withOUT the multiplier my total score is 750

Toddlers:
1 toddler maxed 3 skills and the second toddler maxed 4 skills.
Toddler points = maxed 7 toddler skills = 210 points

Children
Maxed childhood skills = 20 points each.
4 children times 3 maxed skills each = 12 child skills = 12X20 = 240 points for skills
3 children were A students = 60

Teens
2 teens maxed 2 skills apiece = 60
4 teens maxed 3 skills apiece = 180
4 teens were A students = 60

My calculations:
3 got A’s as children = 60 points for A’s --- so 240 + 60 = 300 child points
Child points   = 300
Teen points    = 240
Total skill/grade points = 750

Could you help me with the multiplier, I stink at math?

Thanks a lot for another fun challenge, team.  8)

Did you write down non-maxed skills before the kids aged up?

Children all did 3 of the 4 skills, so non maxed skills = 1 for each child.

There are so many skills in the game for Teens depending on which packs you have --- or did you mean how many skills the teens started, but did not max?

Not just Teens, but any of the kids...were they working on any specific skills that were not maxed before they aged up? That's what the multiplier is based on.

As Toddlers:
Toddler 1 maxed 3 skills and did not max two
Toddler 2 maxed 4 skills and did not max one

As Children:
All four maxed 3 skills and did not max one

As Teens:
Teen 1 did not max 6 skills and maxed 2 skills
Teen 2 did not max 7 skills and maxed 2 skills
Teen 3 did not max 4 skills and maxed 3 skills
Teen 4 did not max 3 skills and maxed 3 skills
Teen 5 did not max 4 skills and maxed 3 skills
Teen 6 did not max 3 skills and maxed 3 skills

In my scoring post a few messages back, I did include information about their grades as children and teens --- if you need it.

But, I need to know what to put in each column for the leaderboard.

coolsim9999999 Toddler        Child        Teen        SM            Total
                        210                   240               240             1.068         736

However, that does not factor in the A's in school for children and teens.  Should I add that in to get the points for their A's? --- the spreadsheet doesn't have a grades column.

4 teens were A students

3 children were A students

You need to know what level each skill was at that was not maxed to calculate the multiplier.  those levels are what is used for the multiplier.

Thanks so much, Teresa!  I think I've got it right now.  I did it on my calculator, as well.

Edit: Oh, do you mean like level 7 in skill x for each skill that they started for each teen and add all 6 teens levels of all skills together? --- I was wondering how you got 296 skills for a total with only 6 sims...lol ;D --- I think I figured it out.

Also, if this is helpful:
Based on this example:

Here's an example:

It's week 4, Day 1, 8 a.m., so it's time to stop playing. Your adopted Sims have completed 3 toddler skills, 5 child skills and 7 teen skills, along with 3 A's as children and 4 A's as teens. In skills not maxed, they have a total of 24 levels.

Toddler points =  90
Child points    = 160
Teen points     = 165
Total skill/grade points = 415
Multiplier = 1.00 + (24 levels X .002) = 1.00 + .048 = 1.048
Score = 415 * 1.048 = 434.92 = 434 (round down to whole number)

Based on this example, I did the following on my calculator --- with all the A’s for children and teens included (4 teens were A students and 3 children were A students)
It's week 4, Day 1, 8 a.m., so it's time to stop playing. Your adopted Sims have completed 7 toddler skills, 12 child skills and  teen skills, along with 3 A's as children and 4 A's as teens. In skills not maxed, they have a total of 24 levels.

So, with my info filled in:
It's week 4, Day 1, 8 a.m., so it's time to stop playing. Your adopted Sims have completed 3 toddler skills, 12 child skills and 16 teen skills, along with 3 A's as children and 4 A's as teens. In skills not maxed, they have a total of 24 levels.

Toddler points = 210
Child points = 300
Teen points  = 300
Total skill/grade points = 810
Multiplier = 1.00 + (34 levels X .002) = 1.00 + .068 = 1.068
Score = 810 * 1.068 = 865.08 --- so 865 (round down to whole number)
coolsim9999999 Toddler        Child        Teen        SM            Total
                        210                   300               300             1.068         865

If I'm right about each teen not maxing a certain skill but getting to say level 7 in it and add those 6 skill set numbers together I think I need to look at all the levels of each skill and recalculate my total score and SM.

That looks like the right process.  I am in class so can't actually run the numbers. But it looks like you are on the right track.

Hi Team,

I recalculated my SM after I found out how this works.

So, with my new info filled in:
Toddler points = 210
Child points = 300
Teen points = 300
Total skill/grade points = 810
Multiplier = 1.00 + (78 levels X .002) = 1.00 + . = 1.156
Score = 810 * 1.156 = 936.36 (round down to whole number)

So, my total is 936.

coolsim9999999 Toddler        Child        Teen    SM          Total
                        210             300          300     1.156        936

Thanks so much for your helping me to figure this out, everyone 8)!

Toddler skills 150 + 150 = 300
Child A's 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 = 80
Child skills 80 + 60 + 80 + 80 = 300
Teen A's 15+15+15+15+15+15 = 90
Teen skills maxed 30 + 30 + 105 + 75 + 105 + 90 = 435

300 + 80 + 300 + 90 + 435 = 1205

Multiplier partial points 32 + 33 + 25 + 35 + 27 + 46 = 198 x .002 + 1 = 1.396

Grand total 1205 x 1.396 = 1682
