I guess we have to wait to find out Sora's gender. I like the name Cosmo; in fact, my first alien baby Sim in TS2, a girl,  was named Cosma.

4 heroes, and a 5th growing up -- you're moving fast!

Oh, Cosma is such a pretty name! We went "Sora" to stick with the Mt. Komorebi theme. :)
As you will find out soon enough, some household members are moving faster than others.
Thank you for reading!

7 Heroes 3.11: Just the Arti(Facts), Ma'am (7 Jan update)

3.11.  Just the (Arti)Facts, Ma'am

Week 10, Saturday (Day 70, 2nd week of fall)
Kiyomi: We are now a family of five!
Momo became a young adult yesterday, qualified to bring in the next household addition.
That makes my son, Sora is our bonafide future 5th Hero!

As you no doubt guessed from Momo's 7 requirements, she's starting out with two projects.
Besides her Art Museum Project, she'll also be tackling the Knitting Project.
She also has a third project in mind for later.

As much as I'd like to head for Selvadorada right away, I'm waiting on a few things.
Momo wants to view paintings in Willow Creek .
And Tetsuya's practically finished creating a servo.
There! He's done!

Ever since he started learning Robotics, he's only crafted circuit chips and mechanisms.
It's been a long haul, but Tetsuya's finally ready to activate his first servo.

Naturally, Tetsuya gives his first servo to his wife, Kaori, who's an elder.
Yes, those teens living with Kaori are Tetsuya's children…

Week 11, Sunday
We arrive in Selvadorada early in the morning.
Wish me luck getting the artifacts and relics I need!

Momo: What the heck? I thought Kiyomi brought me along to join his explorations!
But no, he says he needs to do everything himself!
I might as well as work on the painting and photography parts of my Art Museum Project!

Kiyomi: I later invite Tetsuya along, too, because I spot a good number of dig sites.
Once I reach the temple, though, Tetsuya and Momo both become liabilities.

I send them back to our rental villa to hang out with our parents.

Monday
The temple's final treasure chest rewards me with a Golden Zazatotl Death relic.
Now I have all my missing relic pieces!  I just need to refine and insert the rare crystals!

But my museum collection's still missing 2 artifacts.
I buy a bunch more dirt artifact clumps from a marketplace vendor, then end our vacation.

I'd received Sora's birthday notice hours before we arrive home.
So aging him up is the first thing I do.

Momo takes photos of Sora without and in disguise.
These two shots complete her collection of 7 outstanding photos.
Cute, right?

Once upon a time, there lives a little alien boy who's facing tough questions.
Are sims innately open--hearted and compassionate?
Or are they small-hearted and prejudiced?.

Should the little alien boy go through life in disguise, passing as a sim?
Or should he let the world know who he really is?

Tuesday
I spend time with Sora whenever he's awake.
He's a little bundle of joy but it's time I'm not unearthing artifacts.

Mama wants me to max my Parenting skill today.
Once that's done, Mama promises to help with Sora's education. Thanks, Mama!

Technically, Momo's completed her Art Museum Project.
But she'd rather replace her small masterpiece paintings with large ones.

I do appreciate Momo waiting for me so we can submit our collections to the museum together.

Thursday
Momo: Why are you knitting, Mama? You know the Knitting Project is mine!
Hiromi: Cool down! I'm just knitting stuff to add to the household wardrobe.
Momo: Oh, okay then. That's a great idea since I have to give away everything I knit.

Hiromi: I see you've painted your 7 large masterpieces. How nice of you to wait for Kiyomi.

Friday
In the early morning, Tetsuya completes his second servo.
He gives it to Yuki Behr, another of his baby mamas.

The turquoise-haired teen is Tetsuya's daughter.
The brunette was part of Mama's 7 Toddlers Project.

My artifact collection only lacks a single item now, the Terracotta Omiscan Vase.
Ugh! This is the 10th vase-shaped artifact that I've unearthed since Monday!
Why couldn't it be my missing artifact! Why!?!?!

