I created this post as a companion to the
How To Create a New Sims 3 Folder.
I was thinking there may be players who don't want to create their own new Sims 3 folder. They would rather download one, if possible. So, I put together a new Sims 3 folder complete with a mods folder setup with an overrides and package folder with an updated Resource.cfg file. (There is No extra mods or custom content added)
-- Note: Package folder has 2 files in it. NoBuildSparkles.package and nointro.package.

To use the new Sims 3 folder 1. Rename your original Sims 3 folder, so nothing gets overwritten. - Save files, mods, custom content will be safe.
To rename Right-click the Sims 3 folder and select Rename. Give it a name like old, for example.
2. Double-click the resulting Sims 3 folder that was placed on your desktop from unzipping it and move it to your Electronic Arts folder.

-- \Documents\Electronic Arts
Once the old folder is renamed and the new one moved in, all should look something like this:
