Burnt Floor
« on: January 03, 2011, 04:50:28 AM »
I've noticed that the floor gets burnt after a heavy fire (mostly in the kitchen) and nothing I can do gets the burn stain out.
I've tried deleting the floor tiles, replacing them with new tiles... no improvement, the floor is still burnt. The most I can do was to cover it with a rug.
I've also noticed that the Sims get a negative moodlet from that burnt floor, something to do with "filthy" surroundings.  I know it comes from that burnt floor because my Sims cleaned the whole house and emptied all the trashcans, the negative moodlet remains.  Has anyone found a solution to burnt tiles? How to get rid of them? Thanks!  :-\

I think you can make your sim click on it and "clean up" like mopping the floor.

Yeah your Sim has to clean it up. If you put down new flooring that will be dirty too which doesn't really make sense.

Oh ok, I never thought of treating the burnt stains like puddles to be mopped.  Many thanks ! :)