Let's go the museum, Momo! I won't be finishing my project today. *sniffle, sniffle

And Momo completes her Art Museum Project.
She only needed 7 excellent photos, but all of hers are outstanding quality.

Among her 7 masterpieces paintings, I like the ones of Selvadorada the best.

And, finally, her 7 excellent sculptures.
I can't believe she finished her project before I finished mine!

Momo: To be fair, Kiyomi, mine was much easier than yours is.

My Omiscan Museum Project definitely requires at least one more visit to Selvadorada.
After what feels like 2+ weeks of non-stop Archaeology, I'm feeling rather disheartened.
Maybe I'll temporarily switch to a different project, one I can definitely complete?

Momo is such a sweetheart trying to wait for Kiyomi to finish his collection.  Poor guy finding all those fake vases  :=(
Tetsuya giving servos to his babymamas was just delightful.  Would have been nicer to have done that when they were still babies so he could deliver them as "nanny droids," but still really sweet.
On the subject of sweet, I just love that face Momo is making in that second picture!  She's such a cutie pie!
And speaking of cutie pies, Momo's photos of Sora are just adorable!!  And yes, I am just gushing about the cuteness of you household, is that so wrong?   ;=)
A lovely update and some excellent progress (especially by the amazing Momo)!  Fingers crossed that Kiyomi finds that elusive vase next time around.
Oh, and once again, excellent wit on the update's title  :=)

So glad to see someone else doing the Omiscan Museum!  Mine is probably half done.

@simfulicious
How many days did your sim spend at Selvadorada to reach the half-finished stage?
After two full days in Selvadorada and several more days unearthing/excavating some of his finds, he's also roughly half done.
I have a feeling though that finding the remaining stuff will take longer than a single trip. More like 2-3 more trips?

I have taken 2 total trips.  The first trip I extended to like 10 days (did 2 temples), the 2nd trip I think I also did 2 temples.  I think it's going to take the longest to find all the relic pieces.  Hint:  You can get one set of top and one set of base from vendor once you max Selvadorian Culture.  I'm guessing you knew that, but just in case...

My strategy as of now is to go and come back before the bills hit...cause ouchie!  And I don't think I'm gonna go again until the things I have are uncovered and authenticated.

EDITED:  After reading the rest of the thread, I am pretty sure you need one each relic...each with a common, uncommon, and rare gem....meaning 27 total relics.  Nevermind...I missed Marian's interpretation and you are fine cause you are doing 9 rare.

Your unabashed favoritism toward Momo makes me smile.
I've never had a sim craft the servo's Nanny droid upgrade, in fact Tetsuya is my first sim to craft a servo ever.
Tetsuya's been complaining mightily about being stuck in his basement lab all the time plus, you're right, his kids are too old to profit from a Nanny droid anyway.
That will have to wait for a different save. :)

@simfulicious

Kiyomi did mention in the previous update that he bought 3 each of Tote-whatever relics and Watcher bases plus a bunch of dirt artifact clumps from a vendor's secret wares.
The dirt clumps take time but have really helped fill out his artifact collection!
Also, having to assemble common and uncommon versions of each mystic relic would have been driven me away from this project. Probably. ;)

7 Heroes 3.12: Luck Smiles on the Hopeful (11 Jan update)
« Reply #65 on: January 11, 2021, 02:54:45 AM »
3.12.  Luck Smiles on the Hopeful

Week 11, Saturday (Day 77, 3rd week of fall)
Kiyomi: It's only noon, but little Sora is completely exhausted and ready for bed.
Since yesterday afternoon, we've been focused on helping him learn all his skills.

Since his birthday isn't until Tuesday, I can devote 3.5 days to my new project!
I've even learned a new skill for it: Programming!

I'm all ready to go but Mama asks me to wait while Momo tends the garden.
Fine. I'll try unearthing two more artifacts.

Here I am, trying to look nonchalant.
My 12th vase-shaped artifact in the past five days turns out to be my missing artifact!

A quick stop at the Nana Museum to install my collections.
Tada!
9 unique rare mystic relics and all 16 artifacts, discovered by yours truly.

Well, now I feel a bit sheepish about leaving everyone behind for 3+ days, but….Baaa?

