Ok. Let's try this again. I wrote up my whole update a couple days ago and when I hit "post" it said that I didn't have anything in my message body. After messing around for a few minutes I gave up. I've also decided to go the route that a few others have recently done, and that is to make short updates instead of story. I may change my mind at some point in time, but right now I just don't feel it.
Chapter 2: Power of Antiquity (1st Spring, Week 2)As promised, here is Imelda as a toddler. She has her mommy's hair color, and her daddy's eye color. She is also a mermaid. Can't remember her toddler trait, but think it's inquisitive or something. I do have to say that she earned Top Notch Toddler the fastest I have ever seen...like less than 2 days! I'm sure some of you do that all the time, but I do not get along well with toddlers.
Since Imelda is essentially done her work for the toddler stage, I decided it would be a perfect time to take Gonzalo to Selvadora to start his Archeology skill and work on whatever antiquities collection proves to be the most beneficial. He took a 4 day trip in order to be home in time for Imelda's birthday.
Imelda's birthday party was a success, however, she aged up needing a shower something fierce. Their house was still kinda tiny, and had a VERY open floor plan (meaning shower and toilet were in the kitchen with no walls). Imelda would die of embarrassment if all the people at her birthday party saw her naked. So she ran to the ocean and went for a swim, however, it didn't help her hygiene. Sidenote: The seagulls mean we have improved the islands the first level. I have never done the conservation thing before, so I am interested to see what happens.
Gonzalo and Kalama have also decided that the house needs to be a "normal" house now that Imelda is a child. Everyone needs a little bit more space and privacy. The watcher doesn't currently have the patience to build one house, so we are just gonna piece together some rooms and call it a day.
