Hello!
Are we allowed to change the children's lifestage as they become teens ?

I guess Elinoee meant turning to vampires, etc. (life state, not stage) So, the question is still open.

Glazey can have the last word when she pops in, but I'd say no because vampires have different lengths of life stages, don't they? There's the rule that you cannot extend life.

I actually answered this yesterday as life state, then realized it said life stage and deleted my response.  :)

The only life states allowed are human and alien - I don't believe there is a way in game to turn your sim into an alien, so, no, there is no changing of life states.
If there is a way to change a human into an alien without cheats, let me know.

Thanks @Nikitachi , @Metropolis Man and @GlazeyLady ,and sorry for my bad english !
Yes,I meant "are we allowed to turn the children to vampires or spellcasters".
The rules say that the 2 sims at the beginning have to be human or alien,but I saw nothing about the children.
So,ok,only humans or aliens in the family.

Thank you - I will make that more clear in the rules.

I got started on this last week and then went and got sick (yes, Covid).  So I hope to continue this weekend, depending on how I feel.  Since I am isolating at home for the next two weeks, I should have time.

I hope it isn't too bad and you recover quickly. Take care of yourself.

Thanks all.  I am feeling better today than yesterday so I am going to take that as a good sign.  I was able to play a little more today so I am feeling confident I will be able to get this completed by deadline.

PLEASE NOTE:

There was an error in the calculation of the Total on the spreadsheet - Apparently after I verified it, probably when I was trying to figure out how to protect cells, I inadvertently changed the total calculation to multiply by 8 instead of by the multiplier.  I have fixed it now, but if you made your own copy of it, please re-copy with the correction.

Thank you @Teresa for catching this and letting me know!

And I am done.

Points:

Toddler = 300
Child = 400
Teen = 930
Total skill/grade points = 1,630

Multiplier = 1.00 + (296 levels X .002) = 1.592

Score = 2,594

Hope you feel better soon @Teresa

Rachel
Thanks Rachel @ratchie

Hi everyone!

I'm back. My shoulder/neck/wrist injury is healing and my chiropractor said I'll be ok 8).  I think I've done one event this year, and I'm going to do the skilling kid one and the knitting one after that.  So, counting the finale, that should bring my total up to 5 events and I'll be in the 50 club.

This is from the example:
"In skills not maxed, they have a total of 24 levels."

I don't get it.  Is this for the 4 childhood skills or something else?

I'm figuring out all the score components now...

Thanks a lot,

Coolsim