No, sorry, Sora. You can't stay with Papa in Batuu.
Papa will be busy, joining the struggle to restore peace and justice to this Faraway Galaxy.

Look, we'll spend a day here together after your birthday, alright?
*mutters: That sneaky Momo! Following me here with Sora!

After Sora leaves, I resume Batuu's welcome protocol in Black Spire Outpost (which seems to be the Scoundrels' turf).
I'm supposed to ask about Batuu's three factions three times each.
Cutting to the chase, I seek out the three faction leaders.

At Oga's Cantina here in Black Spire Outpost, I chat with Hondo Ohnaka, leader of the Scoundrels.

At the First Order District, I meet its leader Lt. Agnon (left).
And at the Resistance Encampment, I meet the Resistance leader Vi Moradi.

Moradi suggests that Scoundrel missions are good for earning Galactic Credits (GC)..
Oh right, the only valid currency in Batuu is GC!

Week 12/ Sunday
I've completed my first unofficial mission for the Resistance and prepare to report back.

When  I teleport deep into the Resistance Encampment, nobody's particularly impressed.
And I don't see anyone else teleporting, either. I wonder why not?

So, I've officially joined the Resistance but have yet to prove myself.
First things first, I revisit Hondo Ohnaka and do a couple Scoundrel missions to earn GC.

I gotta say that I love Oga's Cantina.
I mean, it's the only place where I can sit, eat, drink, and gamble! What's not to love?

Apart from the missions, the Scoundrels test me by asking me to swindle two sims.
As a Good sim, I initially struggle with the ethicality of this task.

Then it hits me!
When I swindle First Order soldiers out of GC, it's for The Cause, right?

Once I complete the two Scoundrel missions, I head straight for the Droid Depot.
I'm 8 Scrap Metal short for ordering a custom droid.
Luckily, the Droid Shop sells scrap metal, too!

That's 1,000 GC for the droid plus 600 GC for the scrap metal. Ouch!

Me and mah droid, casually strolling into Oga's Cantina for a bite to eat.
His name? The droid calls himself IB-OP.

By the way, Teleporting doesn't play nice with being followed by a droid.

Monday
I'm now an aspiring Paragon of Hope, ready and willing to overthrow the evil First Order.
While exploring the Cave of Batuu, I heroically rescue a small child.
But I fail miserably at introducing myself to other Resistance Members.

I'll try doing two Resistance missions. Maybe a higher rank helps with introductions.

As a Resistance Sympathizer (Rank 0), I accept my first mission: Risks & Rewards.
Disrupt transmissions from the First Order's Comm Tower?
Sure, we can do that.

I wait hours for my dodgy Scoundrel Contact to show up at Oga's Cantina.
Once he hands over the dataspike, I'm off to nick the Comm Tower's access codes.

With my high Programming skills, this mission will be a walk in the park.

Takes me a good while to figure out the Comm Tower's location.
The place is crawling with stormtroopers!

IB-OP might look like he's working look-out, but he's just standing there.

My next mission, Forest Flight, sends me right back to that same Comm Tower.
This time, a First Order creep confiscates my fake ID and tries to beat me up.

Hah, I give him a smackdown instead.
Then, I scramble the Comm Tower's air monitoring system as directed.

Me and IP-OP, flying high on our first distraction mission in the Resistance's X-Wing Jet.
Another mission successfully completed.

Tuesday
This morning, I finally figure out I already have access to the Resistance Bunker.
The Holotable sells lots of useful stuff, but I only buy one fake ID.

I'm not sure why, but the Resistance wants me to buy another droid.
I've got 1,000 GC for the droid but not 750 GC for the 10 scrap metal.
Darnit, I totally jumped the gun on buying a droid, but it's been worth it!

I've already had IB-OP slice (aka hack) the lock of this First Order supply crate.
Shall I loot the supply create right under Lt. Agnon's nose?
Heck yeah!

Finding 3 Batuu citizens to recruit to the Resistance ain't easy!
I check every nook and cranny of both the First Order District and Black Spire Outpost.
Seems like most folks are already with the First Order or the Scoundrels!

