Marian - have you edited the rule set to reflect everything you have answered to date?

Yes -- the info about D's was already in the scoring, and flunking out made clearer.

One more really nice challenge completed  :D  This one was very original and I had much fun.
I think I will keep my three little sims and continue their story now that they are graduated  :)

Hi, I just registered earlier today so I can join the tournament challenges.

I already messed up in this challenge though (Question at the end of post). Looking through the Tourmament QA after the University rules, I learned that the enrollment time for the 3rd Sim must also be the rollover time each day. I did it at 12:01am the first time. Though the third sim did not get to enroll until 11:02am.

I also goofed because I waited to hear what scholarships they would get, in the mail, before applying for university. Then waited for University applications to be accepted, by mail, before enrolling. My three Sims did not get to enroll until mid morning on Wednesday.

Should I use this experience as my test run and create three more for the Tournament? Or is this a fail?

Go ahead and create another file for your scoring effort. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Went to the doctors because my arm was really hurting long story short I've twisted the tendon in my right forearm. I made it worse by trying to grate cheese which is super embarrassing so I cannot play sims at all. I tried and then cried because it hurt fingers crossed that if I rest completely I can finish my last semester before time is up.
I did try using my left hand and oh my goodness if anyone needs a challenge give that a try.

Hi all,

I still have a few questions:
Regarding aspirations: suppose my Sim gets Joke Star from CAS. Can I then freely switch between that and Academic? Or do I need to choose one or the other at the beginning of the game?

And for the Sims that we don't control for that day:
-can we set work tone in class or another activity, or pick between the options when they're not on the same lot as the active Sim?
-can we reply to pop-ups like phone calls, or choosing whether to work from home / go to work if they have a job?

O, and does anyone know how number grades 'translate' to letter grades?

Choose one and stick to it.

Not to both. Your Sim will automatically go to work.

Number equivalents for letter grades are shown in the scoring section.

Thank you for the replies, MarianT!

No, that's not what I mean.
I don't play the game in English, and while this isn't language, strictly, my Sims don't get letter grades, but numbers.
My Sims might get a 4 and an 7,5 which maybe correspond to D and B-, but I'm not sure.
The game mechanics aren't different, so there must be a one to one equivalence.
Not a question for the challenge team per se, but for anyone who might know.
(If I just added up their grades for scoring, that would be a rather unfair advantage for me...)
