Hi challenge team,

quick question:
is it ok to move in Sims through marriage?

If we were at the beginning of the challenge instead of nearing the end, I would have said yes, and added it to the rule. But we are way down the road now, and others could have done that except that the rules only allow for "Ask to join household" and "Ask to move in". It's really too late to change that rule, but I do apologize for not thinking of that move-in screen before the challenge started.

I am confused now. If, let's say, I added someone through marriage, should I replay my game without doing it?

Given Glazey's ruling above, then yes, go ahead and redo your effort if you added someone through marriage.

I have replayed the challenge.
My new result is Week 1, Wednesday, 2:54 PM, for a total of 4,734 minutes.
Please amend my score.
Thank you!

I finished on Week 3, Monday at 1:04am for a score of 21184. This was definitely an interesting challenge and I learned a lot about killing off Sims. I usually get so attached to them that I try to prevent them from dying.

So, unfortunately, I have to ask (almost) the same question as in the previous challenge.
Can I mark an aspiration milestone as done?
My Sims needs to have level 4 in his career; he has level 9, but the game doesn't mark it as completed.

It's apparently a known bug if the Sim already has a higher career level...

Go ahead and count it as done, @Nandarelle .

My Sim completed an aspiration, died and joined the household as a ghost.
Then, I messed up, and completed the same aspiration with another Sim.
(To anyone still playing: be careful when savenging for points.)

I assume the first Sim has to go, because his aspiration is no longer unique. But because he already joined the household, I can't release his spirit.
How do I get rid of this Sim?
And can I reuse his death type, or do I need a 9th way to die?

I tracked down Glazey and here is her response --

move out the sim that completed the aspiration second making the first one unique again. Then invite in someone else.

Ok, I'll do that.
Thanks for the quick response, Metro and Glazey!

The family of Memento Mori and his friends seemed quite short-lived, but they came together again after death. It was a rather eventful couple of days.

They were an all ghost family at Wednesday, 3:52 am, so after 4072 minutes.

I had lots of fun planning and playing this challenge, so thank you once again, challenge team!

Finishing up the Finale is always kind of a big deal. And what a strange year this has been for all of us, eh? Whew.  :-\ 2021 is going to be better. I know it.

Anyways -- my ghost family finished up on Week 2, Monday @ 10:21 am. -- 11,644 minutes.

Spectra Casper and the 7 other friendly ghosts were all members of the same household at 5:52pm on Friday Week 2.
17,872 minutes.

I had a three part "aha" moment on this one.  Unfortunately, the parts were separated by several sim-days each and I lost a few days by not getting all the way through the thought quicker.

Still, it was fun.  And it's strange how hard it is to kill them when it's so hard to keep them alive.