After going back and forth between the two districts, I finally find a 3rd citizen to join us!

Here's me, digging through the scrap piles in the Resistance Encampment!
I've found 5 scrap metals this way.
Would one more mission earn me enough GC for that droid?

What luck! I fly a Day Trip mission in the Resistance jet which rewards me 5 scrap metal!
But I'm neither excited nor proud to own a second droid.

My droid also knows he's not The One. He names himself "Segundo."   Kinda sad.
I just don't have enough GC to buy scrap metal for upgrading two droids. If I could, I would!

I'm a Rank 3 Lieutenant in the Resistance Forces now.
Still a lot of work we Resistance fighters need to get done in this faraway Galaxy.
This woman named Rey showed up, acting like she's all famous. Should I know who she is?

For now, though, I need to get home for Sora'a birthday.

As soon as I get home, I find Sora and help him age up.
Sora's a Good sim with the Top-Notch Toddler trait, just like his Pa (that's me, remember?).

My birthday's tomorrow, but I don't want to bother with trying not to forget.
So, while it's on my mind, I drink an Age-Away serum tonight.

Yo, Sora! Before you do anything else, sign up for Scouting!

Household Progress

2nd Hero: Tetsuya
In-Progress Project:
*Create 2/7 Simbots and give them to 2/7 elders

***
3rd Hero: Kiyomi
Completed Project (1)
*Complete Omiscan Museum containing 16/16 artifacts and 9/9 relics

In-Progress Project
*Complete the Paragon of Hope aspiration. 2/3 milestones

***
4th Hero: Momo
In Progress Projects
*Complete the Lady of the Knits aspiration (3/4) and give away 10/70 knitted objects.

** *
Future 5th Hero: Sora
Traits: Inquisitive; Good; Top-Notch Toddler
Character values: n/a
7 Requirements: Incomplete

Remarks
*The elusive Terracotta Omiscan Vase: Of course, Kiyomi finds it just when he's trying to start a back-up second project.
Too late! We're all hyped for the journey!

*Journey to Batuu: This is my first time playing this pack. I'm unfamiliar with the corresponding Disneyland feature and only watched the first 3 Star Wars films.
I'm definitely not the target audience of this game pack. It's moderately fun.
The biggest hassle, though, is the constant loading screens. Constant!

*Paragon of Hope aspiration: Kiyomi was unable to complete the "Introduce self to 3 Resistance Members" task.
Even after introducing himself to 9 Resistance folks, that task wouldn't check off and he ran out of unacquainted Resistance Members.
The Challenge Team graciously gave me permission to use the aspirations.complete cheat..
So, after Kiyomi finished the other 2 tasks, I used the cheat to complete that first milestone.

*The Scoundrels: I quite like the Scoundrels faction. If Kiyomi weren't trying to earn the Paragon of Hope aspiration's Heroic Presence reward trait, he  might have spent more time with the Scoundrels.

*Kiyomi's projects: I didn't plan on Kiyomi doing back-to-back projects where he'd be off by himself for days at a time.
I simply chose projects that seemed to fit his Adventurous, Active traits.

I so loved this update!!  I mean, even if it didn't have Momo in it  ;=)
The whole aspect of Star Wars and Sims coming together just makes me so happy!!  Looks like you (and Kiyomi) had quite a bit of fun with it as well  :=)
And I mean, he could always give the extra droid to Momo since she's the best.  Just sayin'.
Little Sora is an adorably handsome child.
And as a Star Wars nerd side-note, the guy in your screenshots is not Kylo Ren.  Kylo Ren wears a helmet and robes.
Awesome update, great progress, and can't wait to see what's next for your heroic crew!

Haha, I knew you'd noticed that Momo didn't appear in a single screenshot in this update. ;)

Thank you for pointing out my horribly embarrassing mistake about First Order names.
I've now corrected the two instances where I typed Kylo Ren instead of Lt. Agnon.
Also, I know you've played this pack before. Do Romatic socials every show up for Rey? Or are we too busy battling the First Order?

