If you have Seasons, you can use the seasons to keep track. I have 28-day seasons, so if my Sims are starting their second year, that's 112 days. Otherwise, I think you have to just keep track.

We set them up so the heroes were doing things for others instead of themselves. I suppose giving 70 massages might qualify. What do others think?

I just completed the "Defeat the Mother of Strangerville" project for my founder hero and I was going to bring in the second hero when I realized that I screwed up and took a potion of youth serum back when she was a YA.  As daunting as it is to have to start over, I'm going to try again. I don't think that I can stomach trying to recreate my Sim again from scratch.  Can I reuse the copy of my founder Sim I saved prior to starting the challenge in a new save file?

Are immortal potions & serums the only method we can use to extend life? Can we use the Mother Plant & the wishing well as long as we wait until after the 7 requirements are met?

Hi again! I just wanted to clarify the potion question. Are we allowed to use the Potion of Youth? Back on page 2, @MarianT referred to reward potions to keep your founder and heirs alive, which I took to mean the Potion of Youth. On this page, however, Delokkpsi mentions failing the challenge because they used a Potion of Youth on their founder. I want to give the challenge another go, but I want to be clear on which methods of keeping a Sim alive are allowed. Also, are we restricted as to the timing of the potion? Can we give it anytime?

Actually, I think we intended the potion that you can buy as a reward. If that's the Potion of Youth, it's okay.

The collection journal has artifacts and treasures, but not relics. The treasures are the frogs and plates while the relics are the totems you assemble.

Hmm, for relics to be complete, you need 27 -- different bottom, top, and strength of crystal. Should we go with that or just 9 -- bottom, top, and crystal?

I would say either all 27, one of each rarity. 
Or, if is only 9, then they all have to be rare versions.

I have a question about the heirs - can they all be adopted by the founder (once each hero completes their 7 requirements, the founder would adopt the next hero) or does each hero need to do the adopting so that there are seven generations at the end? 

It doesn't make a difference to me. I would leave it up to the players.

Do we have a definitive answer on the Omiscan Museum?  Is it everything in the collection journal  - Ancient Omiscan Artifacts (16 items) AND the Omiscan Treasures (13 items) - AND either 9 or 27 relics? Or just the Ancient Omiscan Artifacts and either 9 or 27 relics, but NOT the Omiscan Treasures?  When I first started this project, I was thinking it was the two collections in the collection journal, so I'm glad I found these posts, but I'm not clear on exactly what needs to be included.
