About my planning and organization, my memory and focus have been really scattered lately.
So the separate project storage & gifting 10 arrangements at a time (regardless of how many I've crafted) will hopefully keep me on track.
I didn't like the idea of counting gifts one at a time.

I just got caught up...I absolutely love your story, and your sims are ALL gorgeous!  We definitely need to keep a copy of Kiyoshi in the sim bin!  And by we, I mean you...but you have to share him with all of us!

You can play with Kiyoshi Ito whenever you want. He's a premade sim who comes with Snowy Escape. He starts out as a teen living in the 50x50 Wakaba lot where my heroes currently live.

2.4.  Toddler Tidal Wave


Week 4, Saturday (Day 28)
Tetsuya: Now that I'm a young adult, Mama says I can share all the latest news with you.
Thanks to a gossipy real estate agent, Mama's parents learn many of Mama's secrets!

After that letter arrives, Mama phones her parents so they also know about me (at last).
They're shocked, but relieved that our household is thriving.


If you're wondering what's going on here, Mama became a Super Parent last week.
So now, she wants a Big Happy Family.
Guess who's tasked with providing her with grandkids?

That's Miki Akiyama, daughter of the predatory Kado Akiyama of Senbamachi.



Week 5, Sunday
Kiyoshi: Wow, Tetsuya, another day of helping with Big Happy Family?
Tetsuya: What can I say? I'm a filial son!

Kiyoshi: Isn't that Kaori Nishidake whose grandparents recently passed away?
Tetsuya: Uh huh, I've probably been with all the Asian YA ladies around.
She's the last one, though. I think five are enough.


Kiyoshi: Five!?!?! Don't tell me you were with my sister, Nanami.
Since I'm your stepfather, that makes Nanami your aunt, you know.
Tetsuya: Um, I checked my Simology panel: Nanami and I aren't related.

Kiyoshi: So, which one will you marry?
Tetsuya: None of them. I'm saving myself for Evie Delgato, who is still a teen.
Kiyoshi: Saving what? *snorts


That night, while I'm tending the garden, I get abducted.
I believe I'm safe, though, since the aliens didn't drop me gently on my feet.



Monday
I'm so excited about my first workday at The Lab!
I'd really like Watcher to join me so I could check out the dig sites there.
But today's also Mama's due date, so I head for work alone.


Speaking of dig sites, I've had a museum built in Windenburg Countryside.
I'm going to fill my Project Box with the required collectibles first.
Then I'll take all 7 collections to the museum and display them in one visit.


Mama phones me at The Lab to say that I have a younger brother.
We're all so relieved that Mama didn't have twins!

My brother's name is Kiyomi. "Kiyo" a short form of "Kiyoshi" (which means pure).
The "mi" is one way of reading the ideograph for "three," because… Hero #3 eventually.


After work, I make my second quick trip to Sixam.
Unfortunately, Quill Fruit aren't harvestable yet.


And then I try snowboarding for the first time while Mama enjoys the hot spring.
Oh yeah, that place has been renamed to Kinosaki Onsen.



Wednesday
Our first home was in Senbamachi, which has a bar, hiking trails, and a fishing spot.
Near our current home in Wakaba, we've no use for the lounge but the swimming is fantastic!
If Wakaba also had a fishing spot, it would be perfect!


Oh, I forgot to mention that Mama and I each adopted a toddler yesterday:
Inquisitive Lax (right) and Silly Kiersten (left), respectively, before their makeovers.

I'm not allowed near them 'cuz they're part of Mama's Toddler Project.
Her plan is to get them both potty-trained before my brother ages up.



Thursday
And little Kiyomi ages up to a toddler today while I'm at work.
Since Kiyomi's not part of Mama's Toddler Project, Papa and I can play with and look after him.


Lax and Kiersten are making good skilling progress, so Mama adopts a third toddler.
Debra is an adorable Charmer..
Mama already feels a little sad that we'll eventually have to let her go.


