Well, hopefully they do fix some bugs, but the patch is for the new expansion. 
What are they dragging their feet for?  Now modders get LESS THAN 24 HOURS before the first users get to play the expansion!!!!
There are some mods that I won't open the game without!

Well no bug fixes are stated coming, I am sure so bug fixes will come with the patch. This patch is about two things mainly. First it will prepare then game so the new EP will work. Second, it is a major quality of life update. It will change how bills work. Add a much needed inventory sorting function, add repo men to the base game, add firefighters to the base game, add a new fire system, a ladder and more. Huge improvements to the game.

This is a huge update. I expect it to cause issues a great many mods, and CC as between the pack and the updates a lot of code will be changed and added. Poor modders and CC creators have little time to do their magic before the new pack comes out.