Sorry, but I've never seen the romantic social options pop up for Rey or Kylo Ren.
And don't be embarrassed about getting names switched!  If I had a nickel for every time I'd mixed up names in an update, I'd be a very wealthy man right now  ;=)

I'm pretty sure Kiyomi has yet to met Kylo Ren as he's focused on Resistance alongside casual flirtation with the Scoundrels.
Does Kylo Ren emerge later as in the case of Rey and Vi Moradi.

I guess the absence of Romantic socials makes sense. No amenities for raising children in Batuu!
I wonder if that cute bartender...

You can have a romantic connection and woohoo can happen in Batuu, but no offspring unless you move the love interest into your household (which removes them from being part of the Batuu crew, of course, but they keep alien skin tones and such).

Thank you for letting me know! Is that also true for Vi Moraid, Rey, and Lt. Agnon?  I don't even see the Romantic option in their interaction menus.
Oh well, it's good to understand that Batuu nooboos will not play a part of my 7 Heroes Dynasty, hehe.

Rey is definitely off limits for romance, but I never really tried pursuing that with Vi or Agnon.  I'm guessing not?
And yeah, no Batuu nooboos, but maybe a random Batuu alien spouse for some future dynasty would be a fun addition to a household  ;=)

7 Heroes 3.13: Outwitting Kylo Ren
« Reply #73 on: January 15, 2021, 04:42:44 PM »
3.13. Outwitting Kylo Ren

Week 12, Wednesday (Day 81, 4th week of autumn)
Kiyomi:  Home sweet home!
My son, Sora, aged up to a child yesterday.
He's been working hard on his requirements, badges, and aspirations.

Remember my girlfriend Jauanita from Selvadorada? Last Saturday, she dropped by right before I left for Batuu.
I invite her over for another visit this morning to see how she's doing.

Don't mind the tent; it was just a backup plan.
*mutters: Why's Watcher making me do Big Happy Family, anyway?

Momo's been stuck on her Lady of the Knit aspiration since before my Batuu trip.
She needs to knit 10 Excellent knitted objects for the 3rd milestone's remaining task.

It hardly seems fair that her Legendary-quality items don't count!

Tetsuya gives away his third Servo this evening to the Akiyama household.
He's very unhappy about spending all his waking hours in his laboratory.

Tetsuya can whip up those circuit chips and mechanisms really quickly now.
Maybe he should take every fourth day off or something?

I still haven't given up on guiding 7 sims to the peak of Mt. Komorebi!
Tonight, I finally reach Level 7 of Rock-Climbing.
But I want a higher level before attempting to lead an excursion.

Juanita phones to say she's had twin boys.
We also have a daughter Sora's age, who was conceived in Selvadorada.

Thursday
Today's Give Thanks Day, so Sora has yet to start school.
It's a simple holiday, mostly to give Sora a chance to earn some satisfaction.

Momo decides to wing it with a gnome, angers him, then gets shocked when apologizing.
My apology to the gnome only get me another shock. The enraged gnome is now in my inventory.

Sora wants to gather Sixamite collecitbles as one of his 7 requirements, so I take him to Sixam.
Unfortunately, he can't gather geodes or crystals.
All he finds is one Dead Space Squid and 6 Solarium metals.

Despite that, Sora is beyond excited to visit his motherland for the first time.
We'll have to visit again with the whole family!

Saturday
Early in the morning, Sora earns his last scouting badge, so I invite him along to Batuu.
I also invite my daughter with Juanita. Her name's Tonya.
Sora's pretty excited to learn that he has a sister who shares his skin tone!

I do a number of short, easy missions so we can stay at the Resistance Embankment.
Meanwhile, Sora manages to make six good friends, including Rey and Vi Moradi.
Even I'm not good friends with those two yet!

I hear this man yelling at Sora, but later learn that he's hotheaded, not xenophobic.

Now that I'm a Rank 4 Lieutenant, I think it's time to go slice the First Order Holotable.
Are you ready, Sora?  Here's the plan…

Oh look, Kylo Ren has joined Lt. Agnon in guarding the First Order Cargo Building.
Now, I need to slice the control panel next to that security door to the First Order HQ.
So I'll need a distraction, Sora. Can you handle it?