As for Mama's Big Happy Family, I've had word that all my baby mamas gave birth today.
So Mama has her 4+ grandkids but I still need to get married.

Evie Delgato is still a teen, while Kaori Nishidake is a single mother with triplets.
I'm thinking of marrying Kaori.  It's the honorable thing to do!

I'm having a blast with this challenge. Thanks to Snowy Escape, my sims can wear Japanese clothes and live in Japanese-style homes without loads of custom content!
As for toddler spam, it's only a temporary phase due to the toddler project.

Week 5,Friday (Day 34) (1st week of Summer)
Tetsuya: Early in the morning, I propose to Kaori Nishidake.
She accepts and asks that we get married right away.

It's been less than 12 hours since she gave birth to our triplets.
Will people believe that we were already married when they were born?


Hoping today will be Collection Day at work, I ask Watcher to join me.
And I'm right!
My work performance doesn't improve much, but I hit a bunch of dig sites.
All my Natural History Museum Project lacks now is a seventh alien!


Hiromi: It's hard for me to focus on the toddlers.
You are constantly going off somewhere with the Watcher.
Would you please just finish up your collections once and for all?

Tetsuya: Then, you don't mind if I leave right away for Sixam?
Hiromi: Not at all.


And there's my seventh alien!



Saturday
I'd thought that the museum might be too large.
But my seven collections fill up two rooms.
There!  My Natural History Museum Project is completed!


During the Festival of Snow, Mama's busy chasing around her toddlers.
So she asks me to take Kiyomi bobsledding.


When we soar off a small slope, I briefly worry that Kiyomi will panic.
But look at him! He loves it!
Maybe he'll grow up to be an Extreme Sports Enthusiast like Papa Kiyoshi.





Week 6, Sunday
By Sunday afternoon, all four toddlers are done skilling.
So Mama decides to adopt two more toddlers.
Breanna (left) is clingy, while Dennis (right) is Wild.

I can help with Kiyomi.
Let's hope the other five toddlers don't need a bath at the same time!


You know, I could have bathed Kiyomi.
But Mama says she'd rather have me help with cleaning and cooking.
Let me tell you, I'll be glad when the Toddler Project is over!



Tuesday
Kiersten and Lax age up today, each with the Top-Notch Toddler trait.
And, yes, they will be moving out without makeovers.


Mama approaches Eliza and Bob Pancakes, who agree to adopt them.
The Pancakes are quite well off and have no children of their own.
We're sure Kiersten and Lax will want for nothing in that home.


The remaining three toddlers (not counting Kiyomi) are nearly done skilling.
So, we soon welcome Mama's six adoptee into our home.
Katherine is an Angelic toddler, thankfully.


Kiersten and Lax aren't the only ones with birthdays today.
Mama celebrates her birthday by drinking a Potion of Youth so she can remain a young adult.


She guesses that she's a few days older than her husband Kiyoshi.*
So, she gives him an early birthday gift:
Hopefully, that orchid-scented flower arrangement will reset his age!



Thursday
My siblings Kiyomi and Debra become children today.
Debra is a lovely little girl but, sadly, we can't keep her.

Mama plans to wait a week then adopt her seventh toddler.


Debra is a Geek like Yuki Behr, who agrees to adopt her.
Yuki also has a toddler daughter, which I fathered.
Debra will definitely like living with the Behrs.


As for Kiyomi, he doesn't have school until tomorrow.
He's joined Scouts and planned out his seven requirements.
He doesn't want to make seven drawings like I did.
Instead, he's thinking of making seven potions. Good luck with that!

What? Who me? No, I came out "unscathed" from my alien abduction.

Is it wrong that I'm mildly hoping he's not unscathed from the abduction?  I mean, could the alienboo be the 7th toddler mam brings up to top notch status?

Nice tip about saving Debra to my library. I've marked her household as a Favorite and will check on her again when she's a teen/young adult.
Hiromi's 7th toddler isn't an alienboo and I'm not sure what the future will bring.
The game never gives me an alienboo when I actually want one.

