Won't Share Bed?

My twin, child siblings will not share a double bed! One gets in, but the other complains "I can't go there!". I really want them to share as I think a double bed for twins would be cute. Did EA make a patch where siblings can no longer share beds?

I don't think anyone except couples can sleep in a bed.

Really? I've had siblings share a bed, and an adult and their kid.

In my experience, any pair of friends can share a bed. So, if you have the siblings socialize for a bit and raise their relationship level, they should be fine sharing the same bed.

First of all make sure that there is enough space for them to get into bed. Secondly make sure that they are friends.

Here's a pic of my twins Suri and Shiloh sharing thier parents bed. It does look cute. I would say try getting other Sims into the bed you want to use for the twins. If they can't get in either, the bed is somehow blocked. If they can, you probably need to build up the relationship between your twins. Mine are best friends.

That's completely right.
Sims won't share a bed unless they're friends or more, no matter whether they are family or not.

It might just be a bug.  Try selling the bed and replacing it with the same.  I had to do that in one of my games.  Then the two sims were able to use it again.  Also read on the official forums where others were having the same problem.  Never looked for another fix since that worked.  And it never happened to me again with any pair of sims.  Just a thought.
