I created this post as a companion to the
How To Create a New Sims 3 Folder.
I was thinking there may be players who don't want to create their own new Sims 3 folder. They would rather download one, if possible. So, I put together a new Sims 3 folder complete with a mods folder setup with an overrides and package folder with an updated Resource.cfg file. (There is No extra mods or custom content added)
-- Note: Package folder has 2 files in it. NoBuildSparkles.package and nointro.package.

How-to save the file:
Click on the file and select Save File. It's suggested to save to desktop and unzip it there.
How-to unzip the file:
1. Right-click and select All.
2. It will ask where to unzip the file and give a suggested place. (desktop).
3. Click Extract.

To use the new Sims 3 folder 1. Rename your original Sims 3 folder, so nothing gets overwritten. - Save files, mods, custom content will be safe.
To rename Right-click the Sims 3 folder and select Rename. Give it a name like old, for example.
2. Double-click the resulting Sims 3 folder that was placed on your desktop from unzipping it and move it to your Electronic Arts folder.
To move the folder Right-click the Sims 3 folder and select Cut and then paste it into the Electronic Arts folder.

Once the old folder is renamed and the new one moved in, all should look something like this:

Then you're ready to copy back some folders and files to get your game back up and running.
