Would the cat hangout lot trait work on a community lot in any world? Not sure if that is what the lot trait is called.

Rachel

I had my sim working out in Windenburg today and needed to put on the breezy lot trait. I remembered this post so I added the cat traits Cat Hangout and Cat Friendly only took a second or two and a cat spawned on the side walk.

@CynKuy and @ratchie

I didn't find befriending 7 strays particularly difficult.
You can introduce yourself to them in Brindleton Bay then invite them to your home lot to befriend, one after another.

I've also seen stray cats & dogs in the Selvadorada marketplace neighborhood (or whatever it's called)

RE: Exorcise 7 different houses at Expert level?

Have any of you managed to complete this project?
I've done one easy gig, one medium gig, and four hard (expert) gigs.
My sim always arrives for a gig with nothing happening on the lot for the first 2 hours or so.
She has yet to see a single specter during a gig (though they appear on her home lot).
During a gig, cursed objects appear only sporadically and she barely managed to finish her 3rd & 4th expert gigs.

Today, my sims goes on her 5th expert gig and, no matter what she does, her progress bar doesn't move.
I've exited the game to delete my Origin cache files and such.
I'm crossing my fingers that my future 7th hero will be able to complete her last three gigs. *sighs

Editing to Add:
Exiting the game and Origin, deleting the Origin cache files, then reloading the game fixed the exorcism progress bar for me.

This was a really fun challenge!  My seven heroes completed 24 projects in 153 days.
Thanks to this challenge, my first sim ever graduated from uni! <3
Their completed projects are listed under the spoiler.

What are the rules on moving your house to another lot. As in literally moving the house. My lot is not big enough to extend the house how I want but I really like my house.

We don't have any rules against it.

Regarding developing a soup kitchen. I have the dine out pack but would prefer to grill 70 dishes in a park.  Is that ok?

I have been really enjoying playing this, but I've run into a snag, and I'm not sure how to proceed.

So one of my toddlers I was nurturing aged up just before they could meet the requirements for top-notch. (She immediately got a seething grudge against my first hero the first time she asked her to go potty, and spent pretty much every moment of her toddlerhood in an angry mood that would not go away.  This made it much harder to level her skills than I'm used to)

Has my dynasty failed because she was adopted with the intent of her being one of the seven top-notch toddlers, and not the next hero?

The position of next hero is currently open, can she, or does she need to, slip into that slot.

Has my hero permanently failed this particular project and now can never complete it?
If my hero can no longer pursue this project, does the other toddler in the house have to fill the next hero slot that becomes available?

I'm okay with having to start over, but I thought I would ask for some feedback on whether I need to or not.

@Nelleam, the requirement doesn't say that all the toddlers you raise have to become top-notch, just that 7 of them do. I think you're okay to send this one to a good home and adopt another toddler to meet the requirement of 7.

You don't say how many toddlers you've raised so far. If these are your first 2, then you could put your angry toddler in the current hero slot and the other one in the next hero slot.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I've already sent 3 top-notch toddlers to good homes, so it's a relief that I can keep going.

I'm glad I don't have to start over.  My first hero had already completed all 3 museums and the scientist & serums projects.  She was doing the toddler one to find the next hero, so I think I'll keep my angry little darling.  I hope she can eventually get over her grudge about the potty training.

Hopefully her brother does better in spite of his hurt sentiment.  From now on I think I'll have my toddlers ask Hope for training and not the other way around.  I must have either been really lucky with the first three's sentiments, or really unlucky with these two.
