Asking for Large Loan

Hey all, I'm playing an underhanded sim. I got her Charisma up so that she can ask for Small and Large Loans. I notice the Small Loan interaction works almost all the time. But the Large Loan frequently gets turned down, even if I have a great relationship with the person, good needs, pleasant conversation, the other sim is feeling ok and all that. Anyone know the percentage chance of failure or success Asking for Large Loan?

Maybe I need to be Confident to make it work better?
