Party, eh?
« on: January 03, 2011, 02:53:35 AM »
My sim was invited to a party in the disco by his best friend, Connor. He went there, and enjoyed the music, danced, and even made a girlfriend. Suddenly two people whom he didn't know, came to him, insulted him, slapped him, and then started to fight. >:(

What the heck was that? ???

Same thing happened in the original game, where my sim was exercising in the gym but an old man started to fight him for no reason. The only thing I could find out was, 2 traits of that old man: Hot-Headed and Evil.

What you guys thing about this? ::)

Welcome to the forum Priyansh.  I did, however edit your post for language, just be careful in the future.

To reply to your question, you are probably right.  Hot headed and evil probably play a big role in that type of behavior.  Sometimes, we do not find it very amusing though.

Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Things like this happen from time to time.  Usually the Sim starting the fight is Evil or Hot Headed.  Now with Late Night, there are also bar brawls, which are still fights but the graphics are a little different.  Since yours happened in a disco, it might have been a brawl.

Also, please refrain from using any type of profanity on this Forum.  I'm going to edit your post to remove it.  You can view the Forum Rules by clicking on the link in my signature below.

Edit:  Salty beat me to the edit.  But still please have a look at the Forum Rules.

Don't worry! I had the same issue when I first got here, you'll adapt!
Keeping on topic: Yes, mostly mean-spirted Sims will want to start fights. Having an inappropriate Sim is another one of those things they'll insinuate a "disco fight".

Happens to the best of us (except me of course :P) so don't worry about it. Pam has moderators specified in editing Leto-text, because raw they are just to awfull and full of bad language. You don't believe me? Me neither. :P

But about your topic: what are the traits of your sims? It could be that they tricker somehow the fact that other sims will like to attack yours, such as unlucky or things like that.

It could also be that the Sim you met, flirted with, and became your Sim's girlfriend already had other Romantic Interests who were at the party.  If the fight happened immediately after you started romantic interactions with her then that's probably the case.
