I played the family for a little bit last night. Amy finally grew up into a YA. Before she did though, I got the msg that she had made the honor roll. I wasn't sure if she would make it or not b/c of skipping school that one day. There was one other day when she stayed up almost all night, but still went to school the next day w/very little energy. She came home w/0 energy and didn't quite make it to her bed and collapsed in the living room. -5 pts for passing out. On  her last day as a teen, she got a call from Little Joe Cartwright to go on a date and I said yes. That same night, all of the toddlers grew up into children. I just barely got the 4th one (Batman) trained into walking. I got a new event roll and it came up for one of my sims to quit their job. Easy decision for having Kitty quit even though she was pulling in over $6k per work day, but she had to b/c training those 4 toddlers was a full time job in itself. Before anybody aged up though, Grimmie came for one of the stray dogs.





To my surprise though, a couple of nights later when the dog's ghost showed up, it was blue! I thought for sure it would be red.



Immediately after taking the dog up, Grimmie comes into the house and starts playing w/Windy who was playing on her xylophone.





I think it was one of those "awwww" moments. I've never seen Grimmie playing w/a toddler before. In the last one, he is actually conducting Windy, LOL  Then Windy had to get up and go potty and Grimmie was not real pleased. Maybe b/c he was enjoying the playtime w/her.

Last, but not least is Amy.



She now becomes the torch holder and Kitty becomes uncontrollable. I kind of wish there was an animation of passing the torch from one sim to the other. Oh well. I'll leave the kids here for a little bit until it's time for Amy to be married. She's just now working up her relationship. I'm not sure what to do though. I'd like to keep the kids here  until they grow up, but I need to make room for both Amy's husband and the triplets that I need her to have (gens 3, 6, and 9 have to have 1 set of trips and Amy is gen 3). My only other choice is to use MC to allow for a bigger household, but then it would be very hectic not to mention crowded w/so many uncontrollable sims in one household. Soon it will be Shadow's turn to meet Grimmie. She will definitely have a blue ghost. She's had a very fulfilling lifetime.

Another update tonight. It's been a very, very rough week on my poor Quintero family. First, Kitty dies right at 102 days. She got a very nice golden urn too!





The kids were pretty shaken up when Kitty died.





and then 2 days later, Tyrone kicks the bucket





Unfortunately, he fought it hard. He definitely did not want to go w/Grimmie





Of course, in the end, he had no choice.

Then it was Shadow's turn to be greeted by Grimmie









The same day, the kids age up to teens but just before she aged up, Penny asks Grimmie for a bedtime story.

Then James Bond. I found it very interesting since he was toddler that he got the yellow eyes! I wonder if the adoption interface copies some of the household genetics? I don't know.



James Bond also loves pulling pranks like scaring her on his sister Penny, lol



and last is Batman. If you remember, one of my rolls for him was to have a hat. So he has to always have a hat.



On one of  the visits by Grimmie, he decided to take pics of Amy since she was a celebrity. pretty nice when you make an impression on him!





After all of that, Amy had to get married to carry on the torch. Interestingly, I had just chosen her to be active as the next torch bearer when the camera zoomed in on Kitty. I chose a sim that Dee shared w/me, Little Joe Cartwright.

They now have a little girl that I named Amina. According to one of my rolls, I have to randomize her face so we'll see what I get. No pics just yet though.

Aww, so much sadness for the Quintero family.

But your quads made it through to teens and look happy enough, despite all the trauma.
Windy and Penny are very pretty, James Bond is devilish with those golden eyes, and Batman is cute with the hat!

Grim was just as odd in my Farmacy! He stayed for a birthday party after taking the birthday boys' grandpa away!

And I love Amy's white/blonde hair with her pink tinged skin----very pretty and unique.

It was great getting to see Little Joe as a young adult!
He's still a kid in the game I popped him into, and doesn't get played much now.
So it's nice to know he's getting a life in someone's game, even if it's in a crazy house! lol

Can't wait to see pics of Amina, even if you do have to random face her!
Maybe the trips Amy has to have will show off more of her and little Joe's genetics.

Well, the good news so far is that Amina has her mom's hair!!

That is good news! I was hoping you would get to keep that going! Have you already chosen her as torch bearer or are you going to wait to see how the other kids turn out, since Amina had to have a random face?

I guess I'll wait and see. Amy and Little Joe still have to have trips so I'll wait. Her face is very similar to what she inherited so it's not bad. The other nice thing is that she has her dad's eyes (blue)! I do want to get rid of the yellow eyes! lol So right now, the bottom line is I'll wait and see. When the quads become YA, there will still be plenty of time for the trips.

I finally have a few moments to update my progress. The quads are now YA's. First we have Batman. I got a huge surprise though when he got his stats. He graduated Valedictorian!!!! I never touched him as far as school went. Of course I don't control anybody, but Amy.

Also, he is up to his usual antics of scaring others in the family, LOL

On the evening of Amina's birthday, she looked under mom and dad's bed and saw monsters and then passed out. I wasn't aware that neurotic kids would find monsters. I knew brave kids do though. I suppose it makes sense.



Also, I know about not liking to wash the dishes (I think we all do, lol), but washing them remotely??? LOL

The night before the graduation ceremony, Amy decided to mourn a little bit about her children growing up. If you remember rightly, she is a family sim. She'll be happy again.

The 5th floor is currently unoccupied.

My current event roll is "Blood Relative." I have to move somebody in for 3 days and I chose Amy's sister Aurora. Other than that, I have always gotten "nothing" on my build mode rolls. One of these days though, I'll probably get hit w/the delete all outside walls, lol

Amy definitely had quads! They all got the hydrophobic trait. First is Leilani who has absent minded, rainbow hair, dislikes children, Giselle - ugly nose, medium hair, ugly clothing, Brian - hat, klepto, lucky, and last is Delta - evil, fat, bald. I think w/those traits alone none of them will be the torch bearer.

My Janette wore that same cap with ears to her graduation! First time I ever saw it too.

The graduating quads all grew up very nicely and congrats to Batman for getting top honors.

Amira is beautiful with those striking blue eyes and that glorious white hair!

With the new quads getting such bad traits and rolls, that leaves Amira as torch bearer, unless you're planning on more kids?

Mine still have no kids, but I'm already curious how the offspring will do in school all on their own.

Thanks!! Yes, I chose Amina b/c of her blue eyes and white hair. She is a teen now. I have to say that Batman getting the Valedictorian is the first one and he's gen 3.

The quads grew up into children and I moved Windy out. I'm thinking now that I should have maybe kept her there. The first night of childhood and they ALL wanted bedtime stories! I just have Amy, Little Joe, and Amina left and it was a traffic jam. A couple of the kids got a *little sleep and the other 2 didn't get any sleep at all! Leilani was born w/the blue eyes and white hair, but I had to change it to rainbow hair according to my rolls. Also, I turned off bedtime stories via nraas retuner. NO MORE traffic jams and kids w/0 energy at 7 am!

Here is a small update. The quads just became teens and I didn't get a pic of it, but Amina was asked to go to the prom. Here are some things that happened at the prom:
