70th knitted item to Quatro Nana-Bot, Tetsuya's 4th servo.
No wonder we get along so well.  He's a mixologist!

And that's a wrap for gifting 70 knitted items for my Knitting Project!

To my delight, Quatro gives me a gift back! That's so sweet of him!
I check my inventory to see what he gave me.
Sadly, my inventory's too full to figure out what his gift was.

Still, I want to do something special for Quatro Nana-Bot!
As Lady of the Knits, I share sacred knitting knowledge for the first time with him.
It's mighty awesome cuz Quatro doesn't even need his own knitting bag!

Before leaving Yukimatsu, I sled down the slope a few times.
Yeah, yeah, everyone knows I'm the creative sim!
The athletic expert in our household would be Kiyomi…

Monday
When Watcher was young, her parents paid attention to how she and her brother ate with chopsticks.
When her younger brother didn't use chopsticks properly, they made him practice.
He once had to eat an entire plate of peas, picking them up one at a time with his chopsticks.
No joke!  Watcher claims she managed to escape that fate.

You can imagine Sora's joy at having another alien, Ayame, join our household.
He's also beyond proud to be the one who qualified to add her.

All I have left to do now is write 3 more unique songs for my fourth project.
There's no rush!
I'm treating myself this afternoon to a long soak in our outdoor hot springs.

Kiyomi brings home his Level 9 Space Ranger promotion this evening.
As soon as he's changed, we go hiking north of Senbamachi.

Certainly, this is not the finest weather for hiking.
But we can always come back for more hiking in spring!

During our first hike all together, Sora encounters green kodama, collecting one.

Later, I take a separate hike with Tetsuya, hoping to encounter more kodama.
And here they are!

Next, we head up to Yukimatsu to enjoy a few hours of winter sports.
Mama and Tetsuya attempt low-intensity skiing on the Intermediate Slope.
At Level 3 skiing, Mama can barely stay upright.

At Level 4 Skiing, Tetsuya seems to be more or less in control.
But he carefully and slowly avoids the jump ramp.

Kiyomi takes his first stab at the Intermediate Slope, too.
With his Level 5 Skiing, he attempts High-Intensity Skiing.

Look at him virtually flying off that same jump ramp that Tetsuya avoided.
(No wonder Watcher dotes on him…)

Everyone else, including Sora, is learning to ski.
I've decided instead to become the snowboard expert of our household.
Well, I'm only Level 2 now but, you know, eventually.

Back home, Sora and I hang up the green and red kodamas we collected earlier today.
Mama and Tetsuya collected the blue and yellow ones awhile back.

And Kiyomi earned those gold plaques for leading two Mt. Komorebi excursions.

Tuesday
Kiyomi ages up Ayame the moment he receives her birthday notice.

While planning her outfits, Kiyomi changes her skin from light blue to lavender.
Now her skin color matches her namesake, Ayama (Iris).

Today we learn that an activated servo can click on itself to modify its appearance.
If only we'd known sooner!
Can you imagine how hard it was to gift socks to servos who all looked exactly alike?

Anyway, Tetsuya moves his eighth servo in with Sora's wife and their newborn son.

My nephew Sora wants to be the first to read to Ayame.
Because (1) he's a bookworm and (2) he'll get busy with school later this week.

I'm taking advantage of my free time to finish up my song-writing.
Don't get me wrong. It's been fun for everybody to be out and about lately.
Seriously, though, I cannot wait to be finished with all my projects!

Momo is easily the most thoughtful Sim of all time.  Socks for people in a tropical climate and now socks for robots.  No one else would have been kind enough to recognize how rarely those groups are probably gifted socks  :=)
Also, loving that Momo alone is mastering the snowboard while everyone else does skiing.  Of course, I also enjoyed her calling out her Watcher for having a favorite (not that I also have a favorite, of course).   ;=)
Little Ayame is such a cutie pie!  I just love the uncertain smile you caught in her human disguise!  Can't wait until we transition to having Momo freed up to be her main caregiver so there will be Momo and Ayame spam showing up in your updates  :=)
Congrats on all the great progress and best of luck to Sora at uni!!

Wow, you are really moving along with the projects!

About University -- do homework to 75%; in class, take notes. Get an Outstanding on the presentation and the Term Paper. That should be enough to get an A+.