2.6.  Our Peach Princess


Week 6, Friday (Day 41) (2nd week of Summer)
I'm enjoying a blissfully tranquil morning!
Tetsuya is mixing serums, Kiyomi's working on a school project, and the toddlers are still asleep.

Unfortunately, folks are constantly mispronouncing our town's name!
The accent's on the second syllable: Mt. KoMOrebi.


Tetsuya comes home this evening with his promotion to Mad Scientist (Level 9).
It's the perfect job title for him, seeing as he's Erratic.


Kiyomi wants his seven requirements to be all about Mt. Komorebi, so he'll collect 7 Simmis.
At the Festival of Light, we wait so Kiyomi can ask Yamachan for a selfie and Simmi capsule.
Unfortunately, Yamachan never shows up.



Saturday
We spend the day at Desert Bloom Park, where Kiyomi socializes and goes fishing.
Tetsuya's always happy to visit this park, too, since it has so many dig sites.



Week 7, Sunday
Tetsuya's recently started making serums for his second project.
Why is he running toward me with that mischievous smirk.
Is that a tainted serum he's holding?


My concern is groundless.
Tetsuya only wants me to try his untested Needs Fixer serum.


Breanna and Dennis (my 4th & 5th adopted toddlers) age up in the afternoon.


After screening several couples, I decide on the Ngata household.
Breanna and Dennis will love that peaceful household and the beachside location.



Monday
Poor Katharine! Now that she's done skilling, she gets very little attention from me.
I only make sure that she's fed and bathed. Otherwise, she's on her own.


We visit Yukimatsu so Kiyomi can buy himself a snowboard and skis.
While there, he obtains his seventh unique Simmi.



Tuesday
In the early morning, Katharine ages up and goes to live in Willow Creek.
Olivia explained to me that she prefers the single life but wants a child.
Katharine's new mother and grandparents will undoubtedly shower her with love and attention!


In the evening, Tetsuya earns his final promotion in the Scientist career.
The next thing he does is buy the Professional Slacker trait.


Only scientists can use the Invention Constructor and Chemistry Station.
So Tetsuya needs to stay in the Scientist career until he's stockpiled 70 serums.
Before he forgets, he also upgrades his Wormhole Generator and SimRay.



Wednesday
Kiyomi's teen birthday is exactly a week away, so it's time to visit the adoption agency again.
Chelsie is the seventh and final toddler I need to nurture for the Top-Notch Toddler Project.
Since she was born in summer, I've renamed her Momo (Peach).

It's been a satisfying experience to raise Top-Notch Toddlers for couples seeking to adopt.
But I am keeping Momo, our very own Peach Princess, to join our family.



Friday
After much experimentation, Tetsuya has finally had his 21st breakthrough.
At last, he can synthesize Age-Away Serums.

He's also decided which serums to stockpile.
Snake Oil for its medicinal benefits, Synthetic Food to relieve hunger, and Spark Drive for its energy boost.


Tetsuya wants to visit Desert Bloom Park to give away his untested serums.
I gather up some flower arrangements, thinking I could give them away at the park.

Instead, Kiyomi persuades us to head for Yukimatsu.
He's been dying to try out his new snowboard.


By nightfall, Tetsuya and I are each done with our testing and gifting.

Kaori: I'm your wife! Why do you wait until I'm an adult to give me an Age-Away Serum?
Tetsuya: Er, I only learned how to make untested Age-Away Serums this morning, dear.


Meanwhile, Kiyomi graduates from the Bunny Slope to low intensity snowboarding on the Easy Slope.
He's disappointed to discover that children can't learn the snowboarding or skiing skills.



Week 8, Sunday
Today marks the start of the last week of summer.
We attend the Festival of Youth for the first time.

Kiyomi passes on the ugly kabuto helmet.
Momo loves dancing the Mountain Wave with Yamachan.
Now that Momo has maxed her skills, we're planning to enlarge our house.
Perhaps our next update will include a brief house tour.
