Letting the butler take care of your house when all of your sims go to uni?

I found out that it is possible to send 2 sims to the university at the same time. But as my household have 2 sims, 2 dogs, and 2 cats and a butler, i was wondering if it is possible to send my 2 sims to the university while having my butler take care of the house and pets untill my 2 sims graduate and come back.
Is this possible? Or do i have to send 1 sim at a time to ensure to keep my house?

I don't know, but I doubt it.  To try it, you could create a "save fork" first, choose "Save As" instead of "Save," and the resulting save would be separate from the first one.
Another option would be to put a placeholder sim in the household, some sim you don't care about but would allow the household to continue without you until your sims graduate.
