Well, tell the furniture and shoes to stop jumping out at me ... I'm in far less pain now ... almost 24 hours since the kicking shoe with foot incident ...

We open with Vejay being bottle fed by Grandma Scarlet. He's almost old enough to become a toddler.

On one of Aggie's frequent visits back to the Shayde house, she visited the Art Studio to keep an eye on her students, they were all developing so nicely!

Before his makeover - he's the son of Miraj Alvi and Kaylynn Langerak, and the hair, I think is Miraj.
He's got pretty eyes, I think.

He then played with blocks, the xylophone and toys from the toy box.

Scarlet and Ethan Shayde didn't let old age get in the way of their love for each other.

They were eternally faithful and wanted to show it to everyone in Sunset Valley, whether living or dead.

Kaylynn became an elder ...

Completed a degree via distance education (was actually an honorary degree)

and got a job in the culinary arts.

After her shift, she went home and posed for her museum pieces in her mortal museum room.

Mortimer got invited to a party by his girlfriend and mother of his children, Bella Bachelor.

And her brother, Michael was there keeping an eye on his little sis and his nieces and nephews

Back home ... Parker's antics finally caught up with him ...

No, not the ones in which he makes Mortimer and Bella grandparents through their daughter, Katrina,

But rather his development of a sweet tooth, thanks to this little fella.
Anyway, it was during Mortimer's part with Michael and Bella that the sugar hit from the jellybeans got too much for Parker's system and he ...

There was much crying, of course, and much use of the moodlet manager, especially when it came to Sky and Cobolt, because this happened soon after Parker's death

Followed by the change in diet

letting her dad know he would be a grandfather

And changing into more comfortable clothes while sculpting her way to a sculpting supermax

Kaylynn consoled herself by hugging and snuggling and cuddling Vejay ... tomorrow her little man would become a bigger little man, and head off to school

But for now,, she just loved how cuddly he still was.

Even as she mourned the passing of her big brother, Parker, dirty old man to some, but to Kaylynn, he had so much love to give, it couldn't be contained to just one woman.
RIP Parker Langerak, and as you discovered during your life, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

Just caught up and what a ride! I'll miss dirty man Parker. He sets the bar high for pollinators everywhere. He did his part though and that's what matters...even if he had developed a deadly sweet tooth. 

This might be a newbie dynasty question, but how did you paint large portraits?  I've been trying to figure it out to no avail.

In the end it's always the jellybeans lol Sad to see him go but happily awaiting the new arrival.

In order to paint large portraits you push "I" on your keyboard to change the size of the portrait.

@mpart, once you get to level 7 painting skill the ability to paint portraits unlocks.

You then click on easel, select paint portrait of ... and then select the sim you want.

You can then pick the size you want to paint ... and also press 'I' as @fansidoodle said.

Security "Mine or yours?" and to Dirty Old Man "Didn't dad teach you better than that? You should always pay off security before you head back stage, make sure we look the other way ... now I've seen more than I want to see."
Dirty Old Man "I must be off, I have a party to get to .. little Sage becomes a toddler tonight"
Security "Oh, I thought there was *ANOTHER* party you had to go to. Dad always mentioned the parties he attended ... best lock the bathroom door after you and my *ahem* siblings"

Well, the Watcher is off for about a week after today - a short stroll from the beach and the fish and chips shop. Between where I am staying and the fish and chips shop there is a convenience store. I won't be online during that time.

Generations 1, 2 and 3. Generation 1, Scarlet, is immortal (as happened in an earlier post), Generation 2 (Sky) becomes adult today ... and is still trying to complete her Maxed Career for requirements (sculpting) before changing to her forever career (to keep her out of my hair.) Generation 3 (Sage) is now a Toddler and is showing off her music skills to her mother and Grandmother.

Aggie telling an elderly Kaylynn and Ethan that life as a ghost isn't too bad, you get to float, you can go through walls and if you have sculpting skill you can start sculptures but not finish them to annoy the watcher.

Cobolt has toileting duties - he won't be living forever, afterall and should get to spend as much time with Sage as possible.

He also has the responsibility of teaching her to talk

Afterall, Sky has to continue to sculpt, while she's currently a topiary tantalizer, she longs to be a master sculptologist.

Cobolt and I have been enjoying the sights of Champs Les Sims.

So, we put Kaylynn's instructions to good use and made the beds.

Then the jet lag from the flight over caught up with us and we slept for the rest of the day.

We left to purchase the nectar making equipment and to talk to the locals about the local sights.

We both put in long trips on the vacuums - you had it, mum, the vacuums truly are a clean way to travel.

Then there is Mr and Mrs Shayde. Mrs Shayde is the daughter of Grandma Scarlet and Grandpa Ethan and she was a sculptor before becoming a policewoman like Grandma Scarlet. But she's got her eyes set on becoming a Dynamic DNA Profiler.

Mrs Sky Shayde is married to Mr Cobolt Shayde. He is like a father to me. He taught me to fish when I was younger, and I've always wanted to have my own personal aquarium ever since.

Since I became a teenager, he's been the main one to teach me how to drive. The first car was a fancy car, and I was pretty nervous.