Little Sora draws their attention like a boss!
I thought IB-OP could slice this control panel for me, but I don't get the option.
Darn! My first attempt to unlock the security door fails.

Great idea to keep them off guard, Sora!
My son is having Kylo Ren and Lt. Agnon pose for photographs.
In the meantime, I manage to unlock the security door on my second try.

Strangely, this First Order officer ignored me while I sliced their Holotable. Odd.
Mission accomplished.  Let's get outta here!

Back at the Resistance Encampment, Sora's feeling very sad from "interacting with evil."
He and I are both Good sims, but only Sora socialized with Kylo Ren.

Sora's been a tremendous help, but it's time for him to go home.

After Sora leaves, I accept a long, convoluted mission named Leveling the Playing Field.
It involves stealing a weapon from the First Order Cargo Building for my Scoundrel informant.
I have IB-OP unlock the supply crate, before I run in and snatch the weapon.

I take the weapon back to my Scoundrel informant, who gives me a couple more tasks.
I'm too high profile now to risk sneaking around looting supply crates and such.

Even if I'm just standing around doing nothing, I notice Stormtroopers start heading toward me.
From now until I reach Rank 5 Sergeant, I'm just gonna repeat the Day Trip mission.

Week 13, Sunday (1st week of winter)
The sun's risen by the time I become a Paragon of Hope with a heroic presence.
No time to bask in the glory, though.

Sora still has aspirations and requirements to do, so I need to head home ASAP!!
Rey:   Bbbuuttt, you never even got a lightsaber and sparred with me! *pouts

Back in Mt. Komorebi, we've big plans for spending the day in Senbamachi.
Sora adds a fossil and more Simmis for a total of 7 collectibles.

Apart from reaching Level 7 Charisma, Sora's all done with his requirements.

By lucky coincidence, today's New Skill Day!
Tetsuya and I scale the medium-height rock wall in north Senbamachi.

Mama wants to join us but her rock climbing skill isn't Level 3 yet.
Tetsuya and I seem to be gaining skill faster than on that climbing machine.
Or is it due to New Skill Day?

Everyone (except Mama) has something going on today.
Momo invites her fellow Toddler Project siblings and gifts them knitted stuff.
And Sora befriends two of his classmates and transforms into a Social Butterfly.

We head home at 6pm so Momo can prepare for her new job.

While Momo's at work, Tetsuya finishes crafting his 4th servo.
He also discovers that he can name him, so he does. Meet Quatro Nana-Bot.

When New Skill Day ends, I'm Rocking Climbing 9 and Tetsuya's Rock Climbing 6.
Gotta love New Skill Day!

As soon as Momo gets home from work, Tetsuya offers Quatro Nana-Bot to Olivia Spencer-Kim.
No, that young adult women isn't one of Tetsuya's brood.
That's Katherine Nana, one of Mama's Toddler Project kiddos.

Monday
Once Sora earns an A in grade school, he'll be done with his aspirations.
Incidentally, I've taken back the Interplanetary Ambassador Project for myself.
I start work in the Astronaut career this afternoon.

For Sora, we have a more challenging project in mind, something our Watcher's never tried before.

Momo's excited about having started the Culinary career for her Nutrition Project.
Of course, she's continuing her Knitting Project on the side.
Next time, Momo herself will tell you all about what' she's doing.

Oh my gosh, the next update is Momo-focused?!?!!?  I mean...oh, it's nice how you let them all have a turn to narrate and such.
Is IP-OP intended to read as I pop?  It's how I've started reading it and I find it delightful  :=)
So nice that Sora could get in time with his blue-toned sister!  Also an excellent usage of Batuu time to get more friends in place for the little socialite  :=)
When you were talking about creating a distraction for the mission to get intel from the holotable, I was wondering if you were going to weaponize the enraged gnome, but an adorable alien child who wants to take pictures is a pretty fantastic distraction  :=)
Can't wait for Momo time!!
