Thank you for the replies, MarianT!

O, and does anyone know how number grades 'translate' to letter grades?

Number equivalents for letter grades are shown in the scoring section.

No, that's not what I mean.
I don't play the game in English, and while this isn't language, strictly, my Sims don't get letter grades, but numbers.
My Sims might get a 4 and an 7,5 which maybe correspond to D and B-, but I'm not sure.
The game mechanics aren't different, so there must be a one to one equivalence.
Not a question for the challenge team per se, but for anyone who might know.
(If I just added up their grades for scoring, that would be a rather unfair advantage for me...)

Okay, well what is your range? What's the top grade?  Is 10 the highest? 7,5 sounds like a B+. Maybe you can just add them up?

I'm assuming the range is 1 - 10, based on real life.
I do know how the grades for children and teens correspond:
C = 6, B = 8, A = 10.
So that's a guide. I don't know if it is the same here, because an A+ would be higher than 10 which seems unlikely.

There is some time to figure this out, I probably won't have finished my scoring game until the final day.

How does this look to you: 10 = A+ = 10pt. 9,5 = A = 9pt. 9 = A- = 8 pt. 8,5 = B+ = 7pt. 8 = B = 6pt. 7,5 = B- = 5pt.; 7 = C+ = 4pt.; 6,5 = C = 3pt. 6 = C- = 2 pt. 5,5 through 3 = D = 1pt. Below 3 = F = 0.

That sounds about right. I'll use that then, unless I find the precise information somewhere before the end of the challenge.
(I sort of can't stand that I don't know it exactly.)
But anyway, thanks so much for thinking with me.

It was fun trying to figure it out. But if your top students start getting grades of 10,5, let me know and we'll rework the scale.

 Yet another challenge; tons of fun, strategy and some management. :)

My final score is 281.

A+: 22x10= 220, A: 4x9= 36, A-: 3x8= 24, B+: 1x7=7, B: 2x6=12, B-: 0, C+: 1x4=4, C: 2x3=6, C-: 1x2=2, total points of 311. Received 3 loans at the start, minus 30 pts = 281 points as a final result.

My 3rd sim enrolled at W1 D2 3.00 pm.

Good luck, have fun all.

Story mode generated a vampire sim for me??! Is this allowed, or do I need to re-create the household?

Vampires are not allowed. If you've exited from CAS, then create a new household. If you get another vampire (or spellcaster), delete that Sim and generate another one. And one way to avoid vampires is to not choose "sleep in a coffin" as your preference.

OK, I tried hard but I did make a strategic error which cost me. My practice was better, but I would never have been able to compete with some of the magnificent scores already posted.  Well done to all.  Good luck to all still playing, try to remain focussed and not get get distracted like me. ;D

Here are my scores:-

Connie = 65
Elliott = 67
Vincent = 29

My starting time was W1 D2 19.53 pm.  Connie applied at virtually the same time as the others, but hers took a lot longer to come through.

Really enjoyed this one and will continue the storyline into my usual play. So thanks to the team for coming up with such great challenges. Stay safe, take care.

Sorry. Just realised that I didn't put overall total. Duh :-[  I make it 161 and none of them had a loan.
