As promised almost a week ago - a review of the Shayde house, just in case it is useful to anyone named
@Nindigo I had actually begun this on Friday my time, but clicked the back button for some reason, and when I returned, the text of the post was there, but the attachments had all disappeared except the first. So I didn't post it, instead I thought I'd do it later. Got stuck into my study today and yesterday and then saw the wonderful and lovely new story that Nindigo is writing about VJ and Miraj
here and the ongoing adventures of her time with Aggie
here.
And so, without further ado, here's the current layout of the house. Sims, Ghosts, a cat and Gnomes are running rampant around the place, so please be careful and take out your own insurance!
An overview of the entire property from above. To give proportions/locations of the different features in the house, as well as the main house (2 basements, ground floor and 2nd floor) there is a backyard painting/sculpting area (for museum pieces), large fenced in future gardening area, current smaller gardening area, family fishing pond, playground for the kids and school friends, outside his and hers bathroom facilities, outside gym, parking area and outdoors 3 lane ten pin bowling alley. Oh, and a number of brain enhancement machines and potties.

From the end of the house closest to the Altos, including outdoor Gym and family playground.

The rear of the house, the large empty fenced off yard will be for a future nectar supermax (if I choose to try for one of those - I may not). But regardless, it'll be used as a bigger plant garden.

The side of the house closest to the Landgraab's property. Long wall is due to the paintings currently on that corridor wall inside. Cars and other vehicles are outside - no seasons (on purpose), so they can't get damaged by the elements.

In the back corner I put up a deck so that Sky has a nice background of the ocean and lighthouse when painting her descendants for the museum. A sculpting station is there as well so she doesn't have far to go. As toddlers can get bored easily, I have put a doll house and a toy box there to keep toddlers entertained between portrait and sculpture

The fishing pond was mostly stocked by Parker Langerak, although Cobolt travelled overseas to get the French, Egyptian and Chinese fish for the pond. The only ones to go are those from uni. Not much more than to say about this, I don't think.

The his and hers outdoors bathrooms. I am forced to lock the doors manually to male and female as the specialist his/her doors can't be used on a residential lot. Went this way with these so that a future handy sim can have lots of practice of upgrading (and teens can prank them, unlike all in one bathrooms. Within 24 sims hours of them being built, either Vejay or Sage boobytrapped a sink in one of these bathrooms.

Starting from the end closest to the Altos, on the other side of the wall from the outdoor gym is the alchemy station and storage shelves and the chemistry table.

Next to 'The Lab', is 'The Studio'. It used to have double the sculpting stations in it when various helpers and Sky were all learning sculpting and becoming Icemen/Icewomen. Now, half of these have been removed to make room for Dreamer's scratching post, bed, food bowl, toileting facilities and toys. a cheap tv and couch is also in here ... the watcher hoped it would be broken, but so far no luck.

Through the door from 'The Studio' is 'The Grand Entry'. Unsurprisingly, the front door takes you to the front yard and the back door takes you through to the back yard. The family's collection of vacuums (the cleaner way to travel) takes pride of place in 'The Grand Entry'. There are also painting easels in this place as well as a set of 8 rocking chairs along one wall. These chairs are the favourite haunts of former family members who have returned from beyond (so far Aggie, Parker and Ethan have returned).

'The Kitchen and Dining Room' is next, this also includes the nooboo and toddler care area of the house ... though at the opposite end of the room to the stove, microwave and replicators. Between the fridge (Kelvinator -1) and the replicators is a doorway to the room containing the spiral staircase down to the immortal museum and up to the mortal museum.

Down the hallway from 'The Kitchen and Dining Room' are the 8 bedrooms for the 8 immortals, each one colour coded for the current or future immortal for whom it will be their 'Forever Room'. Each room has a double bed and pair of bedside tables. These hold mementoes from their lives including old homework, prom photos, graduation rewards, excursion rewards and more.

Also off the hallway are the 'Kids Rooms' that children and teens sleep in. First of all, the room with the boat beds is for the children, and contains tables for them to do homework on and some toys. The other room has a different style of single bed. Their room has tables for homework as well, much to their chagrin.

Downstairs are the two levels of 'The Immortal Museum'. The top floor are for Targeted Immortals 1-4, and the bottom floor is for Targeted Immortals 5-8. Each room is coloured for the immortal in question. The items needing repairs by a future handy immortal are stored in this area as well.

'The Mortal Museum' is upstairs. These are a single portrait, sculpture and photograph of the mortal in the elder lifestage, as well as their urn.

Also upstairs, through another entrance are some more areas for future immortals - a 'Writing Studio', a 'Science Lab', a 'Bar Area' and a 'Nectary Manufactory'.

'The family playground' containing swings, a tree house, a see saw, a play gym, but no sandpit.
