One of my future heroes is doing the project below:

Complete Distinguished Degree in Psychology and counsel 7 angry, 7 sad, and 7 tense Sims, putting them in a happy, inspired, or focused mood

As I was playing this evening, my sim "counseled" two angry sims who, when no longer angered, became confident.
May I count these two sims? Or do only sims who become happy, inspired, or focused count?

New Project:

Exorcize 7 different households at the Expert level.

Hi, I've foolishly decided to have my first go at exorcising ghosts etc. while waiting for one hero to finish a career and another waiting for a final vote in Evergreen Harbour.  I chose a sim to do this one as an extra as she had enough points for the Brave reward, but although she is at Medium skill 5 and I have her Paranormal Investigator license sorted, the 'Create Seance Circle' doesn't come up as it should when she clicks on the floor. I raised another Sim's medium skill and it works fine for him, so there's definitely a glitch.

Can I cheat her skill back down to 4 and raise it again to see if it fixes this?

No.  I have a Sim with the same problem, and she has been managing to complete exorcisms, although I haven't tried her at the expert level because she doesn't have the Brave reward yet. And there are plenty of other projects to be worked on. We would rather people not use cheats unless they have to.

No problem, it was only an extra one, because I haven't had chance to play with the paranormal stuff yet

Not really. My experience with scared Sims is that they are likely frightened by being in a haunted house. Thunderstorms might scare them, too, but I don't know that they would be any easier to counsel than tense Sims.

Thank you for the response! I was just curious. My child sim got scared during a scenic hike in Senbamachi recently, but I have no idea how often the Scared mood occurs.

This is such a fun Dynasty, I really loved doing it over the past week (in some rare spare time!) 

My Hero family have now each completed at least one project each (17 total), ending on Day 130.

Captain Creative completed 7 projects: Art Museum, Flower arrangements, Chef, Perfect fruit/veg/herbs, Community upgrades, Teacher and mentoring, Politician (demos and speeches)

Hugo the Historian completed 3 projects: Natural history museum, Scientist and serums, unique songs

Ambassador Andre completed 2 projects: Astronaut/ambassador and Tech Guru + games

Melody Mentor completed 2 projects: Personal Trainer, Motivational bestsellers

Lucy Leader completed 1 project – improve Evergreen Harbour

Casper Charity completed 1 project – Soup kitchen

Tabitha Needles completed 1 project – Lady of the knits

(I know I need to message the team, but I'm just excited about it, heh.)

Thank you! Normally I like gardening, but moving to a very non-green Evergreen Harbour made that a gruelling slog to the finish. I did have fun with the Soup Kitchen and the other Politician project though, that's not a career I normally do

I gave up on a couple of extras - the Robotics one because it was so slow, and Curing Vampires because I managed 5 but wasn't having any luck finding more.

The Robotics one isn't bad once the sim has the Robo Arm and stops getting constantly dazed.

And another one invaded the house one night but hasn't been seen since.  That's still not seven.

I didn't know that about the Robo-arm, that's good to know. Usually hanging around parks at night throws up a few vampires, but they just weren't appearing for me.  Maybe I needed to keep better track of who wasn't aging up to elder or dying off!

I'm tempted to try doing all the projects to see how long it takes, but that would take quite a while
